Hi! I just found your channel and I wanted to say you really are amazing at what you do. I write songs and am notoriously terrible at it. I can get the music down usually but the words are another problem. I try to fit too much in. Tyler Joseph had this problem so he started rapping but I don't know how feasible that is for me. My question is, how do you go about taking a concept that you want to write about, and making it concise and well worded enough to fit into a song well?

Hello! When I first started writing I alsp had that problem. Making words all fit together and flow smoothly in a song can be very difficult.

The first thing I would suggest is listening to some more music! Different genres, study the way the lyrics flow into eachother and really read into the meaning of some of your favourite songs!

Second thing, think of songwriting as a muscle! You need to keep using this muscle to get any better. Write songs, and if the are shit that's okay! Not every song needs to be amazing. The more you write, the more shitty songs you will get out of the way and the better your songs will become. It's all just practice and giving it a go! <3

I write songs with the music made first, or maybe I'll just have one chord. From there I'll sing some nonsense and piece by piece I'll be able to put these words together. It takes time but don't give up!
