A tiny collection dedicated to a man who's been living in my head rent free for years.
Honestly, it started because I randomly decided that watching his films on DVD would feel more atmospheric than streaming them. No idea where that thought came from. I probably saw somebody else's collection and went, "well... I do have a DVD player."
So I fixed my old DVD player myself and ordered my first one. The first Camargo film I watched that way was Harlem Aria. (And Dexter season 1, obviously. Moser pulled me in, Camargo made me stay.)
Somehow that turned into a collection.
It's still pretty small. I've mostly tried to collect things where he's actually on screen for more than five minutes. A few exceptions slipped through because apparently I have no self-control when it comes to this man. Oops. Not sorry.
The shirt in the photo is one I had made based on the one from MTV Fast Inc. I messed up the logo size a bit, so I'll probably redo it someday, but honestly I still love it.
I'd love to add the 2006 Fast Inc DVD to the collection one day, though finding a copy is a nightmare, especially from my corner of the world. If I ever get one, somebody can probably just bury me with it. Chris was an absolute menace in that.
I also wish more people talked about Camargo himself. There are plenty of posts about certain character, but finding things about the actor sometimes feels like digging for buried treasure. Maybe I'm looking in the wrong places. Who knows.
Anyway, just felt like sharing this little collection with people who might understand the obsession or special interest. Same thing at this point.
