For some reason the bathroom is one of his favorite rooms. If I shut the door without him he cries and pouts. If the door is shut while he’s in the bathroom, he jumps onto the door, wagging his tail like a dog and prancing around like one. The after effects: we had to run to the store real quick and before we left I gave my little druggie a tummy rub. Upon seeing my work badge dangling and swinging side to side, he was so amazed that he laid there staring at it for like five minutes. When we came back, there he was, looking at that spot like it was the secret to life. His dad tried to get him to jump onto his kitty tower so he could be more comfortable. If there was any doubt this is my son, Simon smelled the very little amount of catnip I spilled in a bag with his bowls and some toys and was feening. While we were looking at his toys he tore the bag open, spilling the little bit on my work clothes and continued trying to eat the bag. After we confiscated it, and I put some in his bowl, he ignored us and started rubbing himself all over my clothes. This is his “defeated” position because I don’t want him to sit on my lap while I’m using the bathroom. If he can’t be in my lap, he’ll try to climb on my back or stand up with his paws on my shoulder. The same thing applies if I’m on the computer, he loves to be either held like a baby or sitting importantly on my lap. Literally 10 minutes after this picture was taken, while I laid on the couch he decided that 3 am was a great time to unleash his energy. He jumped onto the side table before jumping to the couch and using my face as a jumping pad to get to the other side table.
