Finished! This painting came out very purplely which is my favorite color to work with. And blue hair too. =) I found a hair brush that I love working with too.

I'm working on approaching my digital painting the same way I do my traditional art. I star off with the painting before I finish the line so I can make sure that the proportions of the drawing look corrected.
I hope everyone has a happy new year!!! 😀🎉

Some of my art was flagged for adult content even thought I don’t draw adult art. I sent an email to Tumblr to get the post reviewed but to be on the safe side, I wanted to leave a link to my social media sites in case my art blog disappears.

Thank you for all your support!
It's been a while since I sketched with a brush pen and I'm happy with the results. 😀 I'm visiting @jenroseyokel and @chrisyokel in Massachusetts right now and the weather's chilly right now so I wanted to draw warm cloths.

Blue Sea Slug Mermaid! 😀 I had a lot of fun coming up with her fin design to keep it similar to the sea creature she was inspired by. Blue is also my favorite color, so it was a lot of fun working with all the different shads of blue.
Finished the eel mermaid. Next mermaid will be the mermaid I will paint is the blue sea slug. It was fun doing the mermaid challenge because I got go challenge myself to draw different types of mermaids.⠀ ⠀ I also discovered that when I copy my background layer, place it on top of the drawing and lower the opacity makes it look more like she's under water. ⠀ ⠀
I decided to redraw the clown fish mermaid because her proportions were a little off and I wanted to draw a more lively looking pose. I’m happier with the way this drawing turned out. :)
I’m also really enjoying using Autodesk Sketchbook since they made their program available for free. The synthetic brushes are really nice to paint with.
I mostly post on Instagram, but I want to go back to posting on Tumblr again so people can see the full version of a drawing.
During the month of May, I joined an art challenge called MerMay, where artist draw a mermaids during the month of May I didn’t have a lot of time to do a full painting in one day but I decided to paint some of my favorite mermaids. This one’s a tiger shark mermaid. I thought it would be fun to do some mermaid base sharks because their fins looked fun to draw. :)
Felt like drawing a spring themed goth girl with a bunny. 🙂🐇
I had a Mermaid doodle that I felt like going back and coloring for the fun of it. I really love inking with color lines lately.
Happy Sunday everyone! I hope you’re all doing well! It’s been a while since I’ve posted on Tumblr because I found out that Instagram was a better platform to share art on the internet. Though I feel like there are things I still love about Tumblr so I’m thinking about using this more for when I want to share some art that’s too big for Instagram and photo sets. This goth girl started off as a simple messy pen doodle in my sketchbook and I decided to turn her into a finished painting in ArtRage. I’m really happy with the way the watercolor brushes turned out! It makes me want to go back using ArtRage more often.

She's finally finished! I created some fan art of Madoka referencing a scene from the Madoka Magica concept movie. I'm super excited about seeing more Madoka Magica animation though I have a feeling it's going to be a long wait before it comes out. Hahahaha.
This painting is suppose to go with my Madoka Magica Rebellion fan art I did not to long ago. I'm happy that this painting turned out a brighter because Madoka is always portrayed as a lighter character then Homura who's more of a darker character.
I did a screen recording of both paintings and plan on uploading them in the future so I can share the painting process of both illustrations.
Homura's finished! I had a lot of fun painting her. I always liked working in black, white, and a little color because it makes important features in the painting stand out more. ⠀ ⠀
