Shroudkitty is an au blog about cat-ified Idia, and his journey to becoming human again! Through your asks you progress the journey and interactions! (Don’t worry, you can pet the kitty :3)

Idia will only communicate in meows, hisses, and body language. (So tails, ears, and paws.) he’ll be able to properly communicate down the line, you’ll just have to stick around until then!

The rules are simple and straightforward. Don’t be rude, no nsfw asks. Please. And I’ll answer asks if I want to, if not, I won’t.

With that out of the way, you can call me Mod JK or just J! I won’t be online 24/7 as I have a job 💀.. but I’ll do my best to make this blog entertaining for all of you interested ^^!

[ It’s ears perked up as it stared at the other ortho who was going through the same situation like he was. He hopped off the mechanical Idia and padded over to Ortho. ]

[He gently turned his head in confusion, his ears tilting slightly to the side as he reacted.]

We're going to have to trim your claws buuut you get to choose which of the pretty claw caps to put on. -sets out a few different colors of claw caps-

After a few minutes, you had finally caught the hyperactive cat and settled him in your lap. Idia was protesting loudly with loud meows and frequent chirping, but you had to trim those claws soon or else you’d become a scratching-post..

And how lucky you are, because you found some clippers in your pockets! (OOC/ Hoodie pocket or regular pockets! It depends on your yuusona or oc’s current outfit :3)

Pressing on his paw pad and bringing the pliers near his claws, you started to trim them one-by-one. You made sure to not trim too much as you didn’t want to damage the ‘quick’ inside and have him bleeding.. Thankfully, you managed to get the trimming over with and showed the cat a tray of colored claw traps.

Idia stared at them before rubbing his head on the blue ones. Of course he did..

You applied the blue caps onto his claws before letting him go and cleaning up the area around you. Once finished, you looked over to see him climbing onto his computer setup and walking on the keyboard, trying to log in into his account.. huh.

So he can still mange his streaks..

Oh sevens.

What have you done.

Ever since you decided to test out catnip on Idia, he’s been nothing but an energetic ball of fur! Which is an extreme 180-from his usual personality.

Currently, the cat was rolling around and being very vocal. You don’t think he’ll be able to do his daily logins and dallies right now, so you’ve been handling that part ever since you found him as a cat. But uh, it’s not like you tried that theory out anyway..

He’s also been very bitey and scratchy too. One instance, you tried playing with him by using a feather wand and the next thing you knew, your hand was covered in bite and scratch marks. (You had to wrap him in a hoodie and head to the infirmary..)

Now that you’re back though, you wonder what else you could do with Idia..

Does the smell of churu cat treats interest him?

(mod here! A bit tired tonight so it’ll have to be short :(( )

You remember watching a few cat videos before being sent to this world, a common theme with all of them being the presence of churu cat treats.

Strangely enough, you had a few on you. A strange coincidence but you weren’t about to think about all of that right now.

Now, you weren’t sure how Idia would react to the treats, especially since this is another world. But you decided to bite the bullet, because well.. the cats here shouldn’t be too different from the ones at home right?

Taking a churu treat out your pocket and opening it, you stuck it out to the cat infront of you. He was hesitant at first, sniffing it before tasting it to see how he liked them.

Well, he must’ve loved them because he’s coming back for another round. He starts to eat the treat, his paws gripping onto your arm to balance himself as he ate from the treat, eyes focused intently.

You couldn’t help but coo from how adorable this situation was..

A minute has passed since you decided (well, suggested) a name for Idia. Or what you’re calling the cat for now. It seems to be pretty reactive to most things, which makes you wonder…

‘What if I start walking around? Will it react positively or negatively?’

You decided to test that thought and got up from where Idia was lying. He looked at you with almost surprised eyes before you started to walk around.

His eyes tracked you like a hawk’s, wary of what you were going to do.

His fur started to bristle slightly, as the sensation of you moving must’ve caught him off guard. Thankfully he didn’t dart under the bed, but he looks real close to doing so.

Idia didn’t seem to have a major reaction to you moving around aside from feeling you walk around. Although, you stopped once the vibration of you walking made a faint hiss slip out of his mouth.
