Lost || Open
When someone usually gets lost, there are a few things they can do to find their way to familiar grounds. They could backtrack, read signs, ask for help... Many now would also be able to just pull up a map on their phones and use that to guide themselves back.
Shea couldnât do three out of those four things. He still struggled to understand what the individual letters that made up a word meant, and he certainly didnât have a phone yet. If he had been paying enough attention during his current wandering, he couldâve easily backtracked. But, as it was, he had been too distracted. At one point there was just such a nice smell in the air. Food, maybe? He never actually found itâs source, as he ended up switching focus to a strange animal that crossed his path.
And now, after following the animal, where was he?
Looking left and right, Shea could only see unfamiliar buildings and scenery. âLost....â He mumbled to himself, âThink lost.....â Even the weird animal he had been following had disappeared! Maybe, if he couldnât try the other three options, maybe he could find someone who could help him?
With that in mind, he approached the first person he saw. âHello excuse!â He called out, trying to get their attention. âThink need help!â
Mirror Mimicry || Open
 I hope he has someone with him who can read. I canât imagine how difficult it would be to do daily tasks without being able to read. Words are everywhere. I really hope I will be able to teach this boy to readâŚHe probably canât write either. It might be hard without using my voice, but Iâll try my best!
âI  s h o u l d  b e  g o i n g  n o w.  W i l l  y o u  b e  o k a y  o n  y o u r  o w n ?â Keira honestly wasnât sure how Shea would be able to navigate without reading. Maybe he just memorized different routes by things he sees or turnsâŚ.Well, either way, reading is important.
âWill be okay!â Shea was quick to reassure Keira. Navigating the city wasnât any harder than navigating the forest he grew up in! Sure, there were all these distracting lights and signs and item everywhere, but he could see plenty of differences between everything and find his way around even without reading!
âGood meeting, Keira! Hope see again!â Shea waved goodbye to her with a sunny expression, an action he quickly picked up when first pulled into the modern world.
Mirror Mimicry || Open
 Keira chuckled slightly, although she produced no sound, at the boyâs enthusiasm. She wasnât sure how she would teach him but she would figure it out. I donât think I can afford to open up a school but maybe I could teach a special class at Trinity Academy. Now, how would she get in contact with him when itâs all set up. She didnât have a phone and doubted he had one eitherâŚ
  âI  c a n  s e t  u p  a  c l a s s  t o  h e l p  p e o p l e  l i k e  m e  a n d  y o u  a t  T r i n i t y  A c a d e m y.â Keira began to use little hand motions to go a long with what she was saying. Then she took out her notepad and wrote out her address signed with her name. Handing it to Shea, she began the ridiculous mouth movements again. âG i v e  t h i s  t o  s o m e o n e  i f  y o u  n e e d  m e.  I t â s  v e r y  n i c e  t o  m e e t  y o u  S h e a.â
Shea took the paper curiously, blinking down at the things drawn on it. He didnât exactly know what âTrinity Academyâ was, or even what exactly was a âclass,â but he assumed they had to deal with learning! But what did Keira mean exactly by saying it was for people like both her and him? It looked like she could already use the written symbols, and she had done that weird series of hand motions before... Either way, he looked back at Keira.
âMm, okay will hold on to then, Keira,â he nodded, repeating the simple instructions in his head to make sure he remembered. Lanna or 'Rina would be the best two people to show it to, either one should be able to point him in the right direction if he needed to find her! âThank Keira!â
Mirror Mimicry || Open
 Keira couldnât help but smile at the boyâs words. He was kind of like a child. She just wanted to pat his head and give him a hug. Settling for a nod and smile, Keira thought of if she should go or not. She honestly was afraid to leave this boy alone.Â
  âW o u l d  y o u  l i k e  t o  l e a r n ? T o  r e a d ?â Keira mouthed the words slowly hoping she could help this boy. She suddenly had the urge to make a difference. Keira wanted to help people with problems like herself. Hopefully he would be willing to learn. Itâs a skill everyone should know and could really benefit the boyâŚShe hadnât even introduced herself. Once again, Keira began to mouth a sentence. It felt silly, but what else could she do?
  âM y  n a m e  i s  K e i r a .  W h a t  i s  y o u r â s ?â
Shea blinked after the first question, grin dimming a bit as he processed what she was trying to say. When he figured it out, or at least thought he understood what she was saying, the smile came back full-force, coupled with a nod.
âYeah! Want to learn!â Learning to read and write was one of the things he most wanted to learn since being brought into the city. Unfortunately, it was slow goings right now. Lanna was going to help him, but they both worked and there wasnât always a lot of time for his lessons. âHard to learn...â he ended up mumbling, wearing his heart on his sleeve with the disappointed expression that crossed his face at the same time. But, hey, he just met a new friend! He didnât want to make the new friend sad, and there was no reason for him to be sad near the new friend!
âOh, nice to meet, Keira! I name Shea!â
Invisible || Violet & ???
Violet hummed a spirit song to herself as she walked around the apartment, getting ready to take her new corgi, Ame, on a walk. Since she had gotten her new puppy, she noticed that things were getting a little better with her mood. Maybe having the happy puppy around the apartment was a little better for her than she anticipated.
Just as she was putting a necklace on, she felt Ame trotting circles around her legs, eager to go on the walk now that his leash was on.Â
âAlright, alrightâŚâ Violet giggled a little bit when her eyes fell back towards one of the other pieces of jewelry she had gotten from the Carnival. It was just a simple ring, but it was pretty cute. Without another thought, Violet slipped the ring on and walked over towards the front door.Â
For some reason, Ame seemed surprised that they were starting to walk.
It didnât take long before they were outside, Ame wandering in aimless circles as they went along their merry way. It was a little confusing, but Violet just thought that Ame was still getting used to living with her and going on walks. He had only been adopted for less than a week, after all.
However, since her eyes werenât on the dog, they certainly werenât on the person in front of her. Violet bumped right into someone, and she could feel a surprise tug against Ameâs leash. She immediately took a couple steps back and bowed her head in an apology, mainly to prevent them from seeing her completely red face.
âI-Iâm s-sorryâŚp-please excuse meâŚâ Violet squeaked out quietly before she attempted to walk away.
Taking walks around Altelia whenever he had free time was a habit for Shea, one carried over from living in the forest all his life. Except, in the city, he was very much out of his element. Instead of prowling around in a sea of browns and greens, checking to make sure no one got lost in the trees, he was the one getting lost. It was honestly a little disheartening to the wild man. There was so much he didnât know and understand, he wasnât able to help people as much as he was used to.
Today was no exception in his getting lost either. The dark skinned man had wandered without paying enough attention to where he was going. All the sights and sound of the city, no matter how he was slowly adjusting to them, they distracted him too much.
It all made him miss the calm of the forest. It made him miss home.
Abruptly, Shea was brought out of his quiet thoughts, feeling rather than seeing someone bump into him. His head snapped to where he felt them hit him, but.... there was no one there? In fact, the only thing he saw after looking around, was a small dog on a leash. A floating leash.
And then there was a voice coming out of thin air!
âWho there!â He demanded to know, reaching to the floating least, apprehensive. Surely it wasnât the dog talking, right? He was pretty sure there were no animals in the city that talked. And how was the leash just floating in the air? He had never seen one do that before!

Lollies || Game and Prizes
On the brightly decorated table sits a cone with lollipops sticking out of it. For each turn you may pick one (1) lollipop out of the cone. The end of the lollipop will either be blank or colored. If the end of the lollipop is blank then you will not receive a prize, however you do get to keep the lollipop!! If the lollipopâs end is colored then you get to choose a prize from its corresponding category (and you get to keep your lollipop too!!)
A small girl with bright cotton candy colored hair was holding out fliers and excitedly saying, âHello everyone!! Only 100G for each play!! The prizes are super cool and you get a lollipop every time you play!! And even if you donât want to play, please take a flier for Pop Shoppe, the new candy store I opened!! Bring the flier to Pop Shoppe and get 50% off your purchase!! Everyone, players and non players, is welcome to take a flier!!â Every so often sheâs look back and smiled at her blue haired companion. How would anyone not want to play at a booth run by such a cute couple??

This game was weirder than the last, Shea decided as he neared it. The booth smelled very nice, like candy, but not everything here was edible? At least not as far as he could tell. Still, he payed out 100G to give it a try.
Purple. He got a lollipop that was colored purple at the end. The people behind the booth said he had a choice between six dresses, but he didnât really get it. The clothes people wore here were strange. â...Brown one.â All the others were so bright, he didnât like them much. What does he do with clothing he won though?
Carnival || Cakewalk!
Tinaâs booth is admittedly on the larger side, at least compared to most. Thereâs colorful squares cut out of cardboard laid out in a large square, the actual booth sitting in the middle. A light pink, battery operated radio sits on the counter as well as the prizes. What fit is lined up nicely on the surface and the rest is represented on the menu and stored away in a box sitting next to the booth. Finishing adjusting things, Tina pulls herself up to occupy what little free space is left on her booth by standing in it, cupping her hands around her mouth to be heard.
âCome one come all~! Join for a chance to win sweet treats and candy themed prizes~!â

Shea wasnât sure he understood this game. The person running it said it was like something called âmusical chairs,â but what was that? He understood what the word âmusicâ was, and of course he knew what a chair was. But chairs that played music? That didnât make sense for how she then said the game was played. He guessed that was beside the point, as he tried the game 3 times. There were things that looked like food here, and he thought they looked yummy.
âWin! Win duck bear and brown necklace!â He cheered at the end, The necklace looked like some foods he had seen in the city, was it edible? He would have to see about that later. And the plushies he won! They looked weird for stuffed animals, were they stuck in the strange polka dotted containers? He couldnât see their limbs....
Still, he was more than happy when he walked away, prizes in tow.

Shea had no idea what he was really doing when he decided to try this game. Making sense of the symbols written on it wasnât very fun, but games were meant to be fun, werenât they? So, he stepped up to try it. He wasnât sure what hammer he was using, there were a few to choose from. The man running the game said it was a âmegaâ hammer though, whatever that really meant. He ended up paying the man 350G, being able to hit the weird button at the bottom of the game 5 times.
âWah!â Shea was easily amazed and surprised when the marker at the bottom shot up, all the way to the top, with four of his swings. The last hit was lackluster, not even hitting the lowest part of it that had the weird symbols paired with a big number, but that didnât really bother him.
âTake duck, shark, cat, bear!â They were large, fuzzy animals. Even the shark was soft to the touch and plush. He was so happy, he had more fake animal friends now!

 This poor boy was a bit slow. He might not know it, but he definitely needed help. This is why I should open up a place for people who have disabilities like me and him. Now I know Iâm not the only one who needs it. Maybe she could start up a fund? âŚ.Wait what was he trying to say?
 Does he not understand mirrors? How could Keira explain that it was his reflection? Keira decided that it was important for this to happen. She needed to make a school for people with disabilities! Or maybe just a class at a school. That might be easier.
 Keira slowly worded out, âT h a tâ s  a  m i r r o r.  I t  s h o w s  w h a t  i s  i n  f r o n t  o f  i t.â She would try to explain more, but it would take too long. Keira stood in front of the mirror and moved her hands back and forth to show how it imitates.
Shea blinked, brow furrowed as he watched the girlâs mouth. Okay, there was at least one word in there that he didnât know. It was a little difficult to say if she was saying other things he didnât understand, since it was just being mouthed, but he was pretty sure it was just the one word.
â...Me-roar? It called Meroar?â At least, thats what it looked like she was saying. But that didnât make sense! Even if it showed what was in front of it, like she said, it didnât roar! The âmeâ part was more understandable though. Still, even the confusion about the name, he nodded.
âThank for tell!â He grinned, feeling so sure of his understanding now. The thing was called a me-roar, and it acted like really still water and the shiny metal he had seen in the city.
Something New || Shea & Lanna
It was only an hour or so after leaving that Lanna returned from her grocery shopping. Hopping backwards from the carriage, paper bags full of food items in hand, the blonde spun on her heel and stumbled forward. With a light squeak, she managed to regain her composure, the heels of her wedges teetering against the curb. She could hear the cab driver asking if she needed any help, to which she responded with a small hum of declination. The response she got from that was the sound of the carriage wheels rolling away against the pavement. Adjusting her hold on the bags, Lanna made her way into the apartment building and towards her home where she was sure Shea would be waiting diligently for her.
Shea. It wasnât everyday you come across a Tarzan man living in the scorched remains of Fugue Forest, let alone take him into your care with the promise of helping him enter society, but thatâs exactly what happened to her. Her friends didnât approve, and if her parents ever returned her calls she was near certain that her folks would throw a fit. The boy wasnât bad at all though, no, not in the slightest. Once you got past the âscary-spear-in-the-faceâ first impression, he was actually a very kind boy. Perhaps boy wasnât the right word, he was the same age as her after all. Yes, he was certainly a man in terms of technicalities and appearance, but internally he seemed like nothing more than a boy, and she really did mean that in the kindest way possible.
âShea~ Iâm hooooome!â Lanna let out in a sing-song tone, managing to push the door open without dropping the groceries. âI bought those fish sticks you likeââ She was cut off by the sound of her name far closer and far louder than she expected, and with the bags of groceries covering her face, she was unable to see the voice in question before she was practically jumping out of her skin, grocery bags landing on the floor with a bang.
Stumbling back, the blonde bent over slightly and quickly covered her face. A low whine left her lips and she shook back and forth fervently. âSheaaaa!!â She sobbed, âYou scared meeee!â Uncovering her face, she shot her Tarzan a small pout.
Shea himself jumped when the bags of groceries hit the floor, and his earlier excitement morphed into concern. He scared her? Oh no, he didnât mean to do that! Bouncing up onto his feet, his arms flailed a bit as he tried to figure out what to do.
âLanna, I sorry!â He took a few steps forward, looking over the blonde to make sure he hadnât hurt her along with scaring her. âNo mean to! Not want to scare!â He mustâve made a big mistake to spook her like that, but he wasnât entirely sure what the mistake was. He usually greeted her when she came home, so that wasnât it. Maybe he was too loud this time? Usually he was further in the apartment, rather than waiting at the door...
Sheaâs eyes went to the floor, feeling apologetic and ashamed for his mistake. That brought the dropped bags to his attention tho, and soon enough he was crouching down, putting items that had found their way out of the bags back in one and then picking them all up. âShea... I help with bag? That make better for scare?â He looked at Lanna hopefully. If helping with the bags wouldnât make up for the accidental scare.... heâd just have to think of something else! He didnât want Lanna upset.
Money?
Shea is adjusting to the city! Somehow, he earned 2,000G. Living with Lanna, some things are cheaper! Shea ended up with an extra 1,000G. With two jobs, he earned 1,000G from his paychecks!
