I really enjoyed this summer and while there's still much more to go, I'm ever so grateful for meeting Dick.

He's given me a lot of great experiences and I had never even gone swimming at a lake before him. Last year, I had only dreamt of spending my hottest days near the water and it never happened. It feels surreal doing that now.

It's such a therapeutic experience and honestly I think this is one of the best summers of my life. I haven't been this happy since summer of when I was 13. For the first time in my entire life, I feel both safe and happy with a man and that shit is a trip.

You do generally become more at peace with existing once you stop caring what everyone else is doing or into or how they feel about things.

Once you detach yourself from the concept of moralizing others and realizing you can just not like those people and also still not care, it's such a high.

Am I a part of the community? No.

Some people are just too messy for my taste and more often than not, it seems the majority doesn't know how to be interested in the subject and simultaneously take it seriously, let alone respect the victims of it. I don't want to be associated with that kind of behavior just because I like it myself.

Am I into true crime? Absolutely, and proudly so. My favorite cases are probably Columbine, The Oklahoma bombing, The Boston marathon, Halifax / Valentine's Day conspiracy, The Waco cult, and many more miscellaneous cases you probably don't know about because they weren't considered a spectacle.
