Reblog if you’re a booklr & over 18 years old
I adore ALL my booklr loves, of course. But I’m feeling rather isolated in the “adult” category (I’m clearly using the term ‘adult’ very loosely). Signal boost so we can find each other!?!
YA literature? You mean books about Super Special White Girl and Her Mysterious Brooding Boyfriend?
Here’s a list of black YA leads! And ten Native American protagonists! And a list of ladies who love ladies in YA! And genderqueer / transgender YA leads! And more queer titles! And 2015 / 2016 YA books with Asian / East Asian leads! And bisexual YA leads! And Muslim YA leads! And asexual YA leads! And YA Interrobang’s entire section on diverse YA fiction! *confetti*
PLEASE REBLOG THIS
PLEASE DO NOT THROW THE YA GENRE UNDER THE BUS it is filled with diversity that goes far beyond whatever makes it to the movies! Please give it a chance!

This hits me right in the homesick
Me @ people who organise their bookshelf by splitting up a series and placing the books out of chronological order:
I don’t understand why books have shifted from having summaries on the back of the covers to having one-line reviews.
Seriously though. I want to know what the book is about. Not that someone from the Evening Standard thinks it’s a masterpiece.
I have been waiting for this post my whole life.
y’all scream about supporting bi girls right up until they date men
someone: talks
me:
GOOD DOG
All the prettiness. I judged these books by their covers and won ;)
fewer bisexuals who are suave and seductive
more bisexuals who are incredibly awkward around their same-sex crushes b/c they were never taught how to flirt in gay
every bisexual who reblogged this feels specifically individually targeted by this post
The phantom of the opera
let 👏 bisexual 👏 girls 👏 love 👏 boys
LET 👏 BISEXUAL 👏 GIRLS 👏 LOVE 👏 BOYS
who’s stopping them
Lesbians who say they’ll never date a girl that has touched a man. People that say bi girls will cheat because they’re bi. There’s so much biphobia not only with straight people, but in the gay community
my lesbian friends who told me they were “high-key disappointed” when i started dating a cishet boy. my ex girlfriend who asked me “wait weren’t you gay” and then when i explained i was bi went “um. ew lol”. the whole “gold star lesbian” bullshit. can we face the biphobia in the lgbt community instead of shoving it under the rug lol
I’ve seen and reblogged this for the boy version as well, so it’s only fair if I do it for girls as well!!
LET 👏 GIRLS 👏 LOVE 👏 WHOEVER 👏 THEY 👏 LOVE
reblog if your blog is an lgbtq+ safe zone
It’s so nice to take a day off from work and writing my dissertation to just relax and read! I’ve just started my third Daphne du Maurier book, hopefully I’ll love it just as much as Rebecca and Jamaica Inn. Also I just really appreciate these Virago Modern Classics editions, what a beautiful cover!
I'm so in love with this book it's not even funny. Sorry for the cat pyjamas, I was to excited to take a beautiful photo.

This is the greatest post I have ever laid eyes upon.
HONESTLY.
