So listen. Y’all remember that shoggoth post I made a while back? @upperstories and I have been GUSHING about it recently, pretty much making a sort of extention featuring a previously unknown gang of shoggoths hanging out in Antarctica that are beej’s extended family via his dad. There’s a whole mob of them, these are just the ones I’ve come up with so far

The shoggoths all end up adoring Beej, and becoming a whole big family for him outside of the Deetz and Maitland. Beej is TINY compared to these shoggoths so whenever he’s around them, Beej is constantly being scooped up by these giants of ‘people’. Marble is the shortest of the shoggoths, capping off at around 7 ft tall. And yeah, she’s constantly hefting Beej around like the baby cousin he is. So many ideas have been had, I don’t even know where to start on writing them all down haha. Thank you, uppers, for letting me ramble so much to you I really love this insane family 🥺

Okay you guys may have probably noticed that this page is very short. That’s because something a little different is gonna be happening this week. What follows is a two page spread of father son bonding… and I got a little carried away. Basically I did a series of highly detailed paintings with these two boys and so I’m gonna upload the montage in parts and link them here. Ao3 is gonna be confused, but I’ll upload the whole two page spread there about halfway through I think… we’ll see. Anyway here’s part 1!
