Nothing but a blinding darkness filled this point of view, silence filled the air, the scent of the surrounding environment, was rather horrid, but nothing to complain about. There are pressing matters to be addressed at this current point in time, chains, the very thing that would bind his hands and feet together, started to become tighter around his wrist from trying to break free. However, a question came to thought, who was this damsel in distress?   It was none other than Tails the fox, how did he get in this situation? Honestly, he had no idea, he couldn’t remember a thing other than the situation he’s currently in. A slight sting could be felt on the back of his head, that would explain the majority of what he could sum up, the genius fox deduced his situation. “I was…kidnapped..” he stated within his own mind, now the atmosphere became heavy on the young male. Twitching his right ear, the fox heard a sort of squeak, it sounded like a door opening, his heart began to race, who was he kidnapped by? as far as he could recall, no one held any sort of grudge against him. Maybe he was being used as bait again to lure in Sonic, in that case, he would never sell out his friend, no matter what sort of torture they put him through. Trying to stay calm, Tails started to sweat-drop, his tails had also been tied up, but with rope this time, he awaited the opportunity to see what was in store.

The door opened squeakily, a little bit of light poured into the room as foot steps were heard then there was a click. a light was turned on so both the kidnapper and the young fox could see one another.  The dark slowly approached the two tailed fox.  He was in his normal form instead of his crystallized form or also known as phase 2.  He looked exactly like Shadow except for cyan striped and faded inhibitor rings plus he didn’t have a mouth.Something was more sinister about him though.

“ My my what have we here? “

He inched closer to Tails, his eyes had silts like a cat’s when they feel threatened.

The sudden appearance of the light, made the young fox wince his sky blue eyes in agony for ten seconds, while his vision cleared, he could now clearly see who he was up against. A rather eerie hedgehog with a dark color scheme was shown, his cyan stripes already gave away his identity, if not that, the Shadow look-alike appearance would. “M-Mephiles”?! The fox yipped in shock, as the other approached his being, Tails would glare back at the other while pinning his ears back.

“ Wait you remember me? Funny i don’t think we’ve met but you are probably wondering why i brought you here….  Anyway you don’t have to worry about me harming you, you aren’t exactly my target.”

He watched Tails for a bit he didn’t intend on harming the fox he didn’t care that he was being glared at, he mostly wanted revenge for almost being destroyed by Sonic and Shadow, he didn’t really want revenge on Silver since he only tagged along and well he tolerated Silver.

Hearing what the dark hedgehog had to say, Tails now knew somewhat of his intentions, as per-usual, the fox was being used as bait to lure in Sonic, figures, Sonic had informed him all about Mephiles.

“Then what exactly do you want? If it’s Sonic you’re after, then you’re out of luck, I would never sell out my best friend.”

His ears returned to their regular position, up-right and centered, however, the yellow fox would wonder how he got into this situation in the first place.

“Sonic told me all about you, him and Silver, I have no intention of helping you, nor will I be any use to you”.

He tried to swindle Mephile’s thoughts, not like he could do anything else at the current moment.

Mephiles listened to the fox.

“ I don’t exactly need you to rat him out, he’ll come looking for you before long, I’m actually surprised he told you about me after all i only made my presence known to Silver and Shadow, but it is true that i snuck up behind your friend and well ended him but that was in a timeline that no longer exists after he was revived….. Iblis is in another dimension out of reach now, i won’t be able to fuse with him in order to become Solaris so there won’t exactly be a point in ending him again.  Battling doesn’t sound too bad though…. so basically you are being used as bait, i have no interest in using you as help after all i’ve been betrayed countless times….. sealed away by my creator, tossed to the side by Shadow, Silver followed my plan until he met Shadow….. But now Silver is in my care future wise.”

Tails lowered his ears in disappointment, he was tired of the same old story about how he would be used as bait, but each time he’s been kidnapped, he’s learned to survive and escape each time on his own. As the other was distracted by his mumbling about his own plot, Tails managed to get his twin tails free, now he’s working on freeing his own wrist free by using those tails of his. A rather disappointed sigh escaped the gap in the fox’s mouth.

“You villains always forget one thing, never spoil your plot to the good guys, that’s how we get out set of motivation, and yeah yeah, I’ve been used as bait countless times. I’m not useless in any sense, I know how to take care of myself, and yes, Sonic will come for me--eventually... but when he does, you’ll be sorry”!

Tails has full trust in his friend, he always has, he won’t let his friend fight alone, but--what Mephiles said threw the fox off for a split second.

“You ended Sonic? Impossible, Sonic is unbeatable! He wouldn’t let you defeat him so easily”.

I’m a little peeved...

Honestly, I spent the past five hours trying to configure my HTML settings in Tumblr’s editing mode on my profile, why you may ask?

Trying to fix the music player that wouldn’t play. . .

It turns out it was chrome the entire time! Nothing was wrong with the HTML at all, but just an fyi to any/everyone who wants to listen to my playlist on my profile.

You cannot use Chrome, but you can use any other default browser to view my profile in order to get the playlist to work.

Also, I’m updating my profile layout, so expect me to be busy for a long while.
