my last post is also why i've been so scarce on here. december was awful for me and full of stress, and january was when my new job started. i hope that once i've settled into my schedule and have the financial security, i'll be able to get back to what i love (aka fic writing and gif making).

Hey, everyone. Unfortunately, I'm here with some troublesome news.

A few things went wrong for me between December and January. The first was that one of my part-time jobs only gave me 6 working hours for the month. Like, the entire month. I had to leave it because it was financially ruining me (lots of gas). A financial reimbursement expected for this month, will not hit until mid-February. I did pick up an all new part-time job that I'm loving, but that check will also not hit until mid-February.

I truly don't know how I'm going to survive the coming week. Rent is due tomorrow, and not having it means I'm risking homelessness for myself, my family, and my rescue kitten because our landlord is actually a leasing corporation—they're not understanding, they're not kind, and they will absolutely evict us.

I know everyone is struggling. It pains me to even make a post like this when I know so many others are barely making ends meet. Any help would be much appreciated. Even just a few dollars can go a long way. If you can help, i have a KO-FI. Thank you so much to anyone who contributes.

(And thankfully, my new job means this is the last time I'll ever be in this position. I just need to make it through this week somehow.)
