it appears when:
- medicine is in your sim's inventory;
- there is a sim nearby who your sim knows and who has a sickness or ailment.
- age: child to elder.
the sim will take the medicine and recover, and one medicine will be removed from your inventory.
no translation is needed, all text is from the game.

I got it into my head this morning that I should recolor the blouses from @vintagesimstress's incredible Working Girl set, and I somehow managed to squeeze my 30-swatch palette into six packages and 214 swatches. GOD HELP ME.
This blouse comes in two mesh variations and three pattern variations - split up into six total packages. Each blouse variation comes in: 30 solid swatches, 60 striped swatches (30 with a white base, and 30 multicolored stripes), and 24 of @trillyke's plaids. Previews of each variation below the cut, but no swatch previews because I don't hate myself.

Anyway–
I've been rewatching Anne with an E and planning a little historical gameplay-ish project, and as always the 1890s-1900s have been heavily on my mind. Today I bring a humble offering of pastoral countryside fashions - including a BGC conversion and mesh edit of the new boater hat, as well as a set of dresses for girls, and some daywear for ladies.

Three variations of the same basic dress, for girls of varying levels of fancyness. The ruffle around the collar of the Diana dress is ripped straight from @vintagesimstress, so many thanks for her open TOU!
The Ruby and Anne dresses take their textures from Diana, so the Diana dress is required if you want the other two to work. Each dress comes in my 30 solids and 24 of @trillyke's plaids, as per usual. Located in the long dress category. The Ruby dress has had the top ruffle removed, and the Anne dress has slimmer sleeves and a less poofy skirt - because we can't all have nice things, even when we really really want them. Sorry Anne.
The apron overlay is found in rings, and it works with all three dresses - as well as possibly with other dresses, though I haven't fully tested it. The overlay for the collar ruffle won't show up on Ruby and Anne, as seen in the cover image, but it may clip with textures if you try and use it on other dresses. This overlay also comes in 30 solids and 24 plaids!
Marilla Blouse / Prissy Dress / Boater Hat
As I was making my Marilla sim for my save file, I found that I really didn't have a lot of good options for simple, plain Victorian-ish blouses, especially given Marilla's open disregard for puff sleeves. So, I made one! This is a recolor of a blouse from L&D, but it has been made BGC so everyone can enjoy! This comes in 30 solids and 24 plaids.
The Prissy dress is a combination of the ever-beloved Edwardian dress from Get Together and the ruffly top from the sleepover kit. It's perfect for tea in the garden, strolling around town, and abandoning an ill-advised marriage to go to University. It comes in my usual 30 solids with a white base, 6 colors with a black base, and 10 extra pastel swatches.
The boater hat is instrumental to the turn-of-the-century-pastoral-aesthetic, and I really loved this one from the prairie kit, but the crown was just awkwardly tall. I shortened it as much as possible, recolored it to hell, and converted it for children and toddlers. 30 ribbon colors on a beige base, plus 8 of them also on black.
A large Gothic castle on the island of Vinderburg, which has belonged to a local aristocratic family for over 500 years. Suitable for play from 1900 to the early 1940s.
Conversion/recolor of the child's gala suit that came with Royalty and Legacy. Because men got nothing like it and I'm mad about that.

Original pants mesh swapped to one that fit better. I cannibalized all our palettes for the recolor--Steampunk and Tarshian primarily, with a set of Sinful Lord combos at the end. For variety.

I'm currently playing the Detective career for the first time, and naturally I wanted to deck out the police station and prison into a more appropriate style for my gameplay.
I have been wanting to make these gas lights for quite a while now, and now was the perfect excuse!
As gas was first reticulated indoors, there was, of course, a need for cheap ways to take advantage of it. Candles are annoying to have to change all the time, and the wax was pretty gross (I imagine), being mostly made of animal fats.
When I first saw the chandelier from AnYe's Tuscany set, it reminded me SO much of these early gas lights!
So, I have converted them as such, and have created a wall sconce as well. All base game compatible, and off the grid!
I have seen in pictures that in an industrial/office/poor - lower class setting, these would be either with a small cage or shade around the mouth of the gas pipe; or, none at all. So, I have done this using fun invisible trickery - each swatch (10 in total) has both a naked version, and a version with a cage around it; this comes in 5 different gas pipe colours.
I have done a medium, and tall version of the chandeliers - I think a short version would be tooooo short: too short to realistically light the flames when needed.
I've started adding custom interactions to things as well; the game base interactions say things like "light.. this candle", which is not correct when it's not a candle, or when it's a chandelier!! So, I've changed the text to something more related to what the lights actually are.

As I mentioned above, I am playing the detective career for the first time. Looking at the Get To Work items, I was disappointed to see they were soo modern, and left little for a historical player. So, I have started a set specifically for the Get To Work police station and prison, and trying to make a historical-ish replacement for each required lot item. I can't wait to release this for everyone to play! I still have a few more items to make and tweak!

Another thing I figured out how to make were paneled walls with inset images (is there a correct term for this? I dunno). I'd been trying to make myself a mural and although I think I know what to do it now, I still haven't actually made it because it makes my tiny brain hurt trying to figure out the best way to do it. So. I made these instead.
I have some CC like this in game which I use in all my medieval builds, and I really wanted to make some more options for myself! I made myself the unicorn ones since they're my favourite animal, then decided to add an ocean theme with medieval Shromp and friends.
All images have been taken from actual medieval manuscripts, art, and tapestries! No AI here, ever!
I've made versions for short/medium/tall walls, but due to dimensions the shorter walls do look better I think (tall ones are shown in the in game previews below)
Find them in Paneling in build mode! I've included a blank swatch so you can create wooden walls with only one or two artworks.
I've received numerous requests for this particular item, so I went ahead and cooked something up for you guys. The Medieval Ticket Kiosk has all the same functions as the regular one, but has custom coding that eliminates the screen VFX and enables off-the-grid functionality.
I've also included a second, optional file that overrides the kiosk check-in animation. This override replaces the cellphone with a leather-bound book and removes the screen blooping noises. This override will NOT conflict with other historical phone overrides you may already have installed, as it only affects this particular animation.

Compatibility
The optional animation override affects the following: anim_TicketMachine_CheckIn (380717), c2o_ticketMachine_signIn_x, a2o_ticketMachine_signIn_carry_x, and a2o_ticketMachine_signIn_x. It will override all instances of the animation in game.
Note: As with any piece of cc that employs custom tuning, the kiosk interactions may break after a major update. Keep this (and other items like it) in a separate folder, so that if you start getting errors, the likely culprits are all in one place.
