in theory my favorite ever fanfic cliche is the group of people somehow witness either by video or by some magical intervention one of their friends' lowest, most traumatic moments. i think about it often. unfortunately it was most often used as a simplistic hurt/comfort trope rather than a way to further traumatize the person through humiliation, forced vulnerability, and continued loss of autonomy. so most fics with this premise didn't really get to the core of what i enjoy about the idea.

I do think frank would look good tied to a bed, spread open, with his eyes blindfolded, ears plugged, and mouth gagged. actively blacked out on benzos, so he's aware but can't control and won't remember anything that happens next. I do think that.
