#the last one #I was so like GURL what are you even thinking that’s so not going to work #but I love rann’s backbone going up hard and lené just being completely out of her element #because for all of lené’s attempts to drive rann they’ve never actually fought before #(argued a bunch yes but truly fought no)#love beyond dreams

A detail I absolutely love from Love Beyond Dreams is Rann’s art diary. I love how art is a hobby for her that she’s uses to record memories and process her emotions. My favorite use of it so far was when she was first thrown back in time and she immediately started drawing to better cement the memory and details in her mind for the future. Sketchbooks and diaries aren’t uncommon for protagonists in romances but the way Rann specifically uses her visual diary is rather unique to see. I just really love it a lot.
