Can we please not fight in the Adler tag again 😭😭😭 this fandom fights more than any other fandom.

Like yall have good points a lot of the time, but it just turns into nasty arguments and insults, and gets carried away from the main point anyways. It splits the fandom and then we get no good actual content for like a month because like 4 ppl are fighting but they drag everyone into it. It just turns into a mess of accusations for no reason, and vaguely aimed posts, and ruining ppls accounts and reputations for no reason.

(Also I saw someone refer to some of the behavior as obsessive compulsive, I won’t tag them because I don’t wanna start a fight or name call, because it’s not too big of a deal, but it kinda hurt. That’s not OCD, and it’s kinda hurtful as someone who has it to trivialize it like that. I promise OCD doesn’t make you tweak on the Adler tag. It actually ruins lives. I’m not trying to call anyone out or anything, I just wanna remind ppl that it’s serious, same with being a psychopath. I promise the ppl doing this are probably not psychopaths, but I mean idk them🤷‍♀️)

Also, saying this while some people genuinely hurt themselves because of their OCD looks kinda ableist to me. I know not much about the disorder but the thoughts can be terrifying to have.

This fandom has had ‘discourses’ about Bell and what they really are and about Adbell since like 2025??? If im not mistaken. I unfortunately dont think it’ll ever end

hey let’s be kind and not tag things in a targeted way or take sides on this post. The whole point of the post I made is to not blame either side and ask BOTH to stop fighting. On the OCD part, as someone with OCD I don’t see it as ableist, I just think it stems from a misunderstanding of the disorder and perhaps some ignorance, hence why I just explained that that’s not what it is, since sometimes social media can trivialize it, and obviously most people don’t deep dive into every mental disorder. There’s no need to throw around insults, like I said earlier.

Happy Fourth of July! in honor of the fourth, let’s get some Fourth of July head canons

Graves: everyone knows this one, big party with all the shadows, an insane amount of meat. Probably bought out a store’s entire sections

Woods: I feel like he wants to party hardy but he lowkey killed his best friend(😬) with whom he would hypothetically party with, so he probably just watches David and drinks

Adler: we know this man loves his country, but he probably doesn’t even know what holiday it is. So he probably just does what he normally does

Laswell has one sister and they’re not close at all, probably an old fight that never got resolved

Gaz is totally a brother raised by sisters to me, he was probably the baby to like 6 sisters, idk

Adler is the youngest of three, all boys. I like to think he’s the baby of them, maybe the shortest, so he overcompensates in the rest of his life

Alex Mason has one older sister, they’re not close but where when they were little and he misses it to this day

Keegan has two little sisters, he rarely sees them, but sees them more of like nieces

Park is definitely an only, probably her parents prized daughter

Lazar is probably the middle of a family of like 5 boys, definitely a chaotic household

Price had one older brother who was much older and they never grew close

it’s interesting how the songs add to the timeline, while im pretty sure Adler says it’s ‘68 in the Vietnam callback(meaning the song was just released) we don’t get a clear timeline for everuthint and the songs help add to that.

making a post abt some crappy Adler headcanons cause there’s no actual Adler content on the damn tag(stop fighting☹️)

• They’ve kinda mentioned this in game, but he definitely smokes expensive cig brands.

• He seems like he’d be a good swimmer

• I see a lot of ppl saying he’s a womanizer but I feel like he couldn’t care less for woman. He prob sleeps around when he gets the chance, but he’s not some Smooth Operator shit.

• He can’t cook, since he would have never been taught and only eats tv meals at home, since he won’t eat fast food.

• he seems like he’d have siblings, he doesn’t give off single child vibes.

• the reeks of cigarettes, he wears cologne but you can’t smell it.

• he was a boy scout as a kid, and had all the badges

•along those lines he loved camping.

•his family was probably stable, if not well off, hence his nicer tastes in things

cod ghosts was peak (recent ish)cod(outside of black ops 1 2 and cold war) and ima explain why

1: They started from scratch

cod games love to just play off the same damn characters, mason’s son being the next lead? His best friend being Woods but Guardians of the Galaxy edition? Genuinely dragging Woods out(we love him tho), using mind control as a theme in BO over and over and over and over, rebooting modern warfare, same criminal(kinda), same team, they can’t come up with anything new. Ghosts is something new, Ghosts not only had an entirely fictionally created antagonist, instead of just Russians, but it had a whole new team, with a whole new backstory, and a whole new goal.

2: they developed characters well.

Black ops and MW just rely on you already knowing the characters and their story, they’re minimally developed. Ghosts had completely new characters, were given a family, and eventually a team. I love Ghosts because you have a brother the whole time, you start off with your dad telling you a story. Then we join this team and the characters are developed, Keegan’s best friend dies, they struggle with their own teammate being turned against him.

3: there’s a story, a real, true story.

MW2 for example is part of a story, we get a couple characters thrown at us half assed, and a piece of a story you wouldn’t understand shit abt without playing the other games. Ghosts had everything, an exposition, a rising action, a climax, a falling action, and a resolution(minus the cheap attempt for a sequel) we learned the problem and the characters, the problem intensified, it reached a fever pitch and then “resolved.” You can play the game and JUST play the game.

Cod needs to bring back games like this. They need to branch out because that’s when they make quality. A quality game isn’t gonna be Black Ops 8000 and MW4, it’s gonna be the game they finally try on, and don’t just play it safe.

I like to stay out of drama but this bothers me:

why do people feel the need to address “underlying problems?” Like girl, it’s a fandom, everything’s imagined, there’s no “people mischaracterizing” like, it’s always Adler for example “he’s evil and you can’t make him a loving husband!” NEWSFLASH! HE’S A CHARACTER people can make him whatever they want, Adler could turn out to be fucking J-lo and do a god damn backflip! And people always get on the shit of like “well you read Adler wrong, he’s not this way so I don’t take you seriously” like hello?? I don’t even know you, so who cares, you’re not the ruler of all things Adler.

second people complaining about underlying racism, sexism, misogyny, homophobia. Like I understand those do exist, there are posts made that are blatantly racist, and homophobic and so on. But for the most part?? Like if you think people only like the white male characters maybe get off the tag for them and go make posts for the other characters?? Like I know my blog is usually on white male characters but i just favorite those characters, that doesn’t make me racists?? Just cause Graves says some mocking shit to Mexicans I’m not “internally racist” I’m a fucking Mexican?? I will admit some characters don’t get enough love, for example, Gaz, but sadly he’s kind of a token black guy and activision doesn’t really give him enough attention (I never played MW1 reboot so maybe they did in that, but from what I’ve seen he’s just there to be pretty). And for people calling out these words, it’s like the boy who cried wolf, like I don’t take the claims of racism, or homophobia, or whatever else seriously anymore because everyone says it 24/7 like I definitely care about those things but we’ve overused it so much. And I promise you I’m not any of those things, I’m Bi myself and a raging feminist.

overall I guess the point I’m trying to make is people are kinda just making up “underlying problems” because we’re bored and they want to seem deep and it is problematic(woah am I doing it too….) because we’re all becoming numb to this accusation. We should hear “that persons a racist” and all be very alarmed because THATS NOT OKAY but we’re pointing out things that aren’t racism, or whatever else, just because we’re bored.

like we don’t need to create discourse, we can all just draw hot ladies and gentlemen and write silly little blurbs. That’s the point of a fandom, not to fight. We’re supposed to be a little community, not blaming each other for “underlying” shit every second

btw this is aimed at nobody, I promise, like I’ve been seeing so many of these, and no hate to anyone who points these things out, but I just wish we could have more positive and less accusing additions to the fandom. Like I’m sure you all have wonderful ideas.

what I think random cod characters smell like

Adler: I feel like people never acknowledge this but he would smell overwhelmingly of cigarette smoke. And I feel like his clothes would smell like when you take clothes out from the bottom of the drawer, or a box, especially that sweater vest.

Woods: also cigarettes, he probably smells like sweat too, and like a musty corner

Graves: I feel like I’m gonna say they all smell like sweat, but he’d also smell like hotel bedsheets

Ghost: He’s British, so he’d smell like when you’re sweaty and you put deodorant over it so now you just smell sweat and deodorant and it’s really gross cause somehow the good smell makes it smell worse

Price: cigars and old spice. Like the first smell you think of when you think of old spice

Nikolai: okay he’d lowkey smell good, but like too strong, like if you hugged him you’d be coughing, and like a grandfathers perfume, some spices or something

Laswell: she probably wouldn’t really smell like anything, though I imagine her hair smells good, like a plain conditioner, just clwan

Frank Woods: Lost(he would fuck the smoke monster up)

Laswell: Law and order (she’d be cool as the DA or the defense attorney)

Park/Adler: FBI (Both would be the kinda miserable, kinda mean, tough love boss or higher up)

Hesh: Under the Dome (I feel like he’d be good with the people and he kinda fits the weird ass profiles of the characters)

Price: Beach Front Bargain Hunt, Renovation (I feel like he’d have good taste and like renovation, IDK[I think the beard is throwing me off])
