Color theory project

This is one of the largest projects I’ve had in art next to that artist shoe project I posted a while back. I did everything traditionally. Looking back on it I can’t tell if that saved me or I just shot myself in the foot, because basically we had to just do an art piece of some kind with the required colors to prove we knew how to use them.

Long story long, we were told to do this digitally, but we couldn’t use the program that we used on the old school laptops, the reason being we have chrome books. Almost NOTHING is compatible with them, so we were stuck using this program that it’s brushes resembled tux paint. I tried getting Inkscape, the only digital art program I can work with, but with how that went down it must be incompatible

Anyways some of this is fanart for Seventhtale, which belongs to @silvurgalaxies !

Apologies for the long wait on activity for this blog. But I think it's time we pick up from where we left off, yeah?

Okay, I have a question. In Seventhtale, the sins turn back to normal if they remember their names, right? Sloth knows that the other Sanses are him, and while they have nicknames the rest still have the name Sans. Sloth is really observant despite his laziness, so he should have figured this out, so why hasn’t he changed back? @silvur-trash

Sloth knows his name was Sans. He’s not stupid, he did figure it out. He just has to remember to say it when addressing himself. That part has been taken away from him, hence his curse. Like a secret name. He can’t say it in reference to himself. It’s like he’s completely forgotten how to say it. He’s tried multiple times. “I am Sans.” he tries to say often. But it works like an autocorrect because of the curse, so that statement becomes “I am Sans Sloth.” and it’s extremely prominent when he was first cursed. If he tries to refer to the other sins, the same thing happens. “Thats Papyrus Pride” he might try to say. It only works when he’s addressing another sin. If he tries to refer to himself in that way, it comes out as Sloth. Every single time, and there are no loopholes. It will always come out as Sloth no matter what he says. 

For example, addressing another Sans, like Techno it would come out as: 

“Yep, that’s Techno Sans.” and there would be no corrections. It’s only for the sins, Sloth just can’t address himself that way. So he just goes by his cursed name. 

He will remember his name when he performs an act of diligence in the Judgement Hall. And it has to be in the Judgement Hall. What this act is, that’s unknown to you all as of now. When he does this, the curse will be lifted and ??? happens. Hopefully I’ll be reworking a bit more on SeventhTale soon, especially with the 1 year mark ahead. I’ve been busy rewriting and planning some things, so I hope it’ll come out on time!

Finally done! This took awhile, here is the first of the new SeventhTale References! Sloth!Sans Been meaning to make this reference for a really long time, took around…I’d say 3 hours. I had to separate this between two days cause I started this late last night. I love the massive style change between this ref and the other one. At least he’s not sharing his ref with Pride and Frisk anymore. All the new references will contain just the character themselves, not be in groups of two or three like last time.

I didn’t change him too much, just changed his eye color and his jacket around, to me he still looks the same. He owns two jackets and switches between the two. The one he’s wearing now is the one he’s gonna wear most often.

SeventhTale will be going on a small hiatus for a little while, as we are revamping it! The designs will be changed, but the plot will remain the same! During this time, we will be working on designing the characters, environments, redoing the layout of the blog and other important things. Asks will be on hold for the time being!

I am trying to redo alot of the old designs and have a basis down, also better quality art for future reference. When I first started this blog I didn't have a basis set, and I want to make sure I get this stuff done because I didn't do it before

We'll be here, you can continue to send questions, just ones directed at characters will not be answered until the redesigns are done. Thank you! We hope to have some of the redesigns out soon!

alright I’ve decided

I’m gonna redo a lot of the designs for SeventhTale. Cause’ the current refs are old art and look awful. Some of the designs might be revamped too, since the current ones are just…gross to me. Most of it will stay the same, like their personalities and everything. But like some of them, like Chara’s design I just dislike and I’ll be remaking.

yeah I dunno, but that’s gonna be my main focus for now haha
