kumo - the northern water tribe wrongly refused to let him learn to waterbend as a child so he pulled an uno reverse, came out as trans, and decided to become a master waterbender and kiss boys with his middle fingers up

natalie green - adopted daughter of sapphic supervillains who is in NO WAY a hero, she just wants to go to college but noo there's suddenly 12 new kids who need an older sister figure and SOMEONE has to rise to the challenge

alice delaney - strange child with an affinity for raccoons who are in no way native to her country and also climbing into windows of boarding schools that are definitely not her own

eleanor cunningham - teenage girl redeemed of her blondeness due to her lesbianism which did unfortunately kill her in the end because everyone knows we can’t have nice things

andrew spencer - complicated relationship with both his dad and alcohol made it impossible for him to function normally but that’s fine because the heat death of the universe is kind of happening in his backyard

i really want to draw a how to train your dragon x trollhunters au, like jim, claire and toby as dragon riders. but i've never known the httyd lore as well as i have trollhunters lore, so i don't know too much about the various species of dragons

which dragons/dragon classes would trollhunters characters ride?

ohhh this is a good question. my httyd brainworms shall FEAST

-i think jim would vibe with a crimson goregutter. i feel like at first glance, you'd assume something flashier and cooler and more "huntery," but i honestly think jim just has so much going on in his life as a trollhunter that he'd vibe best with a calmer dragon. the crimson goregutter is literally described as a "gentle giant." despite this, they are super powerful since they spew molten lava, have huge horns and a bludgeony tail, and are, you know, massive. i think the crimson goregutter's larger size than the average dragon would also pair well with jim, who's used to being around large trolls and other magical beings. the crimson goregutter belongs to the boulder class.

-toby, i see him pretty undeniably with a snifflehunch. they're very friendly, curious dragons, named after the fact they can use their sniffing to determine whether an individual is friendly or, well, not. they also use their sense of smell to determine their surroundings and sense oncoming storms. i think toby would be the type to develop a very close bond with his dragon and rely on it heavily, trusting it with important matters without much question, and the snifflehunch seems like the type of dragon who would be perfect for that. overall, very friendly dragons, and desperately loyal if treated correctly. very much the type of dragon that would vibe with toby. the snifflehunch belongs to the tracker class.

-claire is a little trickier. it's easy to see her with so many dragons. razorwhips, for their deadly nature and women-preferring tendencies. death grippers, for their loyalty and prowess in battle. deadly nadders, for their skill and firepower. but honestly, i think i see claire best with a dramillion. they have the ability to mimic any dragon fire they encounter, which is not only incredibly useful, but also reminds me of claire's early-established interest in acting. they're also highly intelligent and social dragons, much like claire herself. they're great with pattern recognition and genuinely capable of planning out detailed attacks, especially if accompanied by other dramillions, as they are usually pack dragons. also, a lot of them are purple, so right up claire's alley. the dramillion belongs to the mystery class :3

anddd, yeah! i hope this answers your question, i'm a httyd FIEND and love to think about crossover potential. already imagining eli and steve dragon potential.... ;3
