#my rambling #my beautiful throuple #this is to balance out how many posts i've been making about silverflint #shout out to a comment i saw somewhere on reddit that thought jack and anne had a “sibling”-like relationship #“you and I are gonna be partners till they put us in the fucking ground” - this made me really relieved for jack and anne #and then i was flabbergasted that ppl out there interpreted it as a “break up” for them #tbh i think it's beautiful that there's so many ways you can interpret this conversation and their relationship #but to me they both romantic and platonic love each other #anne just realized she's sexually attracted to women (aka max)#and she never “owed” her life to max so she felt free of that burden #also she's removing herself from the traditional image of being a “wife” to a husband (aka what jack had saved her from)

it's very compelling to me that silver only knows flint as his current self he's awful and irredeemable, and yet...

#my rambling #somewhat related to my previous reblog #“no one wants your man”#that's the case now but he was loved #and he loved to the point of devastation #this is “childhood friends to lovers” - aka “they knew each other before X became terrible and evil” - slander #i actually don't dislike “childhood friends to lovers” that much #only in the context of it being used when the dynamic was introduced as antagonistic #why are you removing my seasoning #i want them to be drawn to each other as they are now (“evil”)#not because they were buddies a long time ago and one of them can see a glimmer of the other's “old” self #although tbh i could always be convinced if the writing is good

I love reading fanfics where one character is tagged as jealous, but their partner is unlovable to anyone but them. Like.. calm down, sweetheart, no one wants your man. We're still trying to figure out why you want your man.
