What's wasteland weekend?

Wasteland Weekend is a 5 day event in the middle of the Mojave where people celebrate the inner Raider in them.

Costumes are mandatory; themes include but not limited to Mad Max, Fallout, Borderlands….anything post apocalyptic.

You can camp there with friends or get a hotel; people chop up old cars and make crazy wastelander vehicles. They wanna keep it as immersive as possible so customized camps and tribes are encouraged. Theres a film festival, concerts…all kinds of shit.

Dates for 2019s festival are Sept 25th through the 29th.

and now we even have people replying to pictures of baby yoda with “i want this on a tshirt” knowing how ravenous disney is being with copyright in hopes to get the stores taken down altogether

do anyone know how to properly clean a living space?

I fucking love to clean so lemme jot down a quick list

1. Declutter: go through all your stuff and figure out what you can throw away or donate. Try to pack all of the same things in the same places and try putting irregular shaped items inside of boxes, geometric lines look cleaner.

2. Dust along all surfaces with a feather duster or an old balled up shirt or cloth. Wipe down surfaces like bookshelves or shelves in general and on top of tables after unpacking the things on them.

3. Lift small items off of the floor and sweep if you have tiles or wooden floors (if you have tiles or wooden floors try running with a mop and floor cleaner after sweeping) vacuum if you have carpets and make sure to get in all the corners, behind and under big furniture and along the skirting boards. Pack smaller items back in their places.

4. Wash all bedding or fabrics like pillow cases and curtains and clean along the top of the curtain rail and on the window sill.

5. If you have a ceiling fan, get up there and wipe the top of the blades. You’d be amazed how much dust they collect.

Edit* I have ADHD and depression and this can seem like an overwhelming task to do but once you get started it’s actually therapeutic. Try having fun with it too, pop on some music. And set times for each task… For example, I’ll take an hour to do this and one hour to do that. It’ll help keep you on track
