I've been acting like a fool for days now and I can't stop thinking about just holding their hands

I've never been so flustered before and I can't shut up about them to my friends and I LOOK SO STUPID because I can't get a single sentence out without blushing and giggling like crazy

Thinking about relationships in my tgcf dr

In heaven I got engaged to Feng Xin, after I chose to become banished he sided with heaven, of course it hurt but I understand why he couldn't choose me at the time, and he eventually made up for it when we were helping Xie Lian and I'm happy to get to live out the rest of our lives together

Mu Qing wasn't someone I was close to in heaven, he was my future husband's rival so we didn't talk much, but after we met while helping Xie Lian we got closer and ended up as good friends until we also fell in love

Hua Cheng became my friend after I was banished from heaven, at first it was just a mutual respect but it became a close friendship and now I'm happy to say he's my best friend

Xie Lian used to feed me in the gardens of the palace in Xianle when I was just a regular fox, I never met him in heaven since I ascended after he left the first time, but he sought refuge in my temples a few times and he's always been respectful when it comes to my dislike for the gods and heaven, we met a few times before his third ascension and I'll always be happy that I chose to join Hua Cheng when he looked for Xie Lian

I've been going crazy over mine and Feng Xin's divorce arc™️ these past few days because from everyone else's perspective it's tragic but then to us it's something that gets resolved so fast

("fast" being like 50 years)

" That trickster spirit... Just how does a mere spirit manage to get a following as impressive as a high ranking god ? "

I am more known by my godly name, Sheng Yu, I was once a god in heaven but their rules held me back so I willingly allowed myself to be banished to the mortal realm so I could continue watching over my followers.

That Heavenly Emperor is surely upset with me, he did ruin my greatest temple after my banishment... The fool, did he really think I would allow that just because I'm not a god anymore? I burned down fifty of his temples that night. I care not about becoming his enemy, I won't allow any harm to come to my followers.

Sheng Yu, also known as the Rainfall Fox, the most well known huli jing. It's said that before she ascended she lived as a regular fox in the kingdom of Xianle, some even say it was the crown prince Xie Lian who gave her the name Ling Zhi.

She ascended 800 years ago, only a few years after the fall of Xianle, but it's rumoured that she's even older than that. Her domains are mainly health and prosperity, each year she blesses her followers crops with rain and her capital even holds a festival each year once the rain season arrives.

Although she renounced godhood she hasn't lost any power, if anything she's gotten stronger due to her worshippers unwavering faith in their goddess. She's close with the ghost king Hua Cheng, of course to heavens dismay, and while she doesn't permit heavenly officials to enter her territory without reason she's always accepting of people seeking refuge around her temples, even if they're not her followers.

I'd never say I regret my decision to leave heaven, but even an old fox can admit when she misses certain people. Shi Qingxuan was a good friend of mine, and I miss teasing Feng Xin and Mu Qing... At least I can see Xie Lian in the mortal realm whenever I want, to think he's ascended a third time.

I heard Hua Cheng is going to look for him, I might just go with him, I could always just stay in my fox form to draw less attention to us, who knows, maybe we'll end up going on a ton of fun adventures !
