◇ MY NAME is Squire but typically online I go by SereneParadox. It's a username I came up with years ago that has stuck with me for a long time that I use for less professional accounts :)
◇ MY PRONOUNS are he/him. They/them is fine if you don't exactly know, but now you do. No excuses, it's in bold purple letters.
Most of my free time is eaten up drawing or writing for a number of OCs who you'll likely get to meet across my page! I enjoy drawing hair and faces, and anatomy is still a struggle for me, especially hands and legs. I also love to scrapbook, so you may see some of that as well :) Rarely if ever will I post my writing here, but if I can provide something spoiler-free that isnt subject to major changes, I might try it.

Not some deep philosophical question about the "why"s of life. What fandoms do I write for is what you should be asking. Reject broader philosophy, embrace fanfiction.
(How MUCH I write for each of these fluctuates because I only write what and when I'm motivated to. What I'm fixated on comes and goes, therefore so too does what I end up writing. All this to say that this list isn't in any particular order of what has been most or least written.)
◇ ORIGINS: Creatures of Nalthis — A book series created by the very talented @MaggotMacabre about a group of teenagers in an expansive fantastical world, their individual stories suddenly intertwined when they learn that each one of them are featured in an ancient prophecy referring to them as the Chosen: saviors of their world from destructive Gods grown impatient.

◇ Kotai Moshonora, Rising — Soon to be given a more original title (when I think of one). Follows the story of Kotai Moshonora, a boy who becomes the catalyst for the complete reconstruction of hero society as a whole when he becomes a prime example that even those unanimously adored can manipulate society's trust and bury much darker secrets. (MHA/BNHA OC fic)
◇ DANGANRONPA V3 Fanfiction — What it says on the tin. V3 is my favorite of the Danganronpa games, and I write for either SaiOumota (Shuichi Saihara, Kokichi Ouma, Kaito Momota) all together in a polyamorous ship, or variations of the three, such as SaiOuma, SaiMota, or Oumota. (I may share my fanfic account after I can provide some evidence that my writing has drastically improved since then.)

I didn't used to have many OCs. Just the one, really. And then my partner came along and offered that I could create an OC for his book. And then we got very invested in that OC. And then he asked me to make another. One became two. Two became five. I have quite a few OCs now, and none of them are normal.
Without giving away too much crucial lore, these are the general summaries of my OCs, and hopefully soon I can create thumbnail art of each of them to include here.
◇ Kotai Moshonora (MHA/BNHA) — A very meek and sheltered boy who slowly comes into his own after sneakily applying himself to the prestigious hero training academy U.A. High and somehow getting accepted! Kotai is a very curious and bright character who gets his joy out of helping others and envies for the same in return. His quirk aloows him to produce and telekinetically control flat crytals from his palms, making him a naturally formidable long-range opponent. He's quite dense and easily startled, but his compassion and gentle heart are unwavering ♡
6'1 and born on July 27th, Kotai has a severe sweet tooth and enjoys drawing, spending time with his friends, and walking outdoors — but the surprising way straight to his heart? Voice Claim: Hunter (The Owl House)
◇ Alonzo Hollowmoore (ORIGINS) — Feared across nations for his erratic and impulsive behaviors and the joy he takes in cold-blooded murder, this Arachnid boy was picked up off the streets at the young age of 13 by a terrorist group called The Kin, encouraging his already damaged and deranged mental state. Riddled with unsettling twitches and constantly muttering to seemingly nobody, Alonzo's instability is a consistent source of unease to the general public.
5'3 and born on March 14th, Alonzo takes amusement in pestering and upsetting his peers as often as he can, though he has little to no patience when the shoe is on the other foot. He's extremely swift and doesn't hesitate to pull the trigger on one of his many beloved firearms, making him one of The Kin's most powerful forces.
Voice Claim: Kokichi Ouma (Danganronpa V3)
◇ Ian Rune (ORIGINS) — Born next in line to the royal throne of the End Kingdom, Ian had long since been dissatisfied with his circumstances. Chaotic fits of anger overtook him at an early age, leaving him estranged from his family and the people of his kingdom as a whole. Eventually, curious Ian decided he didn't want to put up with the isolation any longer. And why should he have to when a portal to the little-explored outside world of Nalthis was just within arm's reach?
7'4 and born on December 9th, Ian is an explorer at heart. From stories to food to traditions, Ian loves to experience every culture possible. He is incredibly stubborn, especially protective of those he loves.
Voice Claim: Salesperson ENA (ENA: Dream BBQ)
◇ Caspian Rafferty (ORIGINS) — Preferring to go by his last name as opposed to inheriting the name Caspian from his father, Rafferty is a Siren from the infamously cannibalistic Siren Islands. The sudden death of his best friend left the already sarcastic and blunt Rafferty in a deep, long-lasting state of isolation and depression. He has little to no tolerance for other people and spends most of his time in solitude.
5'8 and born on March 22nd, Rafferty purposefully estranges himself from those around him out of fear of experiencing again the same grief that destroyed his life to return, opting to socialize only with local fish... Or at least that was the case.
Voice Claim: Till (Alien Stage)
◇ Mavros Blythe (ORIGINS) — A generous offer from a wealthy family looking to hire took Mavros from the life of a poor, homeless boy into a life of luxury and privilege. His innately polite and gentle nature made him the perfect choice for looking after the family's newborn, and despite various struggles that come with the job, Mavros got his joy in raising and supporting that wealthy family's child. That is, until a terrible accident took his life and left his unfulfilled soul a wandering ghost for centuries to come.
5'9 and born on November 1st, Mavros enjoys tea, idle chatting, and walks through nature. His forced isolation caused him to grow a bit socially inept, although his gentle kindness never eroded.
Voice Claim: Hazel (Watership Down)
◇ Tiago Rune (ORIGINS) — Born in the ancient and all-powerful End kingdom, commoner Tiago's entire life was put off-balance when the heavy Enderian-Shulk segregation of the time prevented him and the love of his life (a shulk named Esmeray) from being together. An increase on restrictions to interracial contact pushed Tiago to his breaking point, and in search of freedom with his love, Tiago led the End Kingdom's very first revolution against their tyrant, the great Ender Dragoness.
6'5 and born on June 24th, Tiago's strong sense of justice and rigid moral compass make him a valiant defender not only against tyranny, but a strong human rights advocate overall. Although he is extremely socially challenged and often appears cold and uninterested, Esmeray is quick to reassure people that a soft heart lies just underneath the surface.

◇ B̷̛͍͓͓̜͗̈́̎̆a̷̢̗̰͕̪͇̞̒̽́͒͠͠ś̴̥̋͋͆͜î̵̡̪̼̍͐l̶̛͇͉͙̫͈̩̹̟͂̈͋͘ Null the Void (ORIGINS) — One of several Greatest Beings divinely ruling over the world of Nalthis. Null found itself deemed the God of Chaos and Apathy after waking up in the afterlife with no memory of how it got there. It can't recall its previous name or life whatsoever — instead all it harbors from its past are the deep yet overwhelming senses of rage and bitterness. These residual griefs gave way to Null's extremely apathetic nature and earned it its place as a Greatest Being.
Its shapeshifting abilities allow for varying height, and its date of birth is unknown. Null opts not to fraternize with its fellow deities unless it's for the sake of furthering its agenda of incessant chaos and anarchy. ◇ Caius McCain (Mouthwashing) — Caius is the eldest of 5 siblings, all born to a very work-oriented couple who spent much of their time on business trips, leaving Caius juggling a younger sister, a twin sister and brother, and a baby sister from a young age. Caius was embedded with a deeply rooted sense of responsibility and independence, and after he moved out a job opportunity opened up for crew members on a vessel called the Tulpar transporting high-value goods through space, and with nothing left to lose, Caius took the job.
5'7 and born on December 21st, Caius is naturally laid-back, though he relies heavily on routine. He's kindhearted and prefers to keep moreso to himself, except in the case of his cat back home, a support cat for his OCD named Muffin who he spoils endlessly.

A while back I kept seeing a trend of people photobashing different Nendoroids to make a figure of their OC. I haven't seen anyone do it in a minute but I remembered it recently ssssoooo the past week I've designed a Kotai nendoroid!!!
Started off with an Izuku figure, recolored and adjusted the hair, made the tie longer, removed the backpack that was on the original figure, recolored the shoes, added Kotai's little fluffy hair tufts under his ears, made his skin a bit paler (cuz my boy isn't used to the sunshine), added his teeth gaps, and the eyes are drawn from scratch, referenced from a Persona 5 figure.
I love how he looks so much, he's so adorable and it looks so much like him! Very proud of the result :))
still working on rewriting. I have a lot of fun writing the Hassaikai arc so that's where most of my focus has been lately with some post-hassaikai also. I've also been drawing Kotai a lot so I can share some doodles in the meantime :)
trying to redesign his hero costume is hard. I just got bored with the old one and it's also pretty out of character for him to wear something THAT skimpy. Also want more crystal motifs to be included. Still working on that though :)
