I am reading my posts and I get a jumpscare whenever I cuss. Im deleting those posts too. Also, I wanted to write a writing prompt of severussy.
Green, gray and yellow. Green, gray and yellow. Green, gray and yellow. Green, gray and yellow.
He couldn't hear the difference. But it was the only difference he is reminded of at his new house. It isn't grey but gray here. The three most dominant colors of his life. Ironically fitting his Slytherin background. Silver is deprived from the color gray after all.
Severus unloads his groceries from his car. A car of his dead aunt he never met. He climbs the porch. A porch his dead grandpa built around, whom he never met. Searches the keys. Old classical keys with block-like build. Not the fancy thin ones with diagonal teeth. To enter a house, of his great grandparents he never met, that are also death.
Combined with the field he gets lost in often. Where the grass grows yellow to reach the hip. All this, was inherited, by the death of his father. It originally would've gone to him. But the night he celebrated his inheritance, the man drank a bottle too many. Landing this whole thing in his lap.
Eileen convinced him to stay with her. To look after that house. He would've. He wouldn't leave his mother alone. Especially not move to a foreign country known for its idiocy across the globe. But then she began to cherish the things of him. Why him? Why? Why would she do that? They are finally free.
It made him sit down and stare at the letter of inheritance. Fancy curly letters and stamps. His name is written fully. Severus Snape. He had just turned 18 then. Christmas vacation in hogwarts. He still had half a year left. That day, he began to think. Write all the pros and cons. Eventually leading him to question something horrifying. For whom did he stay?
He stayed.... but for his mom. He continued to go to school... to proof others. On that journey he lost her. But nothing was for himself was it? That night, he left her. Did he even write a letter? He doesn't know. His heart was trying to escape through the windpipe. His lung squeezing too much air than they let in. His mind willfully blacking out whenever. His head crushing that brain like a walnut, especially around the temple area.
Gladly, he didn't cry. He felt like he kept his dignity as a man. Albus placed him back with his mom when he tried to show up. The downside of it all. The man is working against him. Eileen even tried to get rid of that beautiful estate letter. Telling the lawyer that it wasn't fair. She needs her son. Did he hang out with people? He does not know. Did he try his best in class? What classes did he even get again? What, why, when, where, how? Nothing came to mind.
He left her again after graduation. This time it worked. Now, as looks at the field, swaying in the wind of a brewing storm. He sips his coffee. One of his female students offered him this sweetness once. Lots of sugar and it was a sweet gesture. She was a troublesome one. Always talking back, fighting back but she and her troubles and thanked him for putting up with her nonsense and outbursts.
The coffee was a small gift. She gave him an expensive watch. The woman she has become now, still greets him when they meet in that small town. She is a single mom but her kids adore the living out of her. She even threatens him for the chaotic life he soon will enter when her kids enter. Merlin, have mercy. Like her, he has many similar students.
Drinking this sweetness, reminds him that he could do good. He did good. And could do that good again, and again, and again, and again, no matter what. As long as he has this peace he could return to. His home. His property. Being alone.
He nearly drops when an owl flies against his window. Dropping a letter. But, the wind blows it away just as quickly. Only then he forgot to breathe and inhales a big portion of air through the mouth.
Next day, a letter is now in his mail. A fancy one he never gets. He reads -Albus- and it went straight into the fireplace. Then as if that feel like a demon from the past making a call. The Devil himself decided to write him a letter. James potter.
His stomach churning with all wretched things and memories he buried awaken like a bad horror movie flick. He was lucky, the school he teaches at, allows their teachers to return home by using the fireplace to be whisked away. So everytime the school ends, be dreads going home. Their letters have multiplied by the worse.
Snape knew he had to call in for help and use the aurors to confront these assholes. Which he did. The letters eventually vanish completely. But the peace never truly returned. Now, without letters he feels watched. It isn't like that at all. But without the letters, he doesn't know what their plan is. He never bothered to read them.
Promising himself to at least open one of them. Its Remus. He didn't write anything. It's blank. Without thinking, the letter crumbles in his now clenched fist. He tears the others open. All blank!!! How dare they, he mutters.
They have the filthy nerve to still prank him even though a bloody decade has gone past! In pure rage he nearly burnt his house down by showing all these letters at once in the hearth. It would've burnt down if it wasn't for magic. His magic. He drags himself to bed. Unwilling to sleep but what else?
He drifts away. Landing in the black hallways, somehow still shiny by some source of light. Their laughter puts him in the flight situation. But what he is running from. He has no idea. Where the sound is coming from? He doesn't know.
Snape hits walls, jingles doors blended in the shadows, trips and falls over air. Reaching a corner. He has no wand and makes himself smaller, hoping to not be seen. Facing the corner as he curls. His raven black hair, falling over this shoulders, disappearing into the midnight black robe.
His body shakes as their laughter closes in. The hurried steps, slow down. It could be a coincidence that it stops right behind him. They do noth- their hands lands on their shoulder. Was it out of place for him to not move at all cost? Now he was frozen in place. Their hands roam over his back and shoulders. One eventually crept forward to his frontside of the body. Curling around his neck and moving up the jawline.
Snapping his head to look up. But nothing.
Severus rubs his head when he wakes up on the floor. Pushing himself in bed again. Drinking a glass of water. Morning comes, and there is another letter.
Wasn't she married to Potter?
Didn't she have a child already?
She made him promise to never talk to each other again.
Did something happen to his mom?
Is she even staying in contact with his mom?
Are things horrible in London with the death eaters?
Do the aurors need help from a potionsman?
Reasonable but worrisome questions piled but all struggled to grasp his attention. He did not read it until he came back from work. Today was a shit day at school. One kid threw an apple at him and another kid gave him a charm bracelet. Full of pink and glittery beads.
A bag is thrown across the table, hitting the vase which falls and breaks and it infuriates him even more. Before he rushed, he takes a deep breath. Last thing he needs is to hit his foot and have a full out melt down. He crouches to clean the floor and shards. Her letter, now soaked. Forgetting about his promise to himself, he reads the content of the letter and looks at the time.
On his way out, he did stub his toe against the doorframe. Cursing any god on his way to the car. As much haste he has to make. He is taking his sweet time on the road. Cruising around the bends and turns. Parks his car outside the local church. Abandoned and becoming one with poison by creeping through each nook and cranny. Moon cast various shadows on the surfaces as an owl hoots in the distance.
He mentally prepares himself to go inside. Leaving a voice mail of the headmistress her phone. Severus Snape will be mourning the loss of his mother for the upcoming 2 weeks. He needs 1 week to be exact. There wasn't a lot to be repaired. But the system of wizardry London was a stinking system. Everything somehow became twice as slow to be approved or disapproved. And his mom probably kept all the things of his father which took twice as much time.
No! He shouldn't complain as he is about to see the dead woman. He opens the door and multiple people were already inside. Severus lowers his head, walking to the casket but a hand on his shoulders shook him out it. 'Sev, you made it.'
He brushes her hand off his own shoulder. 'I have to. Just to see if it is real.'
Snape didn't dislike her. But she felt foreign. Not a single thing in their past made sense. Shrinks aren't all that bad. He leans closer to the casket. Why did she have to die here? Was she brought here? Who are all these people? But then he sees it. Why is nobody in the casket. A few pair of hands shove him in. Gag his mouth and tie hie hands then his feet.
With wide eyes, he looks at Lily. 'I am sorry sev. I knew you would come only for this. We can go back to how things were. Your mom misses you. You have nobody here. Why stay here?'
She keeps on talking but the four faces stunned his body. 'Those eyes...' Sirius murmurs lost. He sighs and ties a blindfold. James moves the body with efficency in a more comfortable spot.
'Kidnapping a bride.... so old school but sometimes an evil must.' They put him in the car. And drove off. Spell wore off on the people loitering around in this place at night.
What a recognizable yet agitating voice. 'You died.'
'Why did Evans tell me that then?' She is quiet.
Someone enters the room, talking a bit too loudly above their whisper like voices. 'It was a prank.'
'Ha ha, how funny. If you haven't died yet. Let me go to work.' He tries to push beyond them. This had to be some type of new nightmare. But instead of walking to school in your undies, you talking to the ghosts of the pasts.
A hand grips his hair, he opens his mouth 'ow' silenced by his lips. Violent and direct. Severus hits his head against the bed post.
Fist of his lands on Black's cheek. That same anger flashed in his eyes, pushing him on the floor. 'Screw you all! You can't even allow me a moment of joy! Fuck you!' He cried through tears. Wrestling himself out of the man's grips. The sudden noise on the staircase only sounded brief before they suffocated him unconscious again.
Green, gray and yellow. Green, gray and yellow. Green, gray and yellow. Green, gray and yellow.
The woman he befriended tricked him. His mother sold him. Severus could wake up 10 times more but his sight never returned. Imagining and pretending he is there again. Its must by summer by now. His fingers tingles at the sensation of brushing the grass of his property once more. It was his. He never had something as his. Now, by law, he was apparently theirs. 'You don't know what we went through.'
'Somehow I magically would care after fucking my life up for 7 years right? Sounds completely logical. Tell me the next thing you blame me for.'
'Oh, I made your goddamn trigger finger itch to jinx me at school whenever you saw my ugly mug? I am sorry for being born with a sewer rat face.'
'I am sorry for even daring to bloody think of the goddman idea to be befriended to your fairy princess.'
'Or was it my house. My bad. I should've known i had no rights to even imagine myself in green and silver. What could a filthy halfblood like me find there anyway. I am sorry, Potter.'
'Listen!' Severus hears the source and smacks a heavy book against James his face. Waiting for the impact. Bollocks. He now won't even hit like a man.
James breathes sharply and looks at Severus again. He puts on his glasses and sits down. He's thankful to Peter and Remus that helped him catch this wildfire. 'You know we have a bond.'
Potter scoffs, his shoulders shake with a chuckle escaping his miserable form. Wiping the tears away. 'A bond cannot be broken. You put us up for death basically. I was hospitalised when you broke our bond without my permission. Without sirius his permission.'
Even in blindness, Severus manages to always avoid eye contact with him. Sneering 'I was more hoping it finished the job. Imagine me sad when I got your filthy letters.'
'Well, you're ours by law, Snivellus. Soon, your nightly duties will start too. We are simply selling your property and shutting down your job.' James didn't even finish that sentence when his bond grabbed his arm. Squeezing it, stealing his warmth with his own cold pale hand.
For the first time, he looks at the lunatic. Tries to at least. James slowly moved his head to where Severus was looking at. A slight shift. Just that. 'Please don't sell it. It is mine! You have no rights to sell it!'
'But we do. Taking into account that what you did falls under capital crime. Putting lives in danger. And bonds.... bonds are important across the entire world, severus. But since you kept that piece of information a secret. They didn't know who to believe. Siding with the victim. You, the liar. I doubt they will trust any more words coming from you.' Severus shook him to not do it. But James pushes him away. A bit too hard that the man stumbles back and toppled down with the table.
'You can't do this to me. Why do you punish me for.... for being alive.' He shouts. James stops and groans against his better judgement. His time in Mundos somehow invited asylum workers in his system. Because breaking a bond brought all kinds of mental illnesses along. But there was no real difference. That was the magical of it all! He felt no difference than when Severus told him that he yearned for Slytherin.
Not that he told anyone. Just some ache in the body here and there. And of course the immense surprise that Severus truly left them behind. Like a bad after taste after trying something new. Like a pile of shit, ready to be picked up by someone else. He presses Severus his shoulders painfully. Whispering 'If you don't start behaving then, we might spare that garbage hut of yours. But I mean truly behave. Be the most obedient and pliable thing you saw on porn or whatever the shut cleared a load with.'
Severus nods, touching James his face. Which only annoyed him until soft lips pressed against his. James pushed him back against the floor. Not knowing what to do with Severus his hands. But his mind was taken over by the kiss. Its happening! Its finally happening. He must have blue berries for balls at this point, holding everything back.
Hips of his grinds against Severus. Forcing the legs open. Tearing the first two buttons off of the shirt. 'Wait, wait'
'Severus. Read the goddamn room. I want you.'
'Use my mouth then! No way am I going to let you in just like that. You must b-'
James pushes him back down. Really looking at him. Merlin on a stick. Severus could work as a tramp and still rise to the top. He leans in peppers kisses all over his face, murmuring deeply from his gut. 'I am sorry.'
'You being alive was not the problem.'
Snape still frowns at him. Unable to see the endearing smile of James pointed at him. This counts as a step right? His skin burns when their bond is rewritten on it. Like hot iron being pressed in his flesh. Severus smells the burning meat. Knowing they can't cook for shit. He allows for now, James to hug him. Touchy bastard.
Sirius basically begged him on his knees to also kiss him. Let him feel the way James did. Slowly but surely pulling down Severus his trousers. 'For fuck's sake, Black. We are in the garden. Have some class will you!?'
'Class be damned, sniv. I actually did go through things. James charmed the fuck out of everything. I got nearly my brain scrambled because you felt prissy and left.' He remembers watching james laugh things off and have decent conversations with those avada kedavra corpses.
His brains had wires, needles near his eyes, skin pricked here and there. He forces Severus to open his eyes and lifts the spell. 'You look uglier than when I left you, give me back the blindness.'
Sirius snorts, slowly taking off Severus his pants. James must have really gotten through to him. Good. Teamwork makes the dream work. He then unbuttons the white blouse. His luck triggers the bloody rain storm. But Severus keeps him there. 'Continue Black. If you have it. Maybe you can let go of me then. I know you will.'
'And why would I let you ever leave?' He teases. Settling between his pulled up legs. Nipping the skin as he carries sev under a tree to continue.
'You and him took my youth, my dream, my peace.... when I hand you my dignity. You would have everything. You two always wished to own everything. You even threatened to conviscate my house when you two live in mansions. So it must be my dignity you're after. Only thing I have.' Sirius took it. Their noises died down in the heavy downpour.
'I want this... for always. For decades until it won't even get hard anymore and I then I still.... You cannot leave, sev. Not even after you've offered your dignity now.' Severus didn't cry. He just watches the back bleed of Sirius when the marks reappear.
'You.... i made sure the marks were removed.'
Sirius gently pushes him back down, by leaning into him more. Using his own hand to cushion Severus his head. 'It wasn't worth getting it back.'
'You should also stop calling me sniv or snivellus.'
'You don't seem bothered.'
'Because I still see you both as a pile of shits. If a pile of shit calls you incest fuck, would you react?'
'I would say "huh? A pile of shit is talking to me? Is it real? Or just one of my new friends? It probably wouldn't get along with my friend, couch." Or something.' Severus throws his head back and laughs. He can already see Sirius looking back and forth and pointing at himself. To know for sure that pile of shit is talking to him and not the others.
'But fine, I won't call you that. What would our children think?'
'I am happy with just one tiny little fluff ball of black hair. Ja-'
'I! Fuck! Okay.... okay, a child. How hard can it be. But I will demand my own self vacations Black. I want at least once a year my three weeks to myself. No kids, no fuckers.'
Sirius his smile slips. 'We don't have to kids now. We don't have to. It was a joke.'
'Terrible one.' Severus snaps.
'I do make terrible ones sometimes.'
'Enough self loathing. Get off of me already.'
Sirius remains where he is. Grinding against his lover. To see his reactions. 'The rain is still going hard, can I go for round 2?'
'Ugh, fine. But I am keeping you here.' His body shivers when Sirius moves away. The cold overtaking his body. He didn't need to ask him for cuddling. Black pulls him close. Severus asks half asleep why he hasn't seen Eileen and Lily. Sirius informed him that they weren't needed anymore now that they have him. But he didn't truly heard it. Just a whisper drowned in the rain.
Severus looks out of his property. Its his holiday now, away from the family. The kids are with their dads. Again, a storm is brewing.
Green, grey and yellow. Green, grey and yellow. Green, grey and yellow. Green, grey and yellow.
