I was wondering if you can do this mlb prompt with Lila/Cerise exposed. By her three mothers as all three of them realize that Cerise Bianca/Lila Rossi has scammed them for perks of being popular. Where there is an government outside of Paris looking for Cerise Bianca to arrest her for her crimes in the past.

Hi, I'm so glad you liked the story. This was one of my firsts on tumblr so I was still kinda new to the whole tagging thing.

So that Lying Prologue was just a random name I chose for the start. the next is labelled underneath it called like First Meetings Aren't Normal and so on till the 15th one, but I will want to say I have discontinued that series due to idea changes but right now I'm trying to do a revamp of everything. I don't have a date for it but I'm still working on it.

So... if I were to say I would do commissions. I'll make a sheet later about it but I've never done it before so if people have tips beforehand, I know some of the basics and will probably have 10 open but would anyone be interested at all? I guess if it's non-complicated I guess.

If you could go back in time and restart any of your fics, which one would you choose? And what would you do differently?

Well funny you should say that- since I am in the middle of doing a rewrite of my first MLB series. Enter The Redheaded Heroine series. So one thing to know about me is that I’m a very slow writer. And I procrastinate a whole lot, I get into other phases for so long and forget to write for this series. As well as the other salt series I have. And even with that I have all the basics written down I just need to write it. But with this Rewrite I’ve basically looked through all the pieces I had previously and just remodelled some of them. Like I’ve chosen to do a lot of redesigns of my redesigns/from the show. For example, I’ve already redone previously named Rosina, Crisono and Hernandez’s redesigns and currently trying to finish off the whole class plus a few extras. I’ve also completed the Kwami designs, and how their weapons/powers differ from the show. The main reason I wanted to restart my fic was that I had simply not been as into salt as I was at the start of making it. As I had already wanted everyone to get redemption I thought it over and knew it was best to do a revamp.

As well as any and all inconsistencies I had put into my fanfic. So far Rosina had seemed Mary-Sue like so I wanted to change that, characters were too OOC and I felt like it was just the show, everything went back to how it was pretty fast. So I would try to make some chapters before my OC were to visit. Establish some rules for how the Kwami works. Explain more about what the Trinklets are and what the new OC’s can do. I have kinda changed Rosina’s personality and have it pretty constant to what it was, cause part of me felt she was all over the place. So her personality has changed to not be like that. I just wanted to change it cause a lot was OOC so that would technically be my main reason.

From left to right

Félix and last names either include Agreste, Culpa or a brand new one. [Culpa was a fanon accepted name]

Then Allegra, Claude, Allan and Marinette [Although in most stories they dub her as Bridgette as to separate the two since her personality is slightly different.]

And I’ve also never heard of the Allan being the child of Chloé and Adrien, I don’t know if that’s true or not.

But honestly as far as personalities go I’d say the quickest place to learn is through the ML office AU, their personalities are pretty much how the fandom decided since they were scrapped long before the show started. And sometimes Allegra is nicer or a mix I think, I haven’t really read many quantic kids fanfics but I hope this helps.

Are there Adrien Salt takes that you disagree with?

Since I know this is just a random anon ask that gets asked to every major blog, I’ll still answer it.

But yeah, most takes I already see as just overexaggerated and go along with the flow. It doesn’t really matter anyway, the whole point of reading a ml salt fic is because its exaggerated. I don’t read it because I 100% think Adrien or Alya would act either cruel/abusive to Marinette, I read it for exaggeration how far pettiness would go, what people write.

I don’t think Adrien would be abusive or stand by if Marinette was getting beaten up in certain fics, or stand by as the ‘class’ tear into Marinette’s sketchbook, he’s naïve but he wouldn’t stay put like that. And I do think the ‘high road advice’ would only go so far, if he really saw how bad it was affecting Marinette, for instance if the lies did get worse, I do think he would step in and tell everyone and he would apologise to Marinette for it. He’s naïve and too forgiving to everyone to not know when he’s getting walked all over, but I don’t think he’s as bad as some fics say.

I honestly really just want more from him and his character. Yes he can still be quiet and kind and happy as Adrien, coming out of his shell around his friends and clueless about social norms, and as Chat Noir he can still joke and be funny and a partner to Ladybug and vice versa, but I wanna see him be more than just the jokester, or just there for his Cataclysm, I want him to go on development that he can be more, to take the job of being the one of the only two heroes in Paris a little more seriously. 

Like I do get that he’s meant for comic relief, but it only goes for so far cause it gets boring when he gets captured or hit by the Akuma for the umpteenth time, where it seems he always relies on the cure and Ladybug to save the day and think of himself as able to sacrifice himself because she can fix it. Its not a good mindset and if the writers could expand on that and actually have them as an equal Team it would be good, but they frame him as always being in the right and it does get annoying when he is pushy and sometimes unreliable in battles, when times have shown Ladybug could realistically do plans herself at points, they always tell us Chat is important to the Team but were always able to figure it out without him, and that kinda sucks cause it does seem he can be easily replaceable, and if he was just a bit more competent it would seem fair. Cause at the moment, if I was in the ml universe and I had to wait for either of the 2 heroes to save me from being turned to stone or flattened, I’d really hope Ladybug would come get me cause I’d have far more faith in her.

Anyway sorry for the rant and slight change of topic, I guess I got a bit side tracked. But honestly yeah, him being either abusive, mean, possessive, and insistent that he’s right are takes I don’t think are him but won’t stop reading if they are in a fic cause I already have all their personalities exaggerated anyway. And I think if he saw how he was either hurting Ladybug or Marinette he would feel so bad and try and make it up to them.

13 ~ Looking For Trouble? Part 2

I was tempted to name this ‘Then Make It Double Part 2’ but I didn’t want people to accidently get confused, however I might make it another title for a later fic chapter.

So, I’ve been drawing so much, and I’ve noticed just how different my art style can be from just a few months, I’m so happy I’ve improved so much in just a short time.

I’m excited for the next chapter, I kinda wanted to start working on that one because I was just so excited, but I didn’t so I hope you’ll enjoy.

His eyes opened.

He could truly see what his surroundings were- he could see just what he was running towards.

And he could see why that voice shouted his name like that.

Now it was screaming, so loudly he had to cover his ears.

Strong vines wrapped around his body, no matter how much he struggled he couldn’t wriggle out, to free himself from this madness.

It didn’t matter that he was also processing just what was going on, his mind could only tell him to escape as fast as he could.

But he was stuck- he was being dragged further and further into this- thing! This thing that pretended to be his-

It was all… Fake?

She wasn’t really there?

Despair was creeping up on him, he was so foolish to believe the fantasies of his mind- and after everything that his Father had told him.

How would he feel if he got caught up in this fake mess?

Thousands of thoughts were swirling around his mind so fast he couldn’t make out the words of this random voice from above.

“Hey… -ear me? …ix -old o-” He felt the vines loosen before he was pulled out and moving away from that chaotic scene.

Now normally Félix hated being touched without his consent, but considering what his fate would’ve been like if he wasn’t grabbed, he’d let it slide just this once.

He felt the person hold him around his waist as they glided through the trees, now he could get a glance at just who his supposed saviour was.

They wore an artic blue/navy blue dress with blue leggings, he supposed that did seem like what the heroes wore, he never really paid attention to them either.

But then- how did she know he was here?

Was- was she looking out for him?

“Ok, I think we’ll be safe here for a bit. Are you ok? It didn’t hurt you, right?” Her pandering was somewhat unnerving, how could she be so calm in this- this hell!?

I have no idea how long I want this to be, but I doubt it will be too long, so maaaaybe 15 chapters? But I’m super glad that this has gotten more attention than I thought it would have.

Might need to point out that I only said there weren’t any Miraculous here, but heroes still exist, but they all hide their identities (from the public because I think it’s stupid for random civilians to know your identity) if they chose to or they only tell families.

Alarms were annoying. Why had someone decided to invent a device that makes you feel guilty for sleeping in? Why not just be a gentle reminder in the form of a lullaby? Or a small caress of a hand brushing some hair, as you simply start to close your eyes, drifting of-

“Marinette you’ll be late for school again!”

She groaned.

So that was why.

Getting dressed she sighed knowing what the day would hold. Glares, being alone, eat, hopefully become nothing but invisible and make sure to go unnoticed before rushing back home.

For the past three years, this is what would happen to her. This same boring, frighteningly normal routine.

And she hated it.

Not just for being alone, or all of the sadness she felt grow each day to a meter she wasn’t sure what level she was on now but whatever. It wasn’t going down any time soon.

No, what she hated the most…

Was the boredom.

Ok so unpopular opinion, but I actually liked the braid that they gave her, and I've never seen anyone change it so it wouldn't be as accessable.

Also I don't think it would've been so much as a target since if shes so powerful, she’ll just dodge, like most anime characters with long hair do.

But oh well, I also changed her eyes, because I think everyone changed it to blue accents and blue line around the costume.

Miraculess Ladybug Salt AU: You Always Liked To Play With Fire ~ The Prologue

Hey everyone, this is a new story I wanted to introduce to you all.

I’ve been putting everything in a massive word doc because I had so many ideas and finally settled on putting it out today because it's my birthday. 29th, I may have updated it late.

Yay.

So as a special treat, here’s a new series with a few original characters, ones you know or have been changed ever so slightly to fit, in a Miraculess world. (haha, you see what I did there? No… I’ll leave)

Also for anyone new, I’m a multi-shipper so I ship my characters with a bunch of other people, as I like Lukanette (Fandom Version), Daminette (Fandom Version), Felinette (PV Fandom Version), Marichat (Fandom Version) and I guess Rosannette. What’s Rosannette? Well, I guess you’ll have to find out, won’t you? (also no that’s not a typo, it is Rosannette)

Also, I guess this will just have the usual salt, maybe more, I don’t know. I kinda want it to just be about these two.

Memories, it's such a simple word yet it holds so much meaning. One could either wish to forget everything from their life, and simply move forward so they could pursue their dreams. Or, simply relish in the past when they remembered how great it was, all the friends they had made, all the moments they had which were too good to let go.

But, I guess sometimes, you did have to let go. But let go of what exactly? Let go of all the happiness once you knew how it would end? No that would be too harsh and you’d turn bitter. Let go of all the sadness? But, wasn’t it an important life lesson to learn, sometimes, you just have to be sad because of the situation at hand. No amount of croissants or macarons would be able to lift your spirits back.

Or maybe that was too much of a specific example.

That was what Marinette had thought, staring at an empty glass so intently the man behind made himself disperse from the amount of time the unblinking woman just stared and never flinched.

She guessed it hadn’t all been bad, she at least had some form of happiness before it was violently ripped away, but part of her wondered, what would’ve happened if she never felt that type of happiness before? Would she have felt like she had for so long, was it the fact that she knew what being happy was like before worse? Because, as depressing as it sounded, if she hadn’t been as happy, would she have been as upset?

In my ML Discord sever we had an event for drawing ourselves as any current Miraculous Holder or make up one from scratch, I chose the peacock/peafowl because the fan is my favourite weapon out of them all. Quick Question

If I were to make some draw/sketchy TikToks would you guys have any requests for me? Such as any audio recommendations or info on certain main characters/my OC’s/story elements, (might not be able to reveal all of them since spoilers), could ask me opinions maybe, just they may take away since I can’t always stay focused when doing a project (and I’m at uni). But hopefully this will keep me motivated to write more, or think of any ideas. Let me know.

But like seriously, though. I can never see any actual criticism of the show these days, because the ml salt is filled to the brim with people complaining — “anti-salters” (who, fun fact, don’t actually exist!) whine about “toxic salters” who are, more often than not, literally anyone who has a complaint about ML. Of course, there are a few absolute lunatics who definitely need to be complained about more (rjalker, plaggandadrienbondingisthebest), but most of us are literally minding our own business until we’re provoked, which is constantly.

I’ve been watching Miraculous Ladybug for a long time. I loved it for years. And when I realised exactly how bad it was, when I saw what the creator was saying on Twitter, when I started looking at it closer? It was devastating. I adored this show, I really did, and having all its imperfections and toxicity lay bare before me was hard. Now, interacting with it critically, picking it apart, now matter how long it takes me, is how I enjoy it, it’s how I like to interact with it, and it wouldn’t be nearly as fun for me otherwise. Most salters do not watch this show with pure hatred in mind — we can enjoy certain elements or characters, or we can enjoy dissecting the writing, or we can interact with it in any numbers of ways, and even if we do dislike it, we clearly don’t despise it, otherwise we would not be watching it. We have critical thinking, we’re not a mob who blindly follows a hate train.

Just leave us alone, please. You can be mad if someone is coming into your spaces with hatred. You can be mad if someone provokes you first. But if you’re the one doing the provoking? If you’re the one mistagging, if you’re the one attacking, if you’re the one doing the actions you claim others are doing? Consider why you get mad at others for doing something you’re also doing.
