CALL ME CRAZY. But, Nicki was probably looking up horrified at that theatre box cause Armand , Lestat, and Gabriella were having a 3 way. In the books Gabby and lestat both "kissed" and "embraced" Armand (at the same time). So... it's possible.

Armand probably wasn’t even phased by Gabriella/ lestat’s dynamic : because his own foster dad (Marius) called him “son” while grooming him. Also, Armand already hooked up with a parent/son (in a theatre in the 1940s) . So, I would not be surprised if something similar happened in the past.

I hope I'm wrong (but it would not surprise me, if that were the case).
