If this is your first time here, welcome!

I have decided to challenge myself into renovating every single Maxis neighborhood, and then merging them together to create the ultimate uberhood.

Before you ask, no I will not be sharing my lots because of the ungodly amount of CC I use. 😅

I started off with Belladonna Cove, and I will slowly add the other hoods with each new season in the rotation.

To be honest, I created this project only for myself and never planned on sharing it. But since I started playing, I am having so much fun that it feels wrong to keep it all to myself. It's my first time seriously playing with the premades, and I find them so entertaining!

Here, I mostly post gameplay pictures. Most of them are candid, unedited screenshots, because I am way too lazy. If I had to edit and crop out every single picture, I would simply never post.

Anyways, I hope you'll have just as much fun as me ☺️

Let's meet the Aspir family.

Luis is hiding a secret. He has come into possession of a great power, a power that could potentially change his and his son's life. He had to do unspeakable things to obtain it, but now he worries that using it might not be the right thing to do.

Victor and Elizabeth recently welcomed their daughter Pauline. Working as a nurse at the maternity clinic, Victor loves babies. He hopes to give Pauline many siblings, as he grew up an only child and remembers being quite lonely. However, his wife Elizabeth is not on the same page. While she loves her daughter, she is not very keen on going through the whole pregnancy ordeal again. And she would much rather put her energy into climbing the corporate ladder.

I am getting tired of this family guy vs career woman trope 🙄

Also, Victor's mom was from Takemizu Village, so I want to say that he grew up with both cultures. And with Elizabeth's maiden name being Nejem, it sounds like her father could be from the Al Simhara region. My headcanon is that she's mixed. We need more multi-cultural households, that's fun!

For some reason I thought Victor and Elizabeth to be middle aged, but after thinking about it, it makes more sense for them to be in their 30s. And it works because they are around the same age as the Bells.

Gustav's Groceries

Welcome to Desiderata Valley's main grocery store.

Unfortunately, these letters don't show up in neighborhood view, but they do show up in the lot catalog thumbnail! So frustrating...

The infamous inaccessible parking lot is now accessible!

But it does feel a bit big for a store of this size.

I revamped the layout inside, because stairs in the middle of the room is awful.

And of course, they have lots of fish because it's a seaside town.

Turning Académie La Tour into Paris because I have free will 🤭

It is called La Tour in the French version of the game, which means "the Tower". And at least now I actually added a cool tower!

FYI, Le Tour means "the circumference", which is just nonsense. But US media loooves using French words incorrectly lol

Meanwhile, Tycho is sleeping tight, but Pascal is the one awake.

Alone with the baby for 5 mins and it looks like Pascal is already struggling 😂

Pascal is calling Vidcund to tell him the good news.

Time for the Baldwins to meet the new baby!

She fell asleep right when they arrived 😅

Sofia is happy about the baby, but she's more excited to see her mom.

She looks glad to have a sister. She doesn't know yet that they'll have to share a room lol.

Finally, Vanessa is awake!

Isabel is studying the parenting guide.

Also, all the infants in my game look gorgeous! But I don't have infant genetics faces so there might be some jumpscares when aging them up to toddlers 😂

Vanessa is all clean and she joins Tycho in the nursery.

I had to rearrange the bassinets a little bit

Isabel and Pascal can socialize a bit while watching over their babies ☺️

Isabel: I really hopes my husband gets a seat in the City Council. It would be so much more convenient for him to work in Belladonna Cove.

Technically they already knew of each other, since Pascal and Benjamin Baldwin are coworkers at the Science Lab.

Next, Isabel Baldwin has also been admitted to the maternity today.

The baby is coming!

It's a girl!

Her name is Vanessa Baldwin ☺️

And she's a Virgo as well.

Pascal and Isabel were the two Sims due to give birth today. The other ones are due in October and November 😊

I made the mistake of loading my game without my pregnancy-length mod, so they all immediately gave birth without giving the option to pause the pregnancy 😂 But I've figured it out, I'll keep my mod in until those who were pregnant for 100+ hours have given birth 😅

We don't need ALL the babies to be September Virgos 😂

Unfortunately, since Victor is only a visitor and not a resident he cannot interact with the babies properly. So his role will be to keep the maternity clean and the patients fed.

Meanwhile, Dr Hsu is taking care of Tycho and performing his first check up.

All is well, he will be reunited with his father later today.

Also, I tried to put a mask on Jihoon, but hm yeah. Let's say he doesn't need it 😂

It's a boy!

Welcome little Tycho Curious.

He was born around 10 am on September 2009, so he is a Virgo ☺️

I thought I had modded out the Pollination Tech genes, but apparently not 😅 Maybe Tycho will have some reconstructive surgery at some point in his life, but for now he's fine 😂

Pascal did have to go through surgery, but nothing major. He should recover in no time.

I forgot to put a mask on the doctor, but pretend he's a serious professional 😅

Let's dive in right where we left off!

Pascal is getting transferred to the maternity early in the morning.

Our new maternity Specialist is a townie named Jihoon Hsu.

Don't ask why he's a blonde dude with a Korean name 😅

And we also have a nurse: Victor Aspir.

His household will be introduced later.

Pascal calls Lazlo to let him know about his transfer.

And soon it's time to go to the labor room.

Maternity - Community Lot

Welcome to the community lot side of the Maternity! I wanted a place Sims can visit freely for ultrasounds, and other medical appointments while getting ready for the big day.

Maternity

The Maternity Clinic is ready to open its doors!

The right wing looks pixelly because it's actually a different lot. The main building is residential so that Sims can move in to give birth, but I also wanted a community lots for pregnancy scans, prenatal classes etc.

But this post is about the residential part, I'll show you the community lot in a different post.

I wanted to include a little garden so that the patients can enjoy some fresh air.

There are a total of 10 rooms in the building.

This might sound like a lot, but we currently have 9 pregnant Sims in the uberhood. Now, granted, not everyone will give birth on the same day, thankfully!

There is also a nursery on the second floor

The labor room is found on the top floor.

It is very wide on purpose, so that hopefully nothing will block the view for the birth cutscene 😅

There's also a surgery corner in case of emergencies.

I can't wait to start playing with this lot. I did something similar in my old BACC and it was a lot of fun. Although, I expect it will be quite chaotic.

hi! i couldn't find this on your blog so hope you don't mind a wcif of sorts - you've mentioned the YA stage and playing YA sims outside of uni, do you do that with mods or is it incorporated into your custom lifespan? thinking of changing up my own lifespan setup and intrigued by yours!

It's true that I never explained this in details.

I use Squinge's Mega College Pack to allow YA to live in any hood. With that mod you need to use the Semester tester to start the uni semester clock. Since I don't want my Sims to study, I never start the clock and I never send them to class.

One thing to keep in mind is that they won't age so you have to keep track of days yourself. I usually age up my teens into young adults with the Sim Blender (you can use a cake but it will give them the memory of attending uni). Then, when they are supposed to become adults I age them up again with the Sim Blender.

Because of that, if I want them to have a birthday party, I only throw a regular house party (otherwise the score will tank since the game doesn't recognise someone aging up).

There are also a few fake birthday cakes that will give you the candles animations but without aging up the Sim.
