I hate all Draco ships except Drastoria, but I’ll never understand Drarry shippers obsession with trying to one up Dramione shippers.

Neither ship is even good nor do they make sense (which doesn’t matter in terms of shipping anyway, but still), so what is with this superiority complex? I think a lot of yaoi enjoyers have this issue, where they are always trying to get one over m/f shippers and straight ships, knocking done female characters in favor of their favorite males. Their favorite lines are “they’re trying to steal our nachos,” “they want to be us so bad,” “it’s literally the straight version of [insert gay ship].”

You see it a lot with, as I mentioned above, Drarry shippers to Dramione shippers, but also Tomarry shippers to Tomione and Bellamort, Wolfstar shippers to Remadora and Blackinnon, Jegulus shippers to Jily. They even fight amongst themselves on who’s taking it up the ass and who’s going in (and a lot of the time it’s about 16-17 year old little boys or a grown man x a little boy, so it’s just gross), completely ruining the characters characterizations to fit this weird agenda that the top is this big macho man, who is dominate, and aggressive, while the bottom is this itsy bitsy little guy who is too fragile to do anything themselves and needs their big strong tops to save them. Which, the over feminization and infantilization of characters (who are typically masculine, or just no where near that feminine) is so disgusting, especially when they’re made out to look like little girls or babies.

Voldemort killed Snape for no reason. He knew Dumbledore won the Elder Wand without killing Grindelwald, so he wasn't mistaken about wandlore. How could he be, when he'd literally kidnapped two expert wandmakers? He just killed Snape because of how little he mattered to him after his use was over. He literally tells Snape to his face that although he's been useful and clever, the resistance can fall without his help so he's outlived his usefulness. He was extremely cruel to Snape despite Snape making very few mistakes in his eyes.

He didn't even keep his word to him about sparing Lily and instead of using a stupefy, killed her, even though it was unnecessary. Mind you, in his eyes, Snape had just saved his life by delivering him that prophecy without even being asked. He literally valued his life less. Not even Lucius and Draco were killed. He even went on about not wanting to spill pure blood. Snape was a poor orphan with no backing, unlike Lucius and Draco, so he was used and discarded like trash.

He also didn't need to make it a slow and painful death by using Nagini. He could have just brought his old wand.

Tbh, if I was a death eater, I'd hate Severus so much. Isn't it canon that he climbed the ranks without killing anyone? Imagine being Bellatrix and watching that same half blood arrive late to their meeting and yet still get the exclusive spot right next to Voldemort, be forgiven for your disloyalty and work for Dumbledore AND has the smug and the audacity to know they can't do shit without angering Voldy. I think the problem was that Bellatrix never knew that Voldemort was the son of a Muggle he always despised, and basically what drew her to Severus—and made her give him so many benefits of the doubt—was that, in part, she was projecting herself onto him. From that projection, she saw him in a pretty condescending way. I think deep down she believed she could understand him better than anyone else, and through that, manipulate him better than anyone else. But Voldemort had zero self-awareness when it came to traumas, and what she didn’t realize was that his and Severus’s, despite having some similarities, stemmed from very different wounds.

What's anon talking about lol? Severus was never forgiven for any disloyalty and work for Dumbledore because Voldemort used Legilimency on him and found that he was always loyal to him. According to Voldemort, there was never any disloyalty and work for Dumbledore to begin with. It's because of Voldemort's arrogance about his own skills and underestimating of others that he never realised Severus was good enough to deceive even him. This has been stated multiple times in the books as well as JKR interviews.

Also, Severus didn't have to get his hands dirty because that was never his job! His job was to be a spy and he "grinded" a lot for it. I wish anon would read Spinner's End because it's obvious Severus has provided extremely useful information to Voldemort. That's even before he kills Dumbledore and tells Voldemort when they'd transfer Harry. He was easily the most useful of the bunch in Voldemort's eyes. Also, he wasn't "late" but nearly late. Yaxley was late too.

I wouldn't be surprised if Lucius never killed anyone either. Even Bellatrix herself wasn't sent on the kinds of missions that required taking people out despite being a soldier. She wasn't there when Dumbledore died and she wasn't involved in the series of crimes that happened in HBP. Speaking of Dumbledore, Severus literally killed Dumbledore in the eyes of the DEs, so I'm once again wondering what this anon is even talking about?
