Coma baby is such a good fic! However it’s understandable if you decide to discontinue it. The chapters are always so long and I understand why writing them could be stressful. I’m sure people will be understanding with whatever you decide! (Just tell us who the father was if it’s going to be discontinued. 👀)

since it's been over a year and i know for sure i won't be finishing the fic, i'll just share the file with all the scenes i had already (sorta) planned out. it was def a project of heart for a long time but i just took too long and i'm not really active in the fandom anymore, so i'll try to find an ending with it this way.

it was supposed to be a happy ending with dabitwice as the endgame and tomura as the biological father but out of the picture. the notes are pretty messy and idk how much sense some of them make to anybody else but yeah, that's everything there was supposed to be to coma baby. thanks to everyone who enjoyed the fic, commented and sent me kind messages on here, loved to work on it while it lasted.

I personally wanna see less 'you are not a burden/it's not work to love you' and more 'you are worth the work it takes to love you.' I KNOW I'm a burden sometimes. that isn't such a terrible thing! humans are strong. we can carry burdens. and it is work for me to be there for my friends, but it's work I'm willing to do.

we need to acknowledge this because pretending love isn't work will never make people like me feel less guilty for accepting love. we need to talk about it so people don't feel bad for having boundaries and not always being up to do the work. we need to accept it so we can properly appreciate what others do for us and what we're doing for them.

yes it does take work to love you. but guess what? you still deserve love, and you deserve people who are willing to do the work to love you. it doesn't make you bad. all love take work. and everyone is worth it.

viewing queer identities as “this is the label that makes me happy and feels most accurate now” rather than “this is who I am, was, and always will be” will definitely take the pressure off, friends. changing your mind is proof that you have one.

every few days i see some tweet or something saying “i just found out that ___ is a symptom of trauma” and it’ll be like getting shivers or rewatching movies or enjoying hot showers. even if it was all true i can’t imagine what seeing that stuff all the time would make me think if i was a teenager. at an age when you’re clamoring so much for identity it seems like we’re encouraging young people to identify with suffering just a little too much
