Summary: nightmares have been following you since the battle with Quaritch
A/N: these days I’m really busy at uni, so I can’t write a lot😭 I see requests, so I’ll try to start them as soon as school gets easier!
Ma vitra - my soul
“No! Don’t touch them!”
You woke up in fear, screaming and crying. After the battle with Quaritch and all horrible things you’ve seen, nightmares have been following you. That day you almost lost your mate and your son was in danger, left in your marui with an old woman, while all of you were in the battlefield.
“Shh, it’s fine. We’re fine, y/n. We’re here, safe.” Neteyam already knows what to do when he sees you crying in the middle of the night. “Kamun is here, see?” We pointed at your son, peacefully sleeping in his cradle.
“I’m sorry…” you sighed, covering your face with hands and rubbing it. You know, that your nightmares bother not only you, but also Neteyam. He has to sleep well to be a strong warrior. “They tortured you and Kamun. Again. I can’t stop these nightmares.” Tears were streaming down your face. And your body started shaking in cry.
“That’s okay, ma vitra. I will always be with you and protect my family. One day you will sleep without nightmares, but now I’ll be the one who protects your sleep. I’m always with you and our son.” Neteyam hugged you softly, leaving a kiss on your forehead, while lullabying you. You hid your face in the crook of his neck, inhaling the smell of home.
Neteyam kept whispering calming words to you and you didn’t really payed attention to what he said. You focused on his soothing voice, that always could make you feel better.
“I love you, ma vitra. I’ll always be with you.”
You left a tender kiss on his lips. Being in his arms, feeling his heartbeat and breath, makes you feel protected. His arms are the safest place for you on Pandora.

Txe’lan - heart
Since you and Aonung officially got mated you didn’t have a lot of arguments. And if you had ones they weren’t really serious. Mostly they happened because you liked going out somewhere without letting him know about it and Aonung got really worried when he couldn’t find you. That was always the most serious case. You thought that it couldn’t get more serious, both of you are so understanding and hearing that you don’t have reasons for a huge argument. You were so wrong.
Today was the normal day. You were going to hang out with Tsireya and Sullys as usual. You all have fun, swim and collect pretty shells. Aonung was supposed to be with all of you, but his dad asked him and Neteyam to help other warriors to hunt. They couldn’t say no, moreover, it was an honor for them to be invited by the Olo’eyktan. You were used to it, so you let him go leaving a little kiss on his lips.
“Don’t get in trouble while I’m gone. Stay safe, okay?” In fact, Aonung was the one who is always worried about you. He knew you won’t do anything that puts your life in danger for fun. But he also knew that sometimes you don’t really think about potential consequences and that’s what gets you in trouble. “And what’s more important, don’t listen to Loak” you laughed at this. His expression was extremely serious when he said this. For you it wasn’t a big deal. What might happen? “I’m serious, y/n.”
Aonung looked straight into your eyes and you sighed understandable. You know that he worries about both of you.
“Please, take care of you too.” He gently places his big warm hand on your belly. It became his habit since you found out about your future baby.
“I will.” You put your hand over his and squeeze it a little.
He leaves a soft kiss and goes to his parents’ marui to join other warriors. For you this event was normal and you didn’t worry about it, but for Aonung, whose protectiveness increased twice since that evening when you found out about your pregnancy, it was a big deal. He didn’t want to leave you alone for long.
When he finally left your marui, you remembered that you wanted to see Ronal and ask her about the baby. Since it’s your first time being a mother you had a lot of questions and she was the only one who could answer them since nobody but her knew about this. You wanted to keep it as a secret for as long as possible.
“Hey, we want to go to see Payakan. Loak wants us to meet him.” Tuk came out of the blue as usual. “Come with us!”
You weren’t sure if it’s a good idea for you since Aonung asked you to stay safe. Going out of the reef, even though you’re Metkayina, can be dangerous for pregnant woman.
“I don’t think it’s a good idea…”
“C’mon! We’ve done this so many times, everything will be fine. And today is a special day, Payakan really wants to meet you all. Neteyam and Aonung will join us next time.” Loak was really excited about it, his eyes were almost shining, so you couldn’t say no.
“Okay, tulkun boy” you rolled your eyes sarcastically.
The closer you got to the tulkun, the more clearly you could see this red pierced thing. You didn’t understand what’s going on, but Loak found out quickly.
“Sky people did this! They’re coming, we need to take it out of him!” He was panicking, because of the fear for his spirit brother.
You immediately jumped on him and tried to help Loak to take it out, but nothing helped. Kiri and Tsireya joined you. Tuk started screaming and you got really scared.
“They’re here! Hurry up!”
Your heartbeat increased twice. You were afraid that it might be your last day, skypeople can do anything with all of you.
“Dad, they’re here! They shot Payakan and want to kill him. We’re trying to save him.” Loak used his neck microphone to call Jake.
“What?! Who’s there?” He was with other warriors and you knew Aonung hears everything.
“Me, y/n, Tsireya, Kiri and… Tuk.”
“Get out of there, now!” Jake immediately replied with worried tone in his voice.
“We’re will get out this thing and immediately go back yo the village.”
You tried to pull another time, but it didn’t help. Then you saw ilus and finally had the right idea. Guys tied the rope to your ilu and you tried to pull it all together. In less than a minute you managed to get it out. This GPS arrow was in your hands and you knew that they can detect you. And that’s why you tried to swim as far as possible from you village so that everyone will stay safe, especially Tuk. You just hope that other guys will go back to the village and you will manage to get out of this situation.
You don’t know how, yet.
“Oh Eywa, please help me!” You mumbled while trying to avoid corrals and plants. You also knew that right behind you there’s this huge machine chasing you and you don’t have right for mistake. The last minute your Ilu got so scared that it just left you the moment you lost your bond.
You have to survive for Aonung and the baby that you carry right under your heart.
You had no choice but to hide in the huge plant that had some air inside. You’d been swimming for too long to get them far from village. Before finding this plant, you threw that red GPS, hoping that they won’t keep chasing you after this.
Aonung’s pov:
“RDA are hunting for Tulkuns. Payakan is shot, they’re trying to save him.” Jake explained situation quickly while all men went back to the village.
Only question that Aonung had was about you and he didn’t want to know the answer. But he has to.
“Who’s there?”
“Loak, Kiri, Tuk, Tsireya and…” Jake looked cautiously at him before saying the last name. “Y/n”
“Fuck. I have to go there now.” Aonung raised his speed and changed direction straight to the reefs.
“What are you doing? Y/n is with them, they can handle it by the time we will come. She’s strong.” Tonowari tried to calm down his furious and anxious son.
“She’s pregnant.”
That’s all he said before leaving everyone in shock. When he got closer to the end of the reefs, he met Loak and the rest of the group except for you.
“Where’s she?” He was furious. In fact, he was scared deep inside. “I asked where is y/n!” He raised his voice like his father does and it shocked everyone. Nobody knew he can be that serious.
“She was distracting RDA. She’s supposed to come soon.” Loak said this like nothing serious happened, but Aonung’s face said that he fucked up.
“If something happens to her, I’ll kill you.” He pointed to his chest angrily and left without saying any other word.

You tried to calm down and make no noises so that RDA won’t find you. You’ve been staying here for too long and it seems that you won’t get out of here soon. Tears start to come, panic slowly takes over you.
“Aonung, I miss you.” You whispered starting crying. The thought that in the morning it was your last kiss with Aonung and you didn’t have a chance to say goodbye to him. You were supposed to have a baby and live a happy life, but it’s going to end today.
With the side vision you notice something moving towards you and you moved to the side, trying to save yourself. You wiped your tears and tried to pull yourself together as much as possible before RDA soldier will come for you. But before you could do or say anything, the familiar head appeared right in front of you.
“Aonung?” You were surprised to see him. He sighed in relief that you’re okay and right after it he got really serious.
“What the hell are you doing?!” He knew you must be stressed out, but couldn’t help it. “It’s been only a couple of hours and you already in trouble. Loak is supposed to protect everyone, not you!”
“I’m the eldest in our group, I had to take responsibility.” You didn’t want to have this conversation now, but there was no choice.
“Take responsibility for you own life first! How can you be a mother if you don’t know how to take care of yourself?” You didn’t expect him saying this and it hurt you. You lowered your head, not willing to continue this argument.
“I want to go home, Aonung.”
“Wheres your ilu?” He was still angry and you didn’t try to calm him down as usual. You also needed support. More than him.
“It got scared and left.” Your voice was really quiet.
“Okay, let’s go back home.”
Luckily, RDA left you and your way home was quick and safe. However, the tension between you two was almost visible. You hated it. It was the first time such thing happening in your relationship and you didn’t know what to do.
“My child, are you okay?” Ronal was the first one who noticed your arrival and came straight to you. She hold your hands, examining all your body for any wounds you luckily didn’t have. Everyone in the village looked at you with worry. Now they know about your baby.
“I’m fine, just got stressed a little. Thank you.” You slightly squeezed her hands and gave a tired smile.
“Okay, go rest then. If you need anything, just let me know.”
You nodded and Aonung took you to your Marui. All that time he didn’t say anything and that stressed you out even more than sky people.
“Aonung?” You asked tentatively, trying to catch his gaze.
“What?” His voice was sharp and it really made you upset. He never talked to you this way.
“Please, say something.” You tried to touch his shoulder, but he didn’t let you do this. You bit your lip, to stop yourself from crying, and sit on the floor. Otherwise, it might be hard for you to stand during the tornado that’s about to happen.
You needed his hug and love now. All you want now is to feel the warmth of you husband’s heart and body. He’s the one you could be vulnerable with, but now it’s not working.
“You want me to say something? I have a lot of things to say.” He looked at you seriously towering over you. “What did I ask you when before leaving?”
“Don’t get in trouble…” you felt like a little child who gets scolded by their parents.
“Don’t get in trouble. Which word in this sentence you didn’t understand? Do you even know how I felt when Jake said you’re chased by sky people or when I met Loak and others without you? You’re having our baby and you’re still acting like a 15 year old you. I thought we overcame this problem, but turned out we didn’t.” You were about to loose your last piece of calmness. Aonung is the most important person in your life, that’s why he’s the one who can either hurt and heal you easily.
“I thought I can loose you and you didn’t even think about it. You didn’t think about how I would feel myself if I see you dying or wounded. I could loose not only you, but our baby.” And this was your last straw. You broke in tears, letting out all emotions you suppressed until this moment.
You were crying, sobbing and shaking. Re-living that situation and remembering Aonung’s words again and again.
How can you be a mother if you don’t know how to take care of yourself?
I thought we overcame this problem, but turned out we didn’t.

“I’m sorry. I didn’t want this.” Aonung immediately sat down right in front of you, trying to calm you down. “I was scared that Tuk and other would get hurt. I didn’t want them to be captured by sky people.” Your eyes were full of sorry. This broke Aonung’s heart. “I know I don’t think think about the consequences in the moment, but I don’t do these things for nothing. I have reasons to act certain way and I’m sorry that I make you worry, but I also got really scared. I also thought that today might be the last day I kissed and touched you. I was scared to loose you too. But I don’t regret doing this and I would do it again if I have to. I better safe four lives for mine, than save my life for four others.” You tried to explain everything, sobbing and crying, while Aonung hugged and tapped your head softly. He knew he shouldn’t have to scold you. The first thing that he must did was to comfort you after that stress you’d gone through.
“I’m sorry, ma txe’lan, I’m sorry.” He whispered same words, while hearing you crying. “I’m sorry I couldn’t be there and help you. I’m sorry I didn’t think about your feelings and pressured you.”
You didn’t want to say anything, focusing on his soothing voice. With all tears your stress and tension in the body and mind were relieved. You two were still in each other’s hands, listening to your breathes, enjoying each others warm bodies. You’re alive. You’re still together. You’re still going to have a family.
“You’re my txe’lan, y/n. You own my life. If they take you from me, then they take my heart. Please, don’t let anybody do this to us.” Aonung was sitting and hugging for from behind, placing his head in you neck crook. It was your favorite pose, as you both could feel each other completely. “Can I…?”
“Yes”
You knew what he wanted to do. Some Navis think that young couples mostly love to feel each other sexually, but it’s not your and Aonung’s case. You enjoy your sexual journey with him, but the most precious moments are when you feel each other. Sitting in such pose in your marui or at the beach at night, looking at the sky and having tsaheylu. You don’t have to use it only during the adult time. You can use it just to feel your partner. And that’s what you do now.
You both need this, you need to make sure that you’re alright. Aonung takes your and his braids and makes a bond. Shivers go through your body. You feel his heartbeat, his breath, you don’t need words anymore.

Txe’lan - heart
“Ao’nung! Where’s Ao’nung?” You were running around the village, looking for him. You talked to Neteyam yesterday and he said that you need to confess your feelings despite the fact that he’s not really satisfied by her choice. He supported you. You’d been thinking about it almost all day and now you finally found the courage to do that.
“Why are you screaming?” Roxto noticed you, he came closer to you.
“Do you know where’s Ao’nung? I can’t find him.” You were anxious and excited at the same time.
“I think he went swimming. Last time I saw him, he was going to swim somewhere, but I’m not sure. It’s that way.” Roxto pointed in direction of that stone where you were together last time.
“Okay, thanks!” You didn’t want to loose time and ran to Ao’nung. You pray to Eywa he’ll be there by the time you’ll come.
Your way there didn’t take a lot since you used ilu for this. You could see Ao’nung’s figure sitting on the stone and looking at the sunset. Just like yesterday. His aquamarine eyes shining under the gold sunlight.
“Ao’nung!”
His thoughts were interrupted by your voice. At first he thought it was his imagination, but you called him second time. He tuned his head to you.
“Y/N? What are you doing here? Something happened?” He stood up, helping you to climb up and examining you. The first thought he had was that something bad happened to you. You looked really nervous.
“No, I just…” your breath was out of control, you needed some time to calm down. “I was looking for you, Ao’nung.”
His eyes widened, he felt something is coming. You were about to talk about that kiss and your feelings. And to be honest, Ao’nung was scared to death to hear your answer. He knew that his actions were too emotional and he didn’t think about consequences.
“Why?” He whispered, looking straight into your eyes.
“I wanted to tell you something.” You gently took his hands in yours.
Here we go.
His end.
“If you want to tell that you don’t want me to come close to you or something like that, please just go. I can’t bear these words.” He almost bagged you, slightly squeezing your hands.
”Do you have feelings to me?” Your heartbeat raised and you looked at him.
“I love you, Y/N.” His voice was so soft, it melted your heart.
“Because, I think… I don’t love you.”
That’s it.
His head and ears dropped, hands almost let go yours. Ao’nung could say that his heart stopped beating the moment you said these words.
“I don’t love you, but I definitely have feelings for you.” You just breathed life into him. You saved his heart and gave it hope. “I don’t know how it turned out after our past, but I think I have feelings for you. It’s not a strong one as love, but maybe…” you were too shy to tell this, avoiding his attentive gaze. “Maybe it’ll get stronger if I get to know you better.” By the end of this sentence, your voice almost tailed away. You were so afraid to look at Ao’nung and kept examining your fingers and ground, until his finder touched your chin and lifted your head.
“I will do anything to grow this feeling in your heart, Y/N. Just give me a chance, I won’t disappoint you. Not anymore.”
“I trust you my heart. Please, don’t hurt it.”
You were scared about unknown things that are going to happen between you and Ao’nung. You have no idea if your relationships will work. But you feel that you have to trust him. You have to give both of you this chance.
He looked you in the eye carefully. Trying to find answers for million questions in your amber eyes. His hands gently holding your face, thumb softly rubbing your cheek.
“I won’t, ma txe’lan. If I hurt you, I would suffer myself. I understood it the hard way.”
All you could do is nod, because tears were dripping down. This moment felt so special and intimate, you wished it never ended. Ao’nung leaned slightly towards your face, covering you with his breath.
“May I do the first step?”
“Yes.” You whispered, trying to remember every detail of this moment.
He slowly approached to you and you closed your eyes. At the same second you could feel his warm lips on yours. Butterflies in your stomach woke up. His lips softly crushed yours, Ao’nung didn’t want to put pressure on you and tried to be gentle as you’re the most fragile flower he’d ever seen.
When both of you were out of breath, you leaned your foreheads against each other. Bright smiles lighted you faced. You shared you breathes. Your hearts beat in unison.
And even if you don’t have strong love to him, everything is obvious.
You’re connected.
Forever.
“I see you”

“Now you can’t call me helpless, water boy.” After finally learning how to ride ilu, you were really playful, swimming with Ao’nung.
“Yeah, that’s because I was your teacher. Otherwise you would be helpless.” Light smile was on his face as he was talking to you. “Hey, who first reaches that stone will be the winner!”
It was really sudden game, but you managed to react fast. Even though your swimming skills improved significantly, you still were far from Ao’nung’s skills. He was way faster and was already standing on that huge stone and looking down at you. His skin was lighter on the sun.
“Come here, I’ll help you” you were about to thank him, but then he added “Loser” and chuckled at your unpleased face.
“Hey! You’re stronger than me and you are water na’vi. I’ll look at you running on the trees and trying to keep your balance with that thick tail!” You pushed his shoulder a little when he helped you to climb up.
“Yeah, I would probably be loser in the forest. I remember you almost killing me that day, I didn’t even recognize you at first. You were in your element and I understood that you’re actually strong. Surprisingly, not really loser.” Ao’nung laughed at last sentence and you pushed him again, but also had fun.
“Yeah, forest is my home. I don’t know how it is possible for people to claim that sea is their home. We’re actually different as you said before.” You sat on the warm stone and looked at the sunset.
“Yes, but we’re still all na’vis, children of Eywa and I didn’t understand it before.” Ao’nung joined you, you were so close that your shoulders were touching each other. “Y/N, you know I’m really sorry what what I did and said. Even though you said you forgave me, I, myself cannot forget it.” His aquatic eyes were looking far at the horizon.
“You don’t need to forget it, you must forgive yourself. I forgive you, but I will never forget about it and that’s not bad. You need to learn from your and others’ mistakes. It is your life and experience. But it is also your choice how to react on all these things happening to you. I could choose not to forgive you and I would be a lifelong burden for both of us. You could choose to be blind and not see anything wrong in your actions and it would break me and my family more and more. But we made our decisions and we’re here now, being friends and having this conversation. It is because we choose peace. Inside us and around us.” You placed your hand on his chest, explaining your thoughts and forgetting about boundaries.
Ao’nung didn’t respond to you, but placed his hand over yours on his chest. You looked up at him and met his gaze. It was so intimate, you could feel the whole atmosphere between you changing vitally. You wanted to remove your hand, but he didn’t let you do this, holding it solidly.
“What are you doing, Ao’nung? Why are you looking at me like this?” All your confidence and playfulness disappeared.
You could feel him examining you. Your eyes, your hair, you lips, your hands. Ao’nung wanted to look at you all day long. Enjoying your beauty and wisdom. You captured his heart, his soul not even knowing about it.
“If you were the Sun, I would burn my eyes but keep looking at you every day. If you were a bird, I would spend all days in the forest listening to you.” He took your other hand, stroking it softly. “I know I hurt you deeply and I know it might be too early to say that as we’ve recently just came to peace. But I don’t know how I can live another day keeping it inside. You told that it is my choice how to react on things happening to me. This thing has been making me crazy for so long and I finally made my choice, Y/N.”
You felt your heart blowing inside of you. You didn’t know what to do or to say. Ao’nung was looking at you for a couple of seconds and then his face got as close to yours that you could feel his warm breath. Your knees felt weak at that type of closeness. One second and he leaves a little kiss in the corner of your lips.
Your eyes widened, breath is our of control. He looks right into your eyes, trying to catch your emotions. Ao’nung is also nervous, but he can’t show it to you since he is a future warrior, Olo'eyktan of the Metkayina. He wants to look strong and mighty in front of you.
“Y/N…”
“I… I need…” all words left your mind “I need to think it over.”
And you left him, running away from that stone. You didn’t even notice how you ended up riding ilu back to your marui. Your heartbeat was going crazy every time you remembered his lips on yours.
“What’s going on..?” You placed your hand on your heart trying to calm down. “Why my heart is beating so fast?”
“Y/N, are you okay?”
Mother’s voice distracted you. She knew something was wrong, you looked shocked. Even your hands were shaking a little.
“What happened? Someone annoyed you?”
“No, I just… I think I have feelings, but I’m not sure.” Neytiri led you to the Marui, looking at you worried.
“You mean feelings to a boy?”
“Yes, he kissed me.” It was hard for you to tell the truth, especially to your mom. You were embarrassed.
“Who was that?” Neytiri was actually excited to know that you’re getting used to the life here. You build your own story here.
“I’m not ready to tell it yet. But I don’t know what to do. He kissed me in the corner of my lips and I ran away. Is he going to hate me?” Helpless look on your face made your mom feel the wave of love. You’re still a kid who is getting through first romantic feeling.
“It’s okay, don’t worry. If he had true feelings to you he won’t be mad.” Her words easined your heart. “But you have to talk to him and explain everything, if you really value him.”
“Okay, thank you sa’nu.” You hugged Neytiri. You really needed it. “I will go for a walk. I need to think about everything.”
“Okay, but don’t be out for too long. You better be home before the eclipse.”

You’d been sitting in your place in the forest for the past 2 hours and trying to understand what you feel. That kiss put you out of your stride completely. You wouldn’t even think about having feelings to Ao’nung if he didn’t do this.
These days, every time you got physically close to each other you felt a little awkward and shy which is unusual for you. This never happened with Roxto or other guys.
“Do I like him?” As you asked yourself you felt your heartbeat increasing.
“Y/N, what are you doing here? We’ve been looking for you.” You saw Neteyam coming out from the bushes.
“Sorry, I was just thinking, this place is peaceful.” You moved a little to let your brother sit next to you. “I thought it’s my secret place, but I guess it’s not.”
“Yeah, sorry.” He looked at you apologizing. “What are you thinking about? I see you’re worried.”
“I don’t think you would like to hear it.”
“C’mon, I’m your big brother. I won’t get mad, promise.” He patted you on the head, waiting for your speech.
“I think, I have feelings to Ao’nung.” you were really cautious when revealed the truth. “He kissed me today and I don’t know what to do.”
You were afraid to look at him. Silence made you nervous.
“I see.”
Neteyam looked thoughtful. You had no idea what’s going on in his mind. For you his opinion on this was the most important. You really needed his support as an older brother.
“Talk to him.”

“It’s fine, you’ll be fine.”
You don’t know how it happened, but you are cuddling up to Ao’nung's warm chest. His arms hugging you and body softly swaying to calm you down. He whispers random words to make you feel better, but you don’t really listen to them, swallowed by thoughts.
“Don’t worry. I’m here, you’ll be fine. They don’t hate you.”
“He’s disappointed. I betrayed him.” You kept crying and shaking.
“Shhh, he’s not. It’s fine.” His hug was so warm and comfortable, you almost fell asleep after you finally calmed down. You had no tears and emotions left after this. You felt even more drained than before fight with Ao’nung.
Fighting with family is against your nature.
“I’m sorry, Ao’nung. I wasted your time…” you said as you tried to stand up and clean yourself up.
“No you didn’t. Don’t worry about it. I’m glad I could be here to support you.” He suggested his hand for you to stand up properly and couldn’t help but rub your hand with his thumb a little. You blushed at this action and lowered your gaze. It felt intimate. The whole situation was intimate.
“Thank you, Ao’nung. I’m really thankful for this.”
“You shouldn’t be. I owe you and I’m not sure if one apology can make up everything I said and did to you. I was a real skxawng and asshole.” You chuckled a little at his last words, kept sniffling a little after tears.
“Yeah, you were worse that skxawng. But I accept your apologies. I’m glad you understood that your actions weren’t good. Just don’t make same mistakes and let’s live in peace.” You gave him a soft smile, looking right into his eyes. Ao’nung didn’t expect you to forgive him so easily. “Friends?” You opened your arms for him to hug. Ao’nung was numb, trying to process what did you just said and expect him to do.
Friends… at least friends.
“Friends.” He smiled a little and came closer to wrap his arms around you as gentle as you were the more fragile thing in the world. “Thank you, Y/N.”

“Neteyam, what happened? Where’s your sister?” Neytiri was worried about the the state of her son and the fact that he didn’t bring you with him. He was really angry and didn’t want to tell anything.
“Ask your daughter. She knows everything better than us.”
“Why do you say that? Tell me what happened? Did you argue?”
You entered your family pod at exact same moment Neteyam was about to tell about your argument.
“She will tell you.” He looked at you offensively and turned back. You brows were drawn together in sadness as you looked at him and remembered his words.
“Y/N, what happened?”
“I met with Ao’nung.” Silence in the room made you nervous but you kept going. “He asked me for forgiveness and I accepted his apologies. Before you say anything about it I want to let you know that he understood everything and sincerely wishes to live in peace. I saw it in his eyes, he changed.” You tried to sound confident though you were afraid to see regret in your mother’s eyes. That’s why you didn’t look at her. You don’t have courage for this, not after Neteyam’s words.
Nobody said anything. You nervously clenched your fingers. One minute of silence felt like century.
“Do you believe him?”
“I do.”
“Then I believe you, my daughter.”
You looked at Neytiri in disbelief and gratitude. You needed this. Trust. That’s what Neteyam didn’t give to you, but you don’t blame him. He suffers as much as you.
“Thank you, sa’nu.” You hugged her so hard, letting out all bad feelings that you carried for so long. Tears started falling down again and you didn’t try to stop it. You needed this, you needed to go through all this pain to heal. And finally, that’s the moment of it.
“Tsmukan…” you called Neteyam hesitantly, being afraid of his reaction. “I’m sorry, I didn’t mean to…”
“I know. I’m sorry too. I was listening only my emotions, but not you. That wasn’t right, my yawntutsyip.” He gave you his big brother smile that filled your heart with warmth.
You finally in peace.
Not in pieces.
“Oel ngati kameie, ma metiyawn”

After that day, you felt like you started a new life. You negative thoughts don’t bother you anymore and you feel like you can be yourself. The rest of the family reacted positively on your conversation with Ao’nung. Lo’ak tried to “talk” to him once again, but you and Neteyam could stop him and change his mind.
“Y/N, let’s try once again. I’m sure you can do it.” Tsireya volunteered to teach you how to ride ilu today and everything was good except the fact that you still couldn’t keep in your seat.
“Do you still believe I can do this?” You chuckled but came closer to the creature and took a position.
“I promise it’s the last time for today. Don’t move fast, hold her firmly”
You tried to follow her advice but your attempt wasn’t successful as the previous ones. Splashed the water out of irritation. What’s wrong with you? Why is it so difficult to ride an ilu?
“Forest girl is still trying to tame our creatures?” Ao’nung smirked, coming closer to you. You know that he didn’t mean anything bad by saying these words. “I’ll teach you. If you won’t learn how to do it with my help, then nobody can teach you.” Tsireya rolled her eyes. You smiled at Ao’nung greeting him.
“I’ll leave you” Tsireya called her ilu to come back to the village.
“You better check on Lo’ak he was about to try to ride tsurak, but I don’t think he’ll do that without his ass being kicked.” You all laughed at this.
Once you left alone, Ao’nung called ilu for you. You sighed exasperatedly getting ready for another fail.
“Don’t make these sounds. I won’t let you go without trying at least ten times.”
“What? Do you want to exhaust me to death?”
He laughed at your comment and you really liked being friends with him. You could make funny comments about each other and there was no tension between you two anymore.
“Okay, firstly, you need to change your posture.” His big hand moved your leg a little and slightly straightened your back. “Secondly, you have not only ride her slowly, but also hold with two hands at first. You’re only beginner, don’t hesitate to use two hands.” While he was speaking, he took your second hand and placed it on another. You started feeling a little weird… shy. “And finally, you have to calm down. Breathe in slowly and breathe out slowly.” His hand now moved to your stomach, checking out your breathing. You felt goosebumps going down your spine. “Don’t panic, relax. Remember, ilu wants you to be her rider. If you feel uncomfortable, she also feels uncomfortable. You can do that, just don’t be afraid.”
You followed his advices and told ilu to ride. Surprisingly it wasn’t really fast and you could hold in a seat longer than usual. You were so excited that lost control over it and ended up losing your tsaheylu, but you didn’t care about it anymore.
“Did you see? Did you see it Ao’nung?” Bright smile on your face made his heartbeat go crazy. You were so excited about it and he was barely holding himself from kissing you. In fact, the only thing he could do was to smile at you back.
“You did a great job, Y/N. You’re not as hopeless as I thought.” You slightly punched his shoulder and laughed. “Want to try it again?”
“And you ask?”

“You lost their trust, I understand them. You really need to try hard just to get her forgiveness.” Tsireya tried to cheer up Ao’nung, he came to her asking for an advice, which is not normal for him.
“I try, but I don’t believe she’ll even forgive me.”
Ao’nung couldn’t do anything properly after that day. When he saw you so small, broken and vulnerable... You were crying in Neteyam’s hands, needed to be protected. He realized why he did these things to you. And that’s so stupid of him, so stupid.
He liked you.
But just like an ignorant child he didn’t understand it and tried to bully you. And who’s skxawng now? He so fucked up. Now you don’t even want to look at him, nobody lets him even breath towards you.
Sully’s really stick together, because otherwise he doesn’t know how they’re always end up around you. Especially, when he tries to talk to you. Oh Eywa, how many times he tried to do that.
“You can leave her message. I think that would work, you won’t have to come close to her, just do it secretly.”
Ao’nung’s eyes widened in surprise. His sister is really smart. He will leave something at Y/N’s place so that nobody but her can take it. That thought cheered him up a little. He would be happy just to get your forgiveness, even if you won’t be friends after it. But he would fight till the end of his days to get closer to you.

“What’s this?” you mumbled looking at little necklace and a small piece of wood with something written on it lying on the stone covered with soft grass.
Who did that? How did they find this place? Even your family doesn’t know where you go every day. Only one person can do this.
“Ao’nung?” You’re completely confused by this whole situation.
You came closer to these things and started to read the message. It was short, but you didn’t want it to be too long, since it’s probably from him.
I’m sorry. Let me talk to you.
Today, here at the sunset.
You bit your lips nervously, heart pounding like crazy. What do you feel? There’s a tornado of emotions going through your fragile soul. You’re scared, nervous, sad, but also… interested? These past weeks showed you that he wants to do something with it. Maybe he even regrets it. So why don’t you check it out?
You can’t help but doubt your decision throughout the day. Neteyam noticed you being too pensive and silent today, which never meant anything good. Especially, after the recent events.
“What’s wrong?” he waited until both of you will be alone in your marui to have a comfortable conversation.
“Nothing, I’m just thinking.” That was true, you just didn’t specify what you were thinking about.
“What makes you think that hard?” He tried to chuckle a little to lighten up the conversation, but you knew he wanted to know the details.
“Tsmukan… you know me. I just think about everything. About our family, about our home, about my feelings. And yes, I think about what happened, but there’s nothing to worry about.” You tried to calm down Neteyam, but he still had things to say.
“That’s exactly why I’m worried. That day I asked you if you’re okay, but you didn’t tell anything and look what happened. I don’t want to see my sister completely broken again. Don’t lie to me, you didn’t act like that for the past week.” His voice got a little rough as he remembered that day. Yeah, he was angry, but that’s only because he loved you.
“I’m fine, okay? Don’t make a drama of it. I don’t want to discuss my thoughts with you now. Let me think it out by myself if you trust me as your sister.” You also got a little annoyed by this conversation. You didn’t want to lie to him, but you had no choice. If any of your family will find out about your plans, they’ll tie you to the house.
Neteyam realized that he went a little hard on you and sighted in defeat. His big hands pulled you closer to him and hugged in a big brother way. You closed your eyes and wrapped you hands around his waist.
“I promise, I’ll tell you if something goes wrong, tsmukan.”
“I trust you, yawntutsyip”

The closer you got to your place, the more nervous you were. What if he’ll tell you bad things again? What would you do? Definitely won’t be able to protect yourself.
“Don’t be weak, Y/N!” You mumbled, trying to motivate yourself. “You’re warrior, protect yourself.”
You were so into cheering up yourself, that difficult notice a little branch on the ground and tripped over it, almost falling down. You would be injured if someone didn’t hold you.

You slowly looked up at him, eyes widened in shock. All previous thoughts left your mind, leaving only basic ones.
He’s strong and dangerous
You suddenly flinched back, surprising both of you. Ao’nung didn’t want you to run away again, so he made some steps back to ensure you that he came in peace.
“Y/N, I don’t want to hurt you again.”
He raised his hands, showing that everything will be fine. You looked at him suspiciously, folding your arms over your chest not because you’re angry at him, but because you don’t want him to see your hands shaking.
“What do you want to tell me? If you intend to fight with me again, don’t do this. I’m really tired of all these fights.”
At that moment you wanted to cry. Looking at him, made all feelings that were asleep deep in your soul wake up again. Eyes became like two sparkling crystals.
“I’m- I’m sorry.” He cleared his throat. “Y/N, I’m really sorry for everything I said and did to you and your family. I was a real asshole and I didn’t understand it, I’m so sorry for this. I don’t hope for you to be my friend, but I hope to get at least the slightest chance to be forgiven. I won’t hurt you or your family again. Please, let me make it up for you and maybe get your trust. Please.”
You were too stunned to say something. Eyes are watery, you look at him trying to find words, but nothing happens. Ao’nung gets nervous as he sees how tears appear in your eyes. He’s wondering if he said something wrong.
“Y/N…” he started but was interrupted by someone’s hold on the back of his neck.
“Don’t worry, tsmukan. I’m fine, tsmukan. What’s what my trust means to you?”
Neteyam stood in front of you, holding Ao’nung firmly and completely furious. Disbelief and pain of betrayal in his eyes makes it hard to look at him. You don’t want to argue with him, but you know that you didn’t mean to upset him.
“Neteyam…”
“What? What lies do you want to tell me this time?” You whimpered a little, not being able to bare this tone. “All of us are trying to protect you, keep you safe and happy. Even Tuk worries about you, she couldn’t sleep when she knew that you’re hurt. Our mother is always looking for you or asks me to take care of you while she’s busy. Our dad feels guilt because he didn’t protect you when he could. All of us loose our nerves and sleep just so you go and see him secretly? We ask you only one thing. To stay away from him. And you disobeyed.” As he started to talking about Tuk, you bursted into tears. You didn’t know this, you didn’t want to hurt your family. “And you. Wasn’t it enough for you to understand that you have no right to even look at my sister? Your dad’s words mean nothing for you?” Neteyam finally payed attention to Ao’nung.
“I didn’t want to hurt you, Neteyam. All of you, I’m sorry. I’m so sorry. That’s not why I am here, let me explain.” Trembling voice was like a knife cutting a heart for Neteyam, but he was also hurt and tired.
“I don’t need your explanations. I’m very disappointed in you.”
“Stop it!” Ao’nung got angry seeing this scene. Neteyam did the same thing that. He hurt you with words. “You are not any better then me. She’s not okay and you keep doing this to her. Stop being so dramatic and listen!”
“I won’t listen to you. You’ve done enough!” Atmosphere in this place really so tensed, you could feel it in the air.
“She has nothing to do with it. I asked her to come here to apologize because you and your little brother don’t let me do that! Do you think we can just forget about it without talking it out? Both Y/N and me need this conversation to keep living without burden on our hearts! Use just a little of your common sense, you skxawng!”
Instead of answering, Neteyam punched Ao’nung angrily. Emotions took over both of them. That Ao’nung’s their last piece of patience towards Neteyam. They started fighting as their lives depended on it. You were terrified of their fight, crying and trying to call them out.
But they didn’t hear you.
Then you tried to pull Neteyam back and separate from Ao’ung who was laying under him. Nothing helped, you were afraid this may be fatal.
“Stop it! Neteyam, stop! Why are you doing this?!”
You hit his back hard enough to get back his attention. He was breathing heavily and still looking at you angrily.
“Are you on his side? Really?”
“I’m not choosing sides. Let me talk to him.”
Tears falling down your cheeks, voice is quiet. You can’t see your brother, lovely tsmukan, looking at you this way.
Oh Eywa, why do you give me so many challenges?
“Okay. I see.”
He silently stood up and left this place, giving you the last disappointed look that made you fall on your knees and cry for help of Eywa.

When Neytiri and Jake saw you in a complete mess on Neteyam’s hands, they thought something bad happened with you in the water.
Kiri and Lo’ak explained what happened without hiding any details. Neytiri was so furious that she was ready to take her bow and fight this little ignorant boy. She knew that he was annoying her kids, but didn’t expect it to be as bad as it turned out. On the other hand, there was Jake. He was furious too, he knew that his attitude towards all situations when Ao’nung annoyed his kids caused it. He shouldn’t have told his kids to respect him just because he’s Olo’eyktan’s son. That was his fault.
“Tonowari must know what his son did.” Neytiri was crying like any mother who sees her child in pain. Especially that type of pain which you cannot see. “Ma Jake, tell something! We can’t let that go. My daughter is hurt and only Eywa knows if she’ll be able to heal!”
Jake looked at her and all his kids, who were waiting for his response. Neteyam was still holding you like a baby while you were sleeping. His daughter, his little yayo. He has to protect you.
“I’ll talk to Tonowari.”
“I’ll go with you.” Neytiri wanted to talk to Ronal and say her all this she had to carry inside of her soul since they arrived here.
Jake didn’t want her to come, he knew that she was extremely emotional now. He gave her a look asking if he’s sure it’s the right thing. Neytiri was determined to do that.
“Wait here, take care of your sister.”

“I’ll talk to him and he’ll be punished for his actions. I’m really sorry for what happened. I didn’t raise him this way. I hope Y/N will forgive him one day.”
Toniwari and Ronal were in a huge shock when Jake told them what Ao’nung did. The shame Olo’eyktan and his Tsahik felt wasn’t even close to the amount of pain Jake and Neytiri had to carry.
“Don’t ever let him come to my daughter again! If I notice him even thinking about coming to her, I swear I will not control myself.”
“Neytiri...” Jake didn’t want relationship with leader’s family to worsen.
“She’s right. He should stay away from her. I don’t want him to hurt an innocent soul again. I promise, we’ll look after him.” Ronal knew how Neytiri must feel herself now. “I promise as mother to mother. If you need help, tell me.”
Neytiri just nodded, she was still not over her emotions. But she was thankful for this. Ronal was the only one who could understand her at least a little.

It’s been two weeks since your breakdown. These two weeks you’ve been taken care by your whole family and you barely walked out of your Marui. You felt like you were dried out. No emotions at all. Jake and Neytiri were extremely worried about your mental state. You barely talked to anyone, even Kiri, and preferred to do things on your own.
Neteyam didn’t even think about keeping your lessons on ilu riding. He tried to catch your interest on other things, but nothing caught your eye. Even Tuk tried to ask you questions to talk just a little. You had no energy to keep the conversation and pay proper attention to your little sister.
“Let’s go find some seashells?” Tuk didn’t give up on you.
“Tuk, I have no strength to do that. I’m tired.” You felt really bad every time you refused Tuk, but you couldn’t help it.
“Neteyam and Lo’ak are hunting, Kiri as usually disappeared. Mom and dad don’t let me do there alone. Please, I need you.” She started whimpering and shaking your hand.
“Okay, okay. But only for 30 minutes.”
“Thank you, I love you! Best sister ever!” Seeing Tuk jumping in happiness and saying those words warmed your heart. You smiled a little at the scene of here trying to find her little bag for seashells.
Once you went out of your house, you squinted because of the sunlight. These two weeks definitely affected you. The warmth of the sun and brightness of azure water reminds you of how you loved Pandora.
Tuk was holding your hand and trying to hurry you up to the shore. It became her hobby since you arrived here. Each in your family has at least one bracelet she made out of shells.
“I’ll sit here, you can go. Call me if you need help.” You were sitting exactly as that day with Kiri. The feeling of light waves surrounding you, calmed you a little. You were watching Tuk swimming and looking for colorful seashells. Sometimes she was distracted by some fish. As you were supervising little sister, you fell deep into thoughts and remembered that day. Sadness you felt all these days became more explicit.
You don’t know how to explain this sadness and why you feel it. You should be angry, offended, but not sad. Ao’nung said horrible things to you, but you’re not angry. Why?
“Oh Great Mother, help me. Let me come over this. I want to be happy again.” You whispered to yourself, feeling the tear falling to the water.
“Y/N…?”
Him.
You feel nervousness raising up in your body. Eywa must be testing you. You’re afraid to turn your head to Ao’nung.
“Please, don’t do this to me again. I can’t bear it anymore.” Your voice was trembling a little, but it was enough for him to understand your state. Especially, when he finally looked at you. Your eyes were like a glass, but without even a little sparkle.
He was standing about 2 meters away from you to keep distance.
“Y/N, I wanted…”
“What are you doing here?!” Lo’ak was furious, walking briskly towards him.
“Bruh, why are you always here.” You heard Ao’nung mumbling it annoyingly. You didn’t wasn’t really worried about what’s going to happen. Feels like you’re a doll without real emotions.
“You’ve been told you to stay away from Y/N. Are you that yaymak? Do you need us to punch you again to understand it?” Your brother came to him as close as possible and pointed at his chest aggressively. Lo’ak just like Neytiri was ready to fight him.
“I wanted to talk to her… normally.” Ao’nung raised his hands as a sign of peace and tried to stay as calm as possible. Even though his fists were itchy to punch him. “I won’t hurt her”.
“I don’t care. You’ve talked to her already and you see the result. It’s her first time outside since the past two weeks. Don’t make it worse.” Lo’ak lowered his voice so you won’t hear their conversation. You didn’t really care and turned back to keep watching after Tuk. She didn’t notice things happening on the beach, she was involved in her hobby. Her little bag was already full of shells, but she wanted to get more.
“Hey, you finally wanted to get some sun?” In a couple if minutes Lo’ak was sitting next to you. He wasn’t mad anymore.
“No, Tuk asked me to. All of you were too busy to accompany her in finding seashells. I didn’t want to let her down.” You smiled a little, watching your sister smiling as she find another colorful thing.
“But…” you noticed Lo’ak hesitating about something.
“What’s wrong?”
“Never mind. I’m glad you’re finally getting out of Marui. We are forest Na’vis, not Marui Na’vis.” He chuckled a little at his own joke and you couldn’t help but do it too.
Maybe, it’s not that bad.

Another two weeks passed. Since that day each member of your family tried to take you outside. Now you go out on your own just to think about your feelings. You are still trying to stay away from water and haven’t swam yet, but you’ve been exploring the little forest that’s actually pretty comfortable. It reminds you of home and you don’t have to hold your breath or ride ilu here.
You can be yourself.
Now you play with fan lizards and even laugh a little. It’s kind of meditation. Spending time in your environment, your home, helps your mental state. Jake says that you shouldn’t go deep into forest and you assure him that you won’t, but sometimes you loose the track of time and forget about your promise. What this happens, Neteyam is always first who goes to find you.
You feel unity with Eywa. It’s your secret, sacred place. You have a little pond here, some fruits growing on the trees and silence. This is your little world free from all worries, free from reality. You fulfill your energy here and nobody interrupts you peace.
You were sitting on the thick branch, involved in making a little bracelet from beads for Tuk. She gifted you a lot of bracelets and necklaces she made. You want to pay her back.
Suddenly your senses catch someone’s presence. Nobody is supposed to find you. It’s afternoon and none of your family should be trying to find you. Leaving all things, you silently stood up and tried to hide behind the tree as Neytiri taught you. You looked behind your shoulder to check who’s that, your knife is ready to serve you.
You heard stranger’s steps coming closer to the tree. You were getting ready to attack, no unnecessary thoughts were in your mind. Just as mom taught you. This is your place, your forest.
Another step and you catch this person, pushing them to a tree and putting a knife to their neck.
“Holy shit!”
You look up. Why is he here?
“Ao’nung? What are you doing here?”
All your strength disappeared the moment you realized who’s standing in front of you. Fear replaced it, slowly taking control over you.
You’re alone, with him.
“No, no, no, Y/N”
You walked back, still holding your knife firmly to protect yourself, but your hands were shaking which made things obvious. You’re just like a little animal who’s afraid but has nothing to do but protect yourself as you can.
“Don’t…”
“Y/N, I wanted to talk to you. Please, let me speak.”
You were afraid to trust him. Because his words hurt you. You’re afraid to hear him speaking to you. But the way he looks at you, his eyes aren’t filled with anger. You take your time, considering his words.
Ao’nung was waiting patiently, he was afraid to do something wrong. Examining your concerned look, he prayed to Eywa for you to trust him. The effort he put to find you and go through this forest without being injured was enormous. Now he understands how hard it is for you to get used to Metkayina’s way of life. He should have thought about it before.
P.S. There wasn't a lot of Aonung and y/n's conversations and I focused more on her recovery and feelings process, but I hope you liked it! Next parts will be more about Aonung and Y/N! Also, i'm not really sure how taglist thing really work, I hope I did it right🫣

Summary: Ao’nung finally realizes that his actions have consequences

Yawntutsyip - darling, little loved one

You thought that all these days when you flew to the water clans were the hardest in you life. Little did you know that life with Metkayina would be harder. You expected to finally live a normal life, doing your chores without being sacred to be shot by sky people. Now you’re safe, but things didn’t get better.
Since your arrival, these boys were bullying all your siblings, including you. You have no idea why it is important for Ao’nung to see totally similar to him Na’vis. You all are same avatars with slight differences that were unavoidable due to the environment you’re supposed to live in. Oh, yeah… supposed to live.
“What are you even doing here?”
“You’re so useless to our tribe”
“Go back to your monkey house”
All these words almost engraved in you mind without leaving space for other thoughts and hope. It’s been two weeks since you arrived and you still haven’t ridden an Ilu successfully, you can’t hold your breath as Metkayinas do. This makes you feel horrible and believe all these mean words.
“C’mon, Y/N, you can do it!”
Neteyam is trying to teach you how to deal with ilu and his voice is so calming, he really believes in you as an older brother. You wish you could just believe him, but insecurity lays too deep and securely in your mind.
“I don’t know… I can’t…”
Your voice was really soft and quiet as you’re the calmest child in your family. You don’t like loud sounds and fast actions. That’s just the way you are. Neytiri says that Sylwanin was just like you.
Despite being slower and more sensitive that other Sullys they loved and protected you with all their heart. Jake knew that Kiri and Tuk are different, they can deal with their problems a lot easier, while you cannot. When something bad to your family or yourself happens, you worry a lot and you won’t tell anyone about your worries unless they make you to. That was the hardest part of you character.
“Hey, are you okay? Do you need to take a break? We can continue tomorrow, don’t worry yawntutsyip.”
Neteyam was worried about your mental state, you were too quiet these days and it never meant anything good. Trying to make you speak about your feelings was completely impossible. You always think that your family has too much to worry about to burden them with your own issues. You want to be like Kiri and Tuk. That’s hilarious, Tuk is way younger than you but she’s able to deal with her emotions way easier than you.
“I’m good. Can we just take a break for like half an hour? I think my brain melts.”
You awkwardly smiled at the end trying to lighten the mood. Neteyam smiled back, feeling relief as you seemed to be just tired. He didn’t want you to hide anything from him and your family.
“Okay, yawntutsyip. I’ll go find Lo’ak and make sure his ass hadn’t get in trouble again. Kiri is on that side of the beach by the way. You can join her, she’s probably flirting with plants again. Let’s meet here in an hour.”
You laughed at his little joke about Kiri. But that’s a fact. Since you arrived here all she’s been doing is examining all local flora and fauna. You missed your time together in the forest, maybe now you’ll have a chance to talk and just be together.
“Okay!”
“Tell me if something goes wrong.”
You knew this look. The big brother look. Sometimes you think how hard it would be for you to live without your family, the way you’re connected to them something really fascinating. And one of your love signs is time. Spending time with your family and each member is the way you show love, the way you feel protected and loved.
You see Kiri laying down in water and looking for something. She didn’t see anyone around, attracted by… water? You didn’t try to understand what’s going on in her mind.
“Hey, pandora geek.”
You stood in front of Kiri and the shadow from your body covered her. Only after that she raised her head and squinted at you.
“I thought you’re with Neteyam. What’s wrong?” She sat on the sand, water was covering her legs a little. You did the same thing, hugging your knees and placing your head on them.
“We took a break, my brain doesn’t work properly. I still can’t ride ilu.”
Hopeless sigh made your sister chuckle, but then she saw your eyes. They were full of sadness, you were not happy. Kiri felt guilt, as your sister she had to be with you, she forgot that Sullys stick together.
“What bothers you?” You were not sure if it’ll be okay to tell her everything. But you family always encourage you to speak what lays in your heart, so you decided to do it.
“There’s a lot… I miss home, I miss flying with you, Neteyam and Lo’ak around Hallelujah mountains.” You were vulnerable now and this is one of those rare moments when you opened your feelings easily. Kiri was the only one you did it with. You could feel tears coming to your eyes, you needed this. “I just miss our way of life. I don’t know why it’s so hard for me to get used to it. Especially, when you always hear…”
“Hey monkeys! Still can’t ride ilu? How can you be so yaymak? You’re both freaks!” you could recognize this voice in millions. “One sister has demon blood, another is too dumb to do things that even infants can do!”
Ao’nung and his friends were coming towards you. Kiri’s body immediately tensed, you could feel it.
“What do you want? Is there nothing to do?”
Ao’nung and his friends came closer and you both stood up. Kiri was looking at him angrily, ready to fight. You were supposed to have such a good conversation, opening each other your soul, but this bully spoiled everything.
“My goal for now is to get rid of such fake Na’vis like you two and your stupid little brother.”
You were furious, how dare he talk like this about your family. Yes, he did say mean things to you, but he still picked his words. Now it’s too much. Nobody can talk about your family this way.
“Shut up and don’t get close to me and my siblings!” You tried to get into protective sister mode. Kiri was shocked by the way you raised your voice. She’s never heard such tone from you before.
“Look at this! Little girl knows how to talk?” Ao’nung was teasing you and laughing with Roxto and the rest of his friends. “Maybe you’ll learn how to swim properly soon by the time my future brother or sister will turn 10. Hopefully.”
You clenched your fists, trying to hold all your emotions. Anger, offense, sadness. It felt like a hurricane of extremely high spectrum of emotions, which was hard for you to bear.
“Don’t you dare…”
You didn’t control yourself that you were coming closer and pushing him. The reason why you felt this way was in him.
He did this to you.
You didn’t care that he was taller than you and all you faced was his shoulders. You didn’t care that he barely moved as you tried to hurt him as much as he hurt you. All he did was laughing. It seemed like Ao’nung didn’t understand anything you said, like he didn’t see you breaking into pieces right in front of you.
“Calm down, you little skxawng!” It was a joke for him. For you it was your last piece of composure.
“You’re dumb! So dumb that you can’t even understand how much pain you give me! Every day I wish I don’t meet you so you won’t shower me with all your shit! Every night I cry myself to sleep because all your mean words you’ve said hurt me! And you don’t understand me, how can you be so mean?”
You were screaming at him and trying to hit, mental breakdown took over your senses. You could physically feel how your heart hurts and legs weaken. All sounds were heard as if from under the water, you didn’t see what’s going on around you. Someone’s holding your shoulders and pushing you to their chest to not let you fall on your knees.
“Don’t touch her!”
Furious voice sounded from afar. Neteyam. Your brother who always protects you, surrounds you with love you need. That’s why he calls you yawntutsyip. Little loved one.
You could feel your brother as he came closer to you. His steps were as heavy as his mood. When he saw you breaking down in front of this asshole and because of this asshole, he almost lost his temper. The way chief’s son was holding and looking at you, finally realizing that his actions have consequences. He had to drive you crazy to understand it.
“Back off! Now!”
He pushed Ao’nung as he got closer to him, taking off his hands off you. You didn’t realize it was him, who held you all this time. Was it long? Actually, everything happened in less than 2 minutes, but for you it was like an infinity.
“What happened?”
Lo’ak was here, he saw you crying in Kiri’s hands and Neteyam fighting with Ao’nung and his friends. He didn’t need to check on all details to punch Roxto and other guys.
“It’s fine, we’re here. Don’t worry.” Kiri was sitting with you and slowly swaying, while tapping your head to calm you down.
“I’m sorry, I…” that’s all you could say.
Neither you nor Kiri noticed how the fight stopped until Neteyam came closer and examined you. His eyebrow was cut so as his lower lip, but he didn’t care. Now he could feel only your pain.
“Yawntutsyip… my sister.”
“I’m sorry, Neteyam. I didn’t…” You were gasping for breath from crying, not being able to collect your thoughts.
“Shhh, that’s fine, you’re fine. We’re here, nobody will hurt you again.” Kiri gave you to Neteyam, he was calming you down repeating the same moves as Kiri did. You were crying, letting all pain, that was suppressed inside of your soul, to flow through you.
Your siblings knew that you need to feel it to let it go. That is the only way for relief.
“Let’s go home, yawntutsyip?” Neteyam’s voice was calming as always, he hated seeing you crying.
You just nodded in agreement, hiding your face in brother’s neck and holding him as if someone can take you from him in any moment.
Yes, most Na’vis are brave, ready to fight and protect their beloved ones. But you just can’t do it. You are the one who needs to be protected. Eywa created you that way and you can do nothing about it.
“Don’t ever come to our sisters, you little bitch! Are you so insecure that you’re afraid to battle with me and choose those who are weaker than you?” Lo’ak didn’t miss to say the last goodbye before following after all of you. He didn’t wait for the answer, he didn’t need it.
Ao’nung was standing up there and looking as your figures disappear. No words are in his mind, except for one.
“Fuck”

"Hey, angel" Tom met me when I came home. "How was your family day?"
"Not good" I made a deep breath and took off my shoes. Today I feel myself sick. I'm too tired. Whole day with my crazy relatives is too much.
"What happened?" Tom looked at me with anxiety.
"There were a lot of kids, who don't know what is respect for adults. Also, my aunt started hysterics because I refused to introduce them to you. They are annoying" I rubbed my eyes and felt how Tom kiss my cheekbone.
"I know how to make you relax and forget about your crazy relatives" he looked at me with cunning. "What about having shower together?"
I smiled. He always know how to cheer me up.
"You know, I always don't mind"
"Well... let's go now!" Holland took me in his arms and carried to the bathroom.
"Hey, what are you doing? I even didn't take off my jaket!" Tom put me on white and cold floor.
"I can't wait anymore. Y/n, day without you was so boring"
I didn't say anything and just started taking off my clothes. When Tom saw it he started doing the same. He got rid of his grey pants and white t-shirt. I almost took off my dress, but I couldn't unbutton zipper, which was on my back.
"Let me do it" Tom gently touched my back and unbuttoned zipper. After this he kissed my skin and neck.
I closed my eyes. The tile no longer seemed so cold.
"Let's go to the shower, honey" His lips met with mine and we went to the shower.
Tom turned the handle and hot water poured on us. My muscules relaxed and I felt Tom hug me from behind.
"You are the most beautiful girlfriend in the world" He whispered and kissed my neck.
"I love you" I said and kissed him back.
After wonderful sex and showering, Tom went to take towels.
I squeezed my hair and left the shower.
Suddenly, I started feeling dizzy and can't think straight. What's worng? I leaned my hand against the wall, barely standing on my feet. Everything is going round and round.
"Angel? Are you okay?" Tom came back and two grey towels were in his hands.
"Things... going round... and round... and round..." Derkness started appering before my face.
"Hey, hey, hey! Don't fall!" Tom ran closer and took me on his hands. "Everything is gonna be alright! Just... just don't close your eyes!" It seemed like he tried to calm me down, but, honesly, he tried to calm down himself.
"I'm okay, I'm okay..." I whispered and couldn't keep my eyes open more.
"No, no, no! Y/n! Look at me!" Tom almost yelled, but I was already faint.
Pov Tom
"I'm sorry to tell you it, but... she has a leukemia" My heart fell down, when I heard this.
"H-how can we cure her?" My voice was quiet.
"We find it out late..." Doctor started telling me a lot of unnecessary information.
"Just tell me how can we cure my girlfriend from this fucking leukemia!" I can't lose her. She's my life.
"There are 10% of the fact that we can cure it. If you refuse treatment, then she could live no more than a year."
"We'll do all possible procedures" I stared at the doctor.
"Okay. She's still sleeping. When she wake up, we should take analyzes. And I have a question..."
"What?"
"Who will tell her about this?" I know, that I should tell her about it. But it's hard. I promised not to hurt her.
"I should do it..."
Pov Rearder
I woke up and firt thing I saw was Tom. We were in the hospital. I looked at his face. He was nervous.
"W-what happened?" My voice was hoarse.
"You fainted and... the doctors found out... that..." I saw, it was hard for him to tell me. "Leukemia. But we will start cure you today!" He started talking about my recovery, but I didn't listen him.
"How long I can live?" He stopped talking and looked at me without saying any word. It was pain in his eyes.
"About a year" I tried not to cry. I wasn't scare about my death as I was scared about Tom. He would be broken.
After a couple minutes of silence I looked at him and tried to simle.
"So, let's live this year as good as we can"
"You'll be okay. We will cure you and everything is gonna be alright!" Tom tried to cheer me up.
"I know..." I lied "But let's do it? We don't know what can happen"
"Okay. I love you and I'll do everything you want"
"So, I need a notebook and pen" Tom look at me and don't understand why I need this things.
"I'm gonna make a plan with desires. We should try to make them during this year"
"We will do every paragraph in this plan. I promise"
Pov Peter
I slept near y/n bed, when I heard a squeaking sound. I woke up and saw on the device a straight red line.

"Doctor! Nurse! Someone come here!"
I started yelling and tried to wake up y/n.
"What happened?" Doctor came here and looked at me.
"She... she..." I looked at her. She was pale.
"You need to go out of here" Said doctor, when others came here.
I can't see her about a 15 minutes. Now doctor came here and on his face was sadness.
"I'm sorry, but she's dead" I can't belive it.

"No. No. No..." Tears flowed down my face. "You are liar! She's alive! She's alive!" I already shouted to the whole hospital.
"Sir, calm down please. I'm sorry, but it's true. She's dead"
I sat down slowly and looked in front of me.

"I'm good. Doctor said that I've recovered. I'll be with you, I won't leave you" She pressed herself against my chest. "Thank you for that year. We did all things from my list and I'll be alive. With you"
"I don't know, how would I live without you"
"All in the past. I'm here, with you. Of course, without hair I do not look very good, but they will grow up"
"You're perfect. Don't matter with hair or without" I hugged her and kissed her head.
