hey there!! i’m ram, but you can call me pretty much any nickname you’d like

i am non-binary and my pronouns are they/them, but i don’t mind she/her or he/him. i am eighteen, and you can follow me regardless of age, just be mindful of mine

this blog is mostly centered around my alterhumanity. i am sheepkith, umbreonkin, and questioning a few other identities — shapeshifterkin, dragonkin, etc etc. while i don’t exactly consider myself a sheep therian, sheep are still incredibly important to me and my identity :) much of my blog will be sheep themed/centered

i’ll use this blog mostly as an alterhuman spam. my ask box is always open for questions or rambles. i love hearing about other alterhuman experiences, so don’t be shy! i’m pretty socially anxious, so sorry if i come off as a little awkward or distant ;v;

i have no set dni but basics do apply. discrimination of any kind isn’t tolerated. i aim to make my blog a safe space for all, so please help me with that :3

I feel the therian community needs a reminder:

Being alterhuman can be having dysphoria and little signs all throughout your life, crazy experiences with memories and flashbacks and full body shifts, never once feeling like a human and only feeling like your kintype(s)

And being alterhuman can also mean discovering a Creachur one day and going 'Oh, yeah, that's me' and then going on with life

And it can be a spectrum between that

There is no one right way to be alterhuman

reading alterhuman awakening posts got me thinking about my own awakening. i realized that i’m an alterhuman when i was sixteen, but reading about so many other alterhumans awakening earlier in life (heck, even as little kids) made me question the validity of my identity back then

it wasn’t until i discovered that i’m a shapeshifter that pieces started to fall into place. since i was very young, i’d always pretend to shapeshift. i had countless daydreams filled with me being able to change my physical form to my will. in middle school i’d sit in class thinking about the form i wish i could transform into each day. i’d feel a tickle in my back and pray that wings would grow there, or perhaps my hands would eventually melt into paws with just a little time. i never knew that this wasn’t something every child wished until i realized my alterhumanity

throughout my time in high school, i had stopped daydreaming about shapeshifting. i started to feel like it was just a childish fantasy that i should grow out of. but i’m incredibly glad that i found the alterhuman community, because i learned that being myself is nothing to be ashamed of. and now, more than ever, i am embracing every single shift and every form i take

my desire to transform physically is (and always has been) more than just playing pretend — it’s the one of the deepest and most personal things i could ever wish for. being trapped in one human form isn’t satisfying, but i’m glad i have this community to share my experiences with :)
