A comforting, creamy chicken filling that has been slow-cooked to perfection and is great for making a meal by putting it between two buns.
Ingredients: 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts. 1 can cream of chicken soup. 1/2 cup chicken broth. 1/2 cup sour cream. 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese. 1 teaspoon garlic powder. 1 teaspoon onion powder. Salt and pepper to taste. 8 sandwich buns.
Instructions: Put chicken breasts in the crock pot. Add sour cream, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper to a bowl and mix in the cream of chicken soup and chicken broth. Put the mix on top of the chicken breasts. When the chicken is done, cover it and cook on low for 6 to 8 hours or high for 3 to 4 hours. Fork-shred the chicken after it's done cooking and mix it well with the creamy sauce in the slow cooker. If you want, you can toast the sandwich buns. Put together sandwiches by covering each bun with a lot of the creamy chicken mixture. Enjoy while hot!
