THINGS THAT NEED TO BE IN THE TV SHOW:

(season one/book one anyway)

- rose CANNOT be white

- lissa’s mental health issues cannot be written as “magic” it NEEDS to be addressed properly and in the right manner

- the scene where dimitri talks about his dad

- “wear your hair up”

- lissa & natalie’s friendship/roommates

- rose and lissa’s lack of fancy clothes/training clothes/gloves/etc. they were on the run for two years it’s unrealistic for them to have nice things

- christian’s parents

- showing rose dealing/not dealing with the bloodwh*re rumours and not brushing past it

- the jesse/dimitri scene in its entirety

Should I recast Dimitri Belikov?

So basically since I started watching Shadow & Bone I have fallen further in love with Ben Barnes that I am very tempted to recast Dimitri as him. I know that he has been fancasted before but I was thinking about editing some of my works on my tumblr blog.

I have Danila Kozlovsky who had played Dimitri on the big screen but this is for my fanfiction that I am planning. I already recast Rose and Lissa and multiple characters from the Vampire Academy and kept some of the OG cast from the movie. But I wanted some opinions for if I should recast Dimitri or not.

It would help a lot if I could get your votes. Should I choose Ben Barnes or keep Danila Kozlovsky.
