Who else thinks YouTube should be sued for asking for their users’ government ID to prove their age? That could get them into huge trouble when it comes to asking for personal information like that, and I’m sure this policy is, potentially, illegal. If they don’t want to lose their oh-so-precious money, they shouldn’t be snooty and potentially be breaking the law. If they end up in the courts and have money drained, then so be it. If YouTube dies, I’ll be disappointed bc I really want to come back, but so be it.

YouTube is digging their own grave.

My orca characters. Summer, and her sons, Anubis and Toto.

Summer and Anubis were once in a pod led by Ada, Summer’s mother and Anubis’ grandmother, but were separated by the intrusion of a fishing boat that had captured one of Summer’s siblings. Amidst the chaos, Summer fled with Anubis following close behind. Even as an adult male orca, Anubis is a momma’s boy; as with all male orcas..

And I’d like to say, Summer does NOT have a positive view on humans. The scar on her back was formed by the blade of a harpoon; the notches on her fin were not human-caused, but rather from quarrels with other marine animals.

Summer was pregnant with Toto throughout the calamity, and gave birth to him a few days after. Being separated from her pod and now having two children to care for, especially with one being a baby, Summer was a mother and a matriarch of a small, yet functional, pod. Thankfully, Summer wasn’t alone when it came to raising Toto, as Anubis would babysit him while his mother was away hunting for a meal, and would help Summer when it came down to protecting Toto from carnivores.

After a long journey, Summer was eventually reunited with Ada! Overjoyed and in tears, Ada gladly accepted Summer and Anubis back, and welcomed Toto, to the pod.

I will draw Ada and maybe other members of the pod when I get around to it.

Hey y’all. A few days ago I got my first “enemy” regarding the YouTube boycott.

I was telling off YouTube on Threads, telling them to remove the AI age verification, when someone replied “syfm” to me. If you don’t know what this acronym means, it means shut your fucking mouth. At first, I laughed it off knowing I probably just made someone angry, but at the same time there was slight unease. Either they thought I was being obnoxious, or they genuinely support this; if it’s the latter, I have no clue if they genuinely thought it was helpful or if they DID know what they were supporting. But what’s strange was they liked my comment for whatever reason; however, I don’t think they were joking.

So, yes, there are people we have to look out for. It’s best not to argue with supporters; just block their account and move on.
