This is a pre-reveal, undercover AU where Felix is Gabriel's son and Chat Noir. In their university years, both Marinette and Felix are still working to take down Hawk Moth. They both find separate evidence linking Gabriel's fashion company to Hawk Moth's operation and decide to secretly go undercover in his company. Marinette lands a Production Assistant job while Felix asks his father for a position. Suspicious of Felix's newfound interest in his company, Gabriel decides to hire a documentary crew to as a way to keep his son in check. This is the story as told through the documentary crew's lens.

Sister Bridgette AU: The Quantic Kids

Since Bridgette is an integral part of this AU, the rest of the Quantic Kids from the original concept will also appear as Bridgette’s friends. Since all of them are pretty much blank slates, I was free to give them whatever personalities and backstories that I wanted. I don’t have too much on some of them so I’m open to suggestions and ideas to flesh them out more.

Bridgette Dupain-Cheng - Most of the details from this version of Bridgette on these posts, but here is a summary of what I have.

She’s 16 going to 17, two years older than Marinette and her classmates. Edit: I’m aging her up so she is now in university.

Has green eyes like Tom and also inherited his tall genes.

She knows that Marinette is Ladybug cause she saw her transform in Origins 2.

She’s protective of Marinette, though not to the extent that Nora is with her sisters. Still, she can and will throw hands with whoever messes with her sister.

She dreams of becoming a photographer and is always carrying with her a camera.

Has a “stalker” phase with her love interest similar to Marinette’s stalkerish behaviour with Adrien. She got over it and now tries to prevent Marinette from doing the same.

In occasions, she has filled in for Marinette as the Ladybug hero; she goes by Ladybird. Eventually, Marinette decides to give Bridgette her own Miraculous; I’m thinking the Snake cause Second Chance would serve Bridgette well in her desire to protect her sister.

Felix Culpa - He’s Bridgette love interest/boyfriend. Note that he is not the same character as Felix Graham de Vanily, Adrien’s cousin. They’re different characters that only share the same first name. I used the surname Culpa since it’s the most used fan surname for him and because of the phrase “felix culpa”, meaning “an apparent error or disaster with happy consequences”. I liked the meaning of it.

Felix at first presented himself as a cold, stoic jerk who disliked to interact with others. Despite this, he was a kind person inside and it was a show of this kindness that caused Bridgette to fall in love with him.

He was cold to Bridgette at first because he found her very forward attempts to get his attention to be annoying. But after she apologized and explained that she admired him for his hidden kindness, Felix began to see her as a friend, later befriending the rest of the Quantic Kids. It was only later that Felix began to fall in love with Bridgette.

Felix wasn’t aware of Bridgette more “stalkerish” tendencies towards him until she told him sometime later after they became friends. While Felix did forgive Bridgette for her behaviour, he admits that if he has learned of it before they became friends, he would have filed a restraining order against her.

Felix is not very good at displaying his emotions, so he often uses actions to convey his feelings. This is more prominent when he and Bridgette start dating, with Felix often showing his affection with dramatic actions.

Felix’s jerkish. loner persona stems from the fact that his parents are not the best. His father is an asshole who only cares about profit and on how useful his family can be in increasing that profit; a mother who is actually a good person and cares for Felix but is depressed/disappointed because her husband doesn’t actually love her so she copes by drinking.

Edit: His father is an asshole who only married his mother for money and cheated on her. They divorced and he was kicked out but Felix’s mother copes with the heartbreak by being a workaholic.

Allen Gavroche - In the original concept, he was meant to be the hero Mercury and shared some similarities with Nino. Allen is the most common fan name for him that I could find. His surname, Gavroche, is taken from an old, unused character concept. Edit: Mistakenly wrote his name as Alan instead of Allen.

Allen has an interest in modern music and likes to combine different styles in new ways. He sometimes works with his friend Allegra to combine modern and classical music.

Allen is considered the “mom friend” of the group, always making sure that his friends eat right, are socializing a bit, and getting enough sleep.

He tries to act as the reasonable one to his best friend, Claude’s antics, though he sometimes has moments where he has dumbs ideas.

Allen is half-American and, unknown to anyone but his friends, he is the nephew of the American hero Mercury, through his mother and shares the same powers as him.

Allegra Canto - In the original concept, she was mean to be the hero Melodie. Allegra is the most common fan name given to her and I gave her the surname Canto, which is derived from the Italian word for “song” or “singing”.

Allegra comes from prestigious Italian family of musicians with Allegra herself being talented in playing the flute. Her family also possess magical powers and they usually cast magic thought their music. Allegra herself uses her flute to channel her magic and cast her spells. Allegra’s flute has magical properties but it has nothing to do with her ability to play it, it only makes it easier for her to channel her magic. 

Allegra is Bridgette’s best friend and they have know each other for years. She was the one who called Bridgette out over her “stalkerish” behaviour towards Felix and then helped her win Felix over in a healthier way.

Allegra and Felix are the ones with the most common sense in the group, though Felix has moments where his loner/jerk tendencies leads him into trouble. Therefor, Allegra is the usually the one holding the group's collective brain cell.

Claude Mimos - In the original concept, he was meant to be the hero Kid Mime. Claude is the most common fan name used for him and his surname, Mimos, comes from the Greek word for “actor, imitator” and the origin of the word “mime”.

His mother is the sister of Fred Harprele, making him Mylene’s cousin. His also half-Greek on his father’s side.

Like his uncle and cousin, Claude has an interest in theater and acting. He also has some skills as a stage magician.

His personality is goofy, always trying to entertain people. Claude is also the one in the group who most often has dumb ideas, often dragging the others into it, most often Alan who tries to be the reasonable one.
