Hey muses!! I go by Monet or SimsMonaLisa, and this is the FIRST edition of my cannabis legacy challenge; aka the messiest, softest, spiciest one yet. I wanted to make something inspired by cannabis culture but grounded in real storytelling. Every generation is based on a different strain, with its own traits, backstory, energy, and goals. Some are chaotic. Some are gentle. Some might ruin your life (in the best way).
You’re starting off as a single adult Sim with a rebellious teen and a surprise infant. No partner. No money. Just a dream, a bottle, and a household teetering on the edge of burnout. And from there? It’s all up to you. Each generation takes on a new vibe—from grounded roots to full neon meltdown. You’ll raise wild kids, burn some bridges, heal old wounds, and maybe plant something that lasts.

these Video Stations are more customizable, allowing you to place any computer or laptop on them and they have more slots for decorations. these aren't required for the mod to work. Sims can still use the original Video Station to record, but they'll need to own a computer or laptop to edit and upload the videos.

So, since I'm currently in the process of creating a starting save by rebuilding each world, haven't really played the game, and have deleted almost all the mods, this week I've decided to check what interesting there are on the internet, and have found a lot!

[Reshade] Changing CAS BG Colors w/ Edited Chromakey.fx
I hope this preview is intriguing enough :D Since all this is pretty new, I'll just include colors that I've released for my CAS BGs so far. A more detailed info coming in the future, and of course, more color variations!

// Requirements
Reshade: any version should work fine (preferably newer) as long as you have the full add-on support installed, which will be used by 2 things:
ShaderToggler: allows you to hide the CAS background mesh & mirrors so that you can use this shader without it cutting into those.
REST: clears UI of any reshade shaders & prevents certain shaders from affecting alpha textures. If you want the shader to work like a proper BG, this will be necessary.
⚠️ If you had installed these 2 add-ons in the past, I've updated both posts so you'll need to reinstall the whole thing. Fixed crashing issue in REST & added toggle groups to hide CAS BG & mirrors in ShaderToggler.

// How to install
Unlike regular CAS backgrounds, you'll be installing this the same way as you would with Reshade shaders. And just like those, you can do all the things below while the game is running!
Go to reshade-shaders > Shaders > make a custom folder. This will be a place where you can put this (and future) Chromakey shaders together.
In the Reshade panel, add the newly created folder under the Effect search paths so that it can recognize its contents. I've put mine in "_Nondefault"
DL the edited Chromakey.fx shader and save it in the custom folder.
Reload your Reshade panel. Option should now show up in your shader list!
Use in CAS
Simply change the color settings to whichever color you'd like. For this shader the options are rather limited, but with how editable this file is, it can open up to much more options!
// For alpha users
Make sure you have the REST add-on and my settings installed . Otherwise, the shader will just cut through the mesh.

I was playing the game the other day and kept getting irritated that I had to keep checking on my laundry to see if the cycle was finished or not. I was then shocked to find out that there wasn't a mod already out there to notify you when your laundry cycle was done...so I made one!
Features:
Provides an in-game notification when the cycle is done for washing machine, dryer, & clothesline.
Given the state of your washing machine & dryer, it might not be that your clothes are cleaned and/or dried, it just lets you know that the cycle is finished! (you may have to dry it or wash it again)
There's a bunch of different variations of the notification you receive.
The notification comes from your washer, dryer or clothesline--which I think is funny.
Currently it's only in English & Italian (thanks to @stranizia), if anyone wants to translate it into other languages, please reach out!!
