I LOVE my new bedding and pillows! I also found my leech pillow from "the Asylum for Wayward Victorian Girls" by Emilie Autumn (1st and 2nd edition), that and the striped pillow (also from the book as well as her album "Laced/Unlaced") were $35/ea cause they are custom made and that leech pillow has been missing for over a year! glad to have it back (found it in the drawer under my bed)! the plushies have a more prominent spot so that big moo on the bottom isn't hidden away behind the pillows.

Ohhh this all looks super duper cozy, the bee cat is kinda a bit spooky but that's fine.

This reminds me, I need to wash my bedding soon.

If anyone of my friends and or followers on here work for a car dealership or are a mechanic that deals with women on a regular basis...please don't talk to us like we are idiots. We may not know cars...but, thats why we bring our vehicles to you. When we ask questions please don't sigh loudly and roll your eyes like a teenage girl. We are asking to understand. Not to inconvenience you.

In a nutshell...DON'T BE A DOUCHE BAG. If you treat us right we will make sure people know and word of mouth brings business. Especially in my town. But, that works BOTH ways. Bad reviews travel 10× faster.

it's not exclusively women. they pretty much assume anyone taking their car in doesn't know anything. I work at a car parts store and have training in how a lot of the inner workings, well, work, and have even shown off that knowledge. and they know I work at a car parts store cause I've come in in uniform. but they still act like me and even my male roommate don't know the first thing about how cars work. it's a snob thing not a sexist thing.

Been gone for awhile. My wife died suddenly of a heart attack last summer and it fucked me up more than I care to admit.

Sometimes I still start to ask her something and immediately realize I can't. And never will again.

I'm getting along better but it still sucks every fucking day. Having a dog really helps because it gave me something to care for.

I'm sorry for your loss. my roommate's wife died of asphyxiation 2½ years ago and it still hits him sometimes. he's started to date again but tbh I don't think he's ready for a relationship.

he does little things to commemorate her. like on her birthday and the anniversary of her death he goes to the bar, then after goes to Jack in the Box, then comes home and watches Heavy Metal, the way they used to do when she was alive. he goes to her grave and leaves flowers, he even took some of them home they're in the bathroom right now 'cause it's the only place the cats won't destroy them. his therapist told him doing things that they used to do on those days will help keep her alive, but also he has to get used to not having her to do those things with.

all I can say is don't avoid grieving her. I know that it's hard but you have to face that loss and the feelings that come with it. he's still avoiding it and he's sabotaged so many interpersonal relationships because of it. even put a strain on ours. and he may like this girl he's with but I can see it imploding right before my eyes, even if he doesn't. and it's cause he's avoiding grieving her. he's gonna keep doing this until he faces it. I've told him as much but you know the saying, you can lead a horse to water but you can't make them drink. but for the sake of your happiness and peace of mind you have to face this loss. I know that's easier said than done but unfortunately the only way out is through.
