wammy’s orphanage is a global child trafficking organization that traffics bright children (identified with eugenics and pseudoscientific 'intelligence measuring' methods) from impoverished/colonialised/war torn countries to the colonists and grooms them into tools/agents of the state to do their bidding. they actively psychologically tortured these high special needs kids by pitting them against each other. also, what are the chances of the smartest kids from all over the world all being orphans? all of them? not one of them have one parent or a relative that could have taken care of them? how did they even measure iq in the fucking 90s and even before that? wammy must be some sort of nazi scientist that fled to uk because wtf

"Holy shit..."
"Please don't look at me, angel..."
Juno stifled a laugh as Felix peeled his drenched tank top off of his severely sunburned shoulders, wincing in pain as the fabric brushed against the redness running down his neck.
The freckles that covered his shoulders and neck were almost completely hidden by the dark red covering him from his ears to his elbows, including his nose, cheeks, and forehead.
"Just how long were you out there?" Juno giggled in amusement as they looked over him from above.
"Had to replace... an entire radiator." He panted as he raise an arm to wipe his sweaty, oil stained forehead, sweeping his hair to the side, before moving to take off his gloves and throw them aside.
"What, on the surface of the sun?" They moved beside him, taking a good look at the bright red patches of skin, separated by tan lines where his button up had been.
"I'm really... not in the mood to be ribbed right now, angel." He murmured petulantly as he poured himself a glass of water, downed it, then poured another, before downing that one as well.
"How about I run you a cold bath?" Juno suggested as Felix slumped down in a nearby chair, before he leaned forward with a pained hiss at the contact against his tender skin.
"Jaminey- what in the..." He furrowed his brow in frustration. "I've never had a sunburn this bad before..."
"Poor baby..." Juno frowned, moving to grab a nearby hand towel and running it under the sink for a couple moments, before ringing out the cold water. "I'm gonna put this on you, okay?"
"Yeah, go right on ahead." Felix murmured, closing his eyes in exhaustion. Juno moved behind him with the towel, gently lowering it down to his back.
He let out a small hiss which tapered into a content groan at the cooling sensation, and Juno spread the towel across the expanse of his back and guided him to sit back against the chair. They reached up to gently tuck his messy, sticky hair away from his sunburnt face, frowning at his pained, exhausted expression. His brow was furrowed in a mix of discomfort and relief, his pretty brown eyelashes fluttering as he tried to calm his heartbeat, his normally rosy cheeks completely burnt as sweat dripped down his face.
Felix seemed to feel their gaze on him, gently opening his eyes to look up at them with a small sigh. He could feel that he'd cooled off a bit, the frantic beating of his heart replaced with a familiar hum that he always felt in Juno's presence. He knew he must look like a downright mess, but they still cared for him and looked at him like he'd hung the moon, even if he'd gotten a little burnt in the process.
He could feel his cheeks redden beneath his sunburn as he met their eyes, before giving them a small, awkward smile.
"...I don't suppose... I could still take you up on that bath?"
