A long overdue gift for a friend :) It was supposed to be a drawing but my drawing and handicrafts muse was thinking about something else at the time. And I lost enthusiasm when I thought too long and hard about the drawing I was going to give. It took 2 years but inspiration struck when I first heard this and here it is!

I wonder if I sound like him now? ahahaha!

Honestly, it’s a powerful message in my opinion. The protagonist reinforces himself and his self-esteem post-break-up but I think it’s also a kind but subtle message to the recipient of the message that they maybe try to love themselves first more instead of projecting and lashing out their insecurities and lack of self-love at the protagonist of the song.

Hahaha I tried out my newly acquired low notes (*due to my recent laryngitis whose effects don’t seem to want to let up any time soon -_-”). 

It took me over 7 years to get this range and I’m happy but sad because now, I can’t seem to reach my previous range that included higher keys.

Uhh, so I’m still playing around with how my mic should be distanced from me so there are still some “echo/roomy” sounds when I sing -_-; Not to mention the overly loud parts sigh still in the trial-and-error phase.
