NEW OCS + ANIMATION ALERT!!!!
Bait and Switch Animation Meme with Zephyr-
OK SO. These are my latest ocs, Llyda and Zephyr from my new universe where fairies are real but also they aren't actual fairies? Basically, they resemble fairies, so they're called fairies, but they are in no way the fairies, faeries, or fae from the myths except they use magic. Also they live in colonies, like cats. Llyda is a craftsperson and singer in her colony, where she lives with her mom, dad, brothers, and sister until Zephyr, in his attempt to achieve control of all the colonies on the continent, kills one of her brothers. After which, llyda vows to get revenge and stop Zephyr. Zephyr is a chimera who, growing up, was praised for his appearance and sometimes even compared to the gods. Because of this, Zephyr began to believe that not only was he some sort of god/chosen by the gods, but that as such, he was destined to rule over all fairykind. Llyda uses storm magic, while Zephyr uses both shift and breeze magic due to him being a chimera. Using shift magic, Zephyr is able to transform his appearance, with his most common disguise being Sandy. Oh, and Zephyr also has polydactyly, and both he and sandy's design were based (partially for his actual appearance, since he's a chimera) off of the black footed cat, due to its reputation as one of the most successful hunters of the cat world.
Sooo Ileos, how IS Hekame?
NEW OC DESIGN!!!!!
As I was redesgning Hekame, I figured I might as well redesign Ileos too, and here he is! Overtime, he beame the god of the day, winds, and cooking rather than just the god of the sun, so I wanted a design that reflected at least two of those things. Also, his personality changed too. The blues and bluish green are supposed to give off a windy and sky kinda vibe, and the oranges and yellows are supposed to give off sunny vibes, since he's a god of the daytime. I also gave him a star necklace and earrings to show his connection and love for Hekame. The patterns might not be very permanent, but they'll do for now. Design critisism will be more than welcome and appreciated!
I have redesigned Hekame.... Again. I actually redesigned him twice, but I didn't like the first one so I decided to try again, and boy was THAT a good idea! I love this version of him so much <3333 Oh, and a new drawing I did of him! Versions without filters and rendering below cut. Oh, ALSO also, I didnt mention this on his ref shest, but he has stars in place of freckles!

New story, let's goooooo!!!!
Just a flash fic of my ocs I did recently lol
An Archive of Our Own, a project of the Organization for Transformative Works
Summary- Ileos bent down and gently picked up the baby, hesitant to meet the new god. At first, he had been scared—terrified, even. He had never even seen a baby before and was still so young—how could he possibly be capable enough to raise one? But then Ileos looked into the baby’s wide, curious eyes that were as bright as the full moon on a clear night, and all his doubts melted away. His feelings didn’t matter anymore; he was responsible for someone else now. Holding that baby in his arms, Ileos was prepared to die for the little boy in his arms. That night, under the Stars’ gaze, he gave the baby—his son, now—a name that reflected their bright, silver eyes—Hekame, after the very thing his eyes resembled.
I'm slowly forgetting your face
An animatic (?) thingy with Ileos and Hekame! Don't you just love when you've been separated from your son for so long that you start forgetting what he sounds like :))))))

HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO MEEEEE
TODAY IS MY BIRTHDAY!!!!!
This is really freaking annoying so i just had to rant about it. So two days ago, me and my mom were watching tv when my aunt called and started talking about my cousin and how she wasn't sure who was going to pick her up. We were confused, and then we found out that my cousin and our friends were all hanging out and sled riding WITHOUT ME. Which is a big deal because even though I've sometimes hung out without one or two of the group, I've ALWAYS made sure to ask before hand whose all coming. If they don't show up, either they weren't able to or they didn't want to. I was kinda hurt and I ended up sending an impulsive, passive aggressive text to the groupchat, and they ALL responded, which is weird because normally it's basically just me and one other person chatting. They basically say that it wasn't like how I thought it was, that they didn't want me to get hurt, that they were worried they were going to get stuck, and they didn't say anything because they "care about me." Which. WOW. OKAY. SO BECAUSE IM PHYSICALLY DISABLED IM SUDDENLY INCAPABLE OF MAKING MY OWN DECISIONS ON WHAT I CAN AND CAN'T DO???? ARE YOU SERIOUS????? IM FUCKING TIRED OF PEOPLE BEING ABLEIST AND DISCRIMINATORY, ALBEIT ACCIDENTALLY. THIS EXACT BEHAVIOR IS WHY I'M HOMESCHOOLED, BECAUSE THE SCHOOL DID THE SAME EXACT THING AND I ENDED UP FEELING LEFT OUT OF THINGS. IVE LIVED WITH THIS DISABILITY MY WHOLE FUCKING LIFE, I KNOW WHAT I CAN AND CANT DO, AND IM NOT COMFORTABLE WITH SOMETHING, GUESS WHAT???? I DON'T DO IT. AND TO TOP IT ALL OFF, THAT ONE FRIEND THAT I TALK TO IN THE GROUPCHAT HAS A DISABLED SISTER AND HAS COMPLAINED TO ME BEFORE ABOUT HOW THEY HATE IT WHEN PEOPLE TALK/TREAT HER DIFFERENTLY BECAUSE OF HER DISABILITY. YOU'D THINK THEY'D BE ABLE TO REFLECT AND GO "Oh, I just excluded this person because of my disability. That's not very nice." OH ALSO WTF WAS UP WITH MY COUSIN?!?! I'VE KNOWN HER ALL MY LIFE, SO YOU'D THINK SHE OF ALL PEOPLE WOULD UNDERSTAND, BUT NOOOO
Anyways, the whole thing about my disability was what really pissed me off. I was a little hurt about the other stuff, but this was just a whole other problem. I get people care about me and don't want me hurt, but I'm getting pretty fucking tired of being excluded simply because people can't be bothered to ask me about my abilities and instead make shit up in their minds about what I can and can't do. I thought that my friends and cousin of all people would understand, but I guess they don't.
rambling about my oc lore because writing takes too much time and effort, part 1- Hekame
Ok so Hekame is like the god of magic, theatre, the night/moon, and illusions and is the son of Ileos, the god of the day/sun, the winds, hunting, music, and fatherhood. He was created by The Stars, who are like mysterious beings similar to the primordial gods in Greek mythology. They're basically like sentient and omniscient stars and don't have physical bodies, at least none that creatures in our dimension can see without our brains being overwhelmed with sensory information as it tries to make sense of it to the point of death. Though they do have "hosts" created specifically for the purpose of communicating with mortals and gods, though they don't really do that a whole lot. They are the beings that created the world, most of life, and the gods, who were made to protect/guide the mortals. There are some species that were created by gods, but generally they were all created by The Stars. Anyways, Hekame was created by The Stars and as such is a part of the first generation of gods (any gods who are born from gods are considered to be a part of later generations) but from the moment of his creation, he was different from other gods. To explain this, I have to explain gods. Basically, gods are beings made out of pure magic, though they do have bodies and can bleed and stuff like that because the magic compressed to a point it took physical form, though this still isnt considered physical matter like rocks and minerals are. This is what makes them functionally immortal and makes them super resistant to wounds and illnesses, though not completely, as they can die if the wound/illness is severe enough. Being made out of pure magic separates them from mortals because mortals are made out of both physical matter and magic. The lack of physical matter in gods, as i said, is why they are immortal. Physical matter is defined as stuff that wasn't created with large amounts of pure magic and is instead mostly made up of parts of the bodies of The Stars that were morphed into easier-to-digest forms for the brains of 3D creatures. Magic, meanwhile, is basically what makes up space. Without it, physical matter and life wouldn't have ever existed, because there would be nowhere TO exist. It's important to note that every living thing has magic, mortals just have less of it than the gods, and how much can vary from species to species and even individual to individual. How much magic one is made up of is called their magic stores. They can access any amount of their magic at any time, though physical conditions like exhaustion can make it harder to do so. However, it is not advisable to use a lot of your magic at once, as the more you use up at once had more and more drastic consequences on your body, even with gods. Magic can be restored over time, but since magic makes up every living thing, using it up all at once can cause damage to your internal organs that gets worse the more magic you use, until the only possible consequence is death. When mortals die of this, their bodies simply just. Stop functioning, like how death normally works. But when it happens to gods, because they aren't made up of any physical matter, their bodies instead explode, sending out a shockwave that can harm others if they're close enough when it occurs. It's important to note that magic, like matter, can't be destroyed, so when a god explodes, their magic isn't destroyed; it is instead released into the environment, creating a "stain" that affects the nearby area for a while. Anyways, back to Hekame. So Hekame is different from the other gods because for some reason, his creation required way more magic than the other gods created by The Stars, which lead to him having a way higher magic store than the others. He has such a high magic store, in fact, that he is the strongest god magic-wise, ever. This aspect of his creation also meant that he ended up being younger than most gods were at the time of their creation, and ended up being created as a baby around six months old. (1/2)
(2/2)
For reference, most gods created by The Stars were around late teens-early twenties. Because of his age, The Stars couldn't really expect him to take care of himself, so they decided to assign one of the other gods to be his caretaker, and they chose Ileos. Now Ileos had been created just a few years prior and was around 19 years old. He spent a lot of his time at parties and hanging out with his friends, so suddenly being handed a child when he himself was quite young had a massive impact on him mentally. He never blamed Hekame for it and ended up loving him all the same, but he would often find himself wondering what his life could've been like if he hadn't been made a parent so young, even wishing that he had been older when he was given Hekame because he was not at all equipped to care for a kid. Because of how young Ileos was, he ended up being a little more like a sibling or friend than a parent sometimes. Like, Hekame called him Papa and he taught him things and took care of him, but sometimes he would end up doing something irresponsible, like take Hekame to a party with mostly adults. He would always regret it afterwards, though, and he got better at being a parent as time passed, but still. Not a smart move, man. Well anyways, the other gods were scared of Hekame because of how strong he was, so he spent his whole childhood being dislied and never really knowing why, though he assumed he must've done something wrong. He also really loved messing with his magic and performing for others, so he decided that he would get the other gods to like him by performing magic for them. Unsurprisingly, this did not help; in fact, it made things worse. Every trick he performed revealed more about his capabilities, which led to the other gods fearing him more, which then made him more and more desperate and performing more elaborate tricks, and repeat the cycle over and over and over again. Now at some point, he ended up becoming best friends with a second generation god a year or two younger than him, and one day, his friend decided to watch Hekame perform magic. Well, turns out that the main villain of the story had been watching Hekame since he was born and decided to mess with his magic, causing it to go haywire and injure several gods, as well as kill his friend. To the other gods, this was the proof they needed to justify fearing him, so they chased him down and banished him to another realm, a realm where he would be the only person there. Shortly after being banished, the main villain began to appear to him in his dreams and became his "friend," and bonding over the fact that she had been banished, too. Eventually, she made a deal with him; she would help him escape, if Hekame promised to help her in return. He quickly agreed, trusting her completely. So several centuries past, and Hekame begins to doubt MV (main villain). She quells his doubts by insisting that she *is* helping, it just takes time. To convince him, she promised to bring him a friend to accompany him in the meantime. A couple days later, his new friend washed up on the beach. I don't really know a lot of his story after this point, but basically he and NF (new friend) spend some time together, NF makes Hekame realize that maybe MV can't be trusted, and the two escape end up escaping the realm together somehow. Some time later, MV breaks free from her prison, wages war against the gods, plans to destroy the planet, and Hekame has to stop her by blowing himself up alongside her via using up all of his magic at once, leaving a magical stain in the surrounding area and saving the day.
Anddddd, scene! That's all I have for Hekame's story so far. If you liked this, lmk! I'll probably also start a series of posts with random facts about my ocs
