A WIP Intro

Genre ● Fantasy and LGBTQ+ romance

POV ● First person

Setting ● Dyros, a kingdom that fervently worships the sun Goddess, Sol. For centuries the monarchy has reigned, with each new ruler dedicating their lives to the Goddess and becoming her avatar. However, with a ruling queen who breaks long-held traditions, a cursed crown prince, and a population in unrest, nothing is as secure as it seems.

Synopsis ● No one would suspect that Ameris, an apprentice healer with far more jokes than coin, would be harboring a dangerous secret. The day his home burned to ash, he was blessed by a damned god to see visions of what is, what has been, and what will be. Though he’s fought to scrape together a peaceful life for himself, his hopes for the future come crashing down after he makes an impulsive choice: to save the life of prince Lex. Now discovered, he’s forced by monarchy to continue protecting their crown prince. But with an assassin still loose, high priests that would prefer to see Ameris dead, and the awakening of forgotten gods, he suspects he’ll have more than enough trouble keeping himself alive.

Status ● Writing the first draft. A baby. 

Maturity Rating ● There will be swearing and some violence

Update!: Only day 3, so there’s no physical changes! But there are new discoveries! I didn’t expect the T patch to feel sore when I put it on my arm?? Like I know that’s a side effect listed on the box, but still. The biggest irony is that the soreness felt Exactly like that pain and stiffness you have after getting a shot lmao. But ! The good news is that I don’t feel any pain when the patch is on my abdomen instead 🦑

you ever like… forget that you like your own writing? like yeah sometimes reading old fic is hard bc u see all the mistakes n what u could’ve done better but sometimes i’m reading through my own fic and i realize that it entertains me, i enjoy reading my own writing because i like writing because this stuff came out of my brain and i loved it enough to pour it out somewhere and keep it and it’s beautiful and no one else could have written it because these were my thoughts my ideas my imagination my creation…. anyway folks loving and cherishing your writing is a form of self love and we should all embrace rereading bits and pieces of our own fic every now and then
