HOMEWOOD -- While on patrol in Homewood around 1:30 a.m., Pittsburgh Police Sgt. Charles Henderson heard multiple gunshots. The shots were fired along Kelly Street and police say 21 shell casings were found at the scene with possibly even more left on the street. Several cars on the street were hit by bullets. Timothy Bazemore, Jr. and Medina El were arrested. Bazemore was wanted on several warrants out of Butler County, was on house arrest, and was found wearing a military-grade bulletproof vest. (Source)
CRAFTON HEIGHTS -- According to police, officers were called to a home in the 1600-block of Clairtonica Street in Crafton Heights around 4:30 a.m. A 28-year old woman was arguing with her long-time friend, Judith White, in an upstairs bedroom when things got out of hand. White pulled out a gun and shot the victim in the arm and ran from the scene. (Source)
MONESSEN -- Around 11 p.m., 54-year-old James Ritter was shot multiple times in the head and chest. The fatal shooting took place inside a home in the 100 block of Donner Avenue in Monessen. (Source)
SPRING GARDEN -- At approximately 8:30 p.m., a man wearing a mask and carrying a handgun entered Parrotts Pub in Spring Garden. According to major crimes Lt. Kevin Kraus: “It was apparent that he was going to commit an armed robbery.” A 21-year-old man playing pool by the door grabbed the man’s arm in an attempt to disarm him and was shot; he is in critical condition at Allegheny General Hospital. MARSHALL-SHADELAND — On Monday night Richard Didonato, 66, of Bellevue, was shot in the 1200 block of Woodland Avenue in the Marshall-Shadeland neighborhood of Pittsburgh. A short time later he was pronounced dead at Allegheny General Hospital. (Source)
EAST LIBERTY -- Sarah Wolfe and her sister Susan were found shot to death in the basement of the East Liberty home that she purchased back in December, according to Pittsburgh police. The shooting took place in the 700 block of Chislett Street sometime between Thursday evening and Friday afternoon. (Source)
MCKEESPORT -- Susan Sidney, a 25-year-old mother of five from Crawford Village in McKeesport, was found at the corner of McCleary and Freeland streets at about 11:05 p.m. She had gunshot wounds to the chest and arm. Sidney and a young man were walking along McCleary when she was shot in the 900 block, according to Allegheny County Lt. Andrew Schurman. Sidney was later pronounced dead at a nearby hospital. KNOXVILLE -- Jason Eubanks and his girlfriend, Cheralynn Sabatasso, both 36, were found shot to death in Knoxville at approximately 7:36 p.m. Their bodies were discovered in a silver Lexus in the 500 block of Grimes Avenue. Pittsburgh police believe that the killer or killers of the couple opened fire from inside the vehicle. (Source)
HOMEWOOD -- Pittsburgh police responded to a call of five to eight shots fired in the 7100 block of Kedron Street in Homewood around 6:35 p.m. Fredrick Douglas, 28, was found lying on the curb with gunshot wounds to the chest and leg and was pronounced dead at 6:41 p.m. (Source)
HOMESTEAD -- At around 8 p.m., 20-year-old Imani Porter was shot in head while sitting in a car in the parking lot of a Steak ‘n Shake at The Waterfront in Homestead. He was taken to UPMC Mercy Hospital, where he later died. Porter was the uncle of rapper Wiz Khalifa. (Source)
EAST PITTSBURGH — An unidentified man with a gunshot wound to the chest was found at 651 Linden Ave. after a 911 call at 9:11 a.m. He was taken to UPMC Mercy in critical condition and died at the hospital. (Source)
EAST LIBERTY — An 18-year-old man was grazed by a bullet in the chest and bicep when someone pulled out a gun during a fight at the Pittsburgh Obama 6-12 school in East Liberty tonight. (Source)
WEST MIFFLIN-- Loretta Jackson, 65, was found in a bedroom of her Patton Street home Thursday morning with multiple gunshot wounds. (Source)
WILKINSBURG -- Monica Proviano, 28, was found shot to death Wednesday morning on Trenton Avenue. (Source)
RANKIN -- Tyrone Milton, 50, of Braddock, was shot at 12:40 a.m. Saturday at Deb's Place at 15 Miller Avenue in Rankin. He was pronounced dead at 6:30 p.m. Saturday at UPMC Presbyterian. (Source)
