I mean... Trump has boasted for decades about his Mob connections, with them going back to his time working with Roy Cohn (to work in real estate in New York in the 1980s you had to work with the Mob to smooth things over with the unions), which led to his getting into legal trouble later when he tried to shift to casinos as a) he lied about being friends with/working with gangster, and b) they used his casinos for money laundering (which is why those with Mob connections are meant to disclose them before they get a licence to run a casino in the first place).
So yeah, the second one. And that's not getting into how he had a goon approach Stormy Daniels in a car park while she was getting her kid strapped into a chair and, according to her, basically gave her the "nice kid, shame if anything happened to them" routine.
