The Sleeping Snake

Sebastian had a bad habit of keeping him up late, but if he didn't keep his best friend in check, he'd be in more trouble than ever. Ominis, exhausted from countless nights with Sebastian & bored to death by Professor Bins, couldn't take it anymore. It was an unusually warm autumn day & sunny outside too. The castle was mostly empty anyway since it was a rare, nice day. "Okay, I need a nap." He found himself a quiet corner, curled up in the sun & fell asleep. One of the cats in the tower curled up next to him, purring away, deepening his slumber. He didn't know how long he'd be asleep for, but until the sun disappeared from the window, he was warm & happy. His serpent blood did make him cold-natured, but this was paradise for him today & he wasn't wasting it!
