As much as a I love to complain, I feel like it’s important that we as “antis” not only show compassion towards those recovering and questioning the para and radqueer movement but also put effort into learning more about them. It’s obvious that people, especially minors are drawn to these groups because they feel they are the only place they can go without fear and judgment for what they may be dealing with. This should not be the only answer.

I HAVE AN IDEA

I recently made OCs who I dont care what gender they are

and I just thought "why not make it an actual gender?"

Interpretgender: A gender identity that can change depending on whatever the person you interact with interprets it

for example: one person thinks you're a boy and when you interact with them you're a boy, multiple people think you're a girl so when you're with them you're a girl

can be under genderfluid or other genders

I hope this makes sense, please tell me if this is okay!

I'm too lazy to make a flag, and I also don't know how to coin stuff :,)

this gender is mostly gonna be used for fictional characters/OCs, BUT it can be used by anyone

I'm kinda confused on what my gender is now ngl

like I usually don't feel much like normally, I feel like my gender only appears when I remember it exists

like most of the time I'm like non of anything then when I remember it goes through different genders til it stop on one

I mean I identify as Agenderfluid because yeah my gender fluctuates but most of the time I'm nothing

but then again I also don't feel fully genderless, but at the same time I'm literally genderless

like I feel a lot but later I feel nothing then I feel a lot again then nothing

like yeah I go through a lot of genders so genderfluid but at the same time I could make a pie chart of all the genders I feel and it'll be mostly boy, nothing, girl and stars like 40% nothing, 25% boy, 15% girl, 20% stars

I just realized why I hate SOME queer ships

Most of the time they're just best friends and they get shipped, BUT my real problem is how people ship them

like them literally romanticizing or making every move they do into something romantic even though it's platonic

like can't people just call your best friends cool, or do literally normal friend stuff WITHOUT it becoming romantic or sexual!?

I'm just saying this because I'm so tired of everything becoming so sexual and romantic

like people can still feel deep emotions and feelings with friends WHILE being platonic

tbh this also goes with non-queer ships

idk I'm probably alone in this because I have personal beef with people shipping people because they get along, like these people make me self conscious because I don't wanna be romantic

Look, if an actor of a CANON aro/ace character comes out and says they're (the character) not aro/ace for no other reason then they're shipping them with someone, that's aphobia.

That is pure erasure of a canon aro/ace character and is far far far worse than anything any regular shipper can do.

As always, please don't ship aro/ace characters and if you must ship them, at least do so in a QPR or while still addressing their aro/ace identity.

I think I've realized my problem with shipping is less with the shipping itself and more with the hypocrisy that comes with it.

It's perfectly okay to ship a bold stripe aroace, but putting a gay man in a straight relationship is bad.

Pick one, are we respecting sexualities or not? Why does being aroace matter less than being gay? Why do you care enough about gays to say that's wrong, but you actively argue that you should be allowed to disrespect bold stripe aroace characters?

I'm more bothered by the obvious double standard than I am about the shipping itself.

Y’know, you don’t always have to identify with microlabels that fit you. I technically fit aegoromantic and fictoromantic, and I identified with those things for a long time. But in the end I decided that they didn’t help me understand my identity any more than just aro did, so I stopped using them. And that’s okay. It doesn’t mean I understand my identity any less, and it doesn’t mean my identity is less valid. It’s okay to just decide not to use a label.

If you hear of a character being romance/sex repulsed and your first thought is to try to debunk or ignore it, fuck you.

If you hear of a character being aro/ace and your first thought is to say it's not canon because it wasn't explicitly stated in the media they're in (even if it was confirmed by the creator), fuck you.

If you hear of a character being romance/sex repulsed and your first thought is to say that character is boring/lonely/sad/evil because of that, fuck you.

It's almost comical how fandom is largely filled with people who claim to support aro/aces until their favorite character happens to be aro/ace. Then it's every excuse under the sun to ignore that or better yet, claim it's not canon.

A lot of you don't give that same treatment to gay characters, so you might wanna figure out why you're so okay with doing it to these ones.

Fandom: Well, we don't know that they're ace/aro/aroace. It's open for interpretation. They're not canonically ace/aro/aroace unless they specifically say they are.

Y'all know that romantic and sexual attractions are different right? So I had an idea that we should just make ___sexual flag upsidedown to make it ___romantic

Because I get confused when people use the original or use a different one that isn't familiar and also because it makes sense to flip it to make it ___sexual to ___romantic

Because I've been feeling down lately and I've only felt numb which made my gender a void of nothingness

But when I'm happy I feel my genders in euphoric waves

I want my gender back :(, I wanna feel like something or anything again
