Your dorm room at UA is nestled at the end of the main hall after you come up the stairs. You decorated it with posters of your favorite bands, heroes, and books - that, and you have a habit of cutting out snippets of magazines, of articles that catch your attention. Most of them are inspirational, and your classmates tease you about them - especially Katsuki, whenever he stops by - but you can tell by the way Momo lingers that many of them appreciate how unabashed you are with your optimism.
It’s something class 1-A has needed in recent times.

Whenever he gazes out at the sunset, he's reminded of his childhood. How, everyday, he used to gaze at that very same one; pondering about the future, what he'd become, how he would become it. The ever-changing colors: orange, purple, pink...they all strike different memories. Purple from when he'd get bruises on his knees from falling from trees while practicing his flight technique. Pink from when he became flustered in front of his first crush. Orange from when he gazed outside one Christmas day, wondering if his parents would ever stop their quarreling to continue dinner.
However, some contain newer, more positive memories. Such as the day he met you. How the orange from the sunset managed to make your beautiful face even more so.
Back at it again with another prompt for the three-sentence story meme! May I suggest Hitoshi Shino + Crystal? (As in snow or glass crystals!) Thank you so much for responding to these, it's always a joy to see your writing!

🌻pink camellia: how do they react when their s/o is gone for a week? a month?
Whenever you’re away, Izuku tries to distract himself with anything he can get his hands on. An old comic book, his notes, some paperwork he’s had for a bit. Anything he can grab to temporarily forget you’re away. What he doesn’t want to do, even if the urge becomes too great, is call you so soon. What if you’re busy doing something and he interrupts it? What if you’re currently driving? He wouldn’t want you to be on your phone! However, he will eventually cave and call you later on to check in with things. And remind you he loves you.
🌻red chrysanthemums: how long does it take for them to say ‘i love you’?
It doesn’t take him long to figure out he loves you, but for him to say it out loud? It would take a bit. Izuku is nervous to tell you because what if you don’t feel that way just yet? What if you don’t feel that way at all?? He wouldn’t want to overwhelm you or scare you, considering he’d most likely fall in love with you in the earlier stages of your relationship. Eventually, the words just fly out of his mouth when he’s not realizing it. While he’s busy working on something or maybe even doing something as simple as making dinner, he’d say “Love you,” before he can catch himself. (Thankfully, he doesn’t faint after hearing you return the words.)
🌻clover: what type of gifts do they like to get their s/o?
The little things. If he overhears you say you’ve been wanting a new book or something small, maybe a week or two later you’ll find said thing or book on your desk. Confronting him about it will embarrass him a little, but he states he doesn’t mind. “You really wanted it, right? So...I figured I had some money, and why not--” Izuku wouldn’t want anything in return, but kisses are accepted always.
