I also wanted to chime in again on this post bc there’s quite a bit of “he’s just not that smart” or “that’s a reach” about the 1st tweet in the notes. I have a couple of replies:

Firstly, Trump’s Twitter acct is notoriously NOT run exclusively by him so it’s entirely possible he was unaware of the character counts, etc. But that’s hardly the point here...if his closest advisors and idk what to call them...handlers? are fucking Nazis then our president is a fucking Nazi 🤷‍♀️ There’s no way that the original construction of that first tweet is a coincidence.

Secondly, whether or not he knows origins and meanings of 14/88 shit (I’d guess he DOES but I digress) his spoken rhetoric is pretty consistently overtly white supremacist in nature. So yeah. Point stands.

In lieu of the new tumblr settings, can I make yet another plea with those of you who read fics and consume art on tumblr to please reblog them?

Fics and art will die on a creator’s dash if they aren’t reblogged. It’s never been more true than now.

If you want to keep receiving content from creators, reblog the the content. If it’s something you enjoyed? Reblog it. It’s not hard. I am going to make a point to reblog everything I read from now on. (With the proper tags of course), as well as all the art that I see on my dash.

I cannot make it simpler. Posts WILL die unless they’re reblogged. No one will see your ‘like’. Your like is a bookmark for YOU to find it later. Your reblog means the world to a creator because it means you are willing to go the little extra distance and recommend this to your followers.

Don’t let creations die on the dash of those who created them.

Hey so I know there is so much bad stuff going on rn with the Amazon and people trying to use the Spiderman stuff to take attention away from it, but over the past week The Florida Aquarium in Tampa has been able to successfully help coral reproduce in a lab. Which is amazing news because this ciuld literally help our oceans with the rising temperatures and bleaching of the corals. This could help bring back native corals and help our oceans thrive again.
