I have something of a trend when it comes to my favourite characters in MXTX novels

(not including svss because I've barely started it eheh)

1. Mu Qing and Jiang Cheng; assholes who deserved better. Both used to be close with the mc, and I stand by both of them being in the right like 70% of the time.

2. Shi wudu and Nie huaisang; they both have fans. So does shi qingxuan, but like - everyone mentions that. Shi wudu fan appreciation. Oh, also both of them have... Dubious morals?? I mean, nie huaisang isn't quite as much of an asshole but still. And finally both obviously really cared about their sibling a lot.

I... I have no connections for my 3rd favorites. Pei Ming and Xue Yang are just so different lmao.

Was about to read svsss without spoiling myself for once, but decided to look at the tag quickly and - I may not have spoilt anything but god am I 10x more terrified about what this novel has to bring

I really should be used to it, considering I've read mxtx's other novels, too. And don't get me wrong, I love them, but at the same time some plot points make me wonder what they were on when writing it.
