Ilvermorny School Uniform
The official uniform of Ilvermorny follows, with the number of items each student is required to have each year:
5 plain white collared shirts
5 navy blue slacks and/or skirts (any student can choose any at any time)
Two striped cranberry-and-blue neckties
Two sweater vests (students may choose between cranberry, blue, or one of each)
Cranberry and blue robes with a Gordian Knot clasp
The outer robe may be swapped for a cranberry or blue blazer
One black or blue pointed hat
When students arrive in their common rooms the first day of term, all vests and blazers that do not already bear the student’s House Crest will be given it, and likewise with the Ilvermorny Crest on the robes.
Students are required to wear their uniform, including the robes, to all formal occasions, such as school-hosted parties and feasts. They must also wear their uniforms to classes, but unless the teacher also requires the robes, they may choose whether or not to wear them.
Students should also bring a winter cloak, but the colors and style are not monitored.
Shoes are not monitored, so long as they comply with the dress code. However, shoes must be closed-toed for certain classes, such as Care of Magical Creatures, Potions, Herbology, etc.
Students may wear anything they’d like (complying with the school dress code) outside of class and formal events.
