It's been a long time coming, but here's the populated version of Belladonna Cove!! If you are looking for the empty version, click HERE.
if you like what I do & want to say thank you with a tip, I have a Ko-fi <3
A lot of notes this time - it might seem like a lot of rambling but I wanted to make sure everything is clearly explained - please read carefully before downloading to avoid problems!
The neighbourhood makes use of all EPs and Stuff Packs. EPs are definitely all required, but it should still be playable without all SPs. Some items will be missing though!
I have used @meetmetotheriver's fantastic Clean Belladonna Cove as a base, a huge thank you to her for making this possible <3
All of the lots have been cleaned with Chris Hatch's lot cleaner. I am pretty confident the neighbourhood is safe and won’t cause corruption but can’t offer a 100% guarantee - as always make sure you back up first before installing!
Graves are sadly missing, I could not figure out a way to get them to show up in Gamesend Grounds. If you would like to respawn them it's easy enough to do, see this tutorial.
In @meetmetotheriver's clean Belladonna Cove, Carlos Contender and Connor Weir have different aspirations to the original Maxis hood. I get the logic behind changing them, but I honestly really like Carlos being a popularity sim (hey, why should romance sims get to have all the fun?) so changed it back. I changed Connor's back too, for consistency. One of the things I like about Belladonna Cove is its sims don't always have the "obvious" aspirations and sims sometimes act against type - stuff like Gabriel Green being a knowledge sim who is also a "slacker", etc. This is of course easy to change yourself if you disagree - and you can also use secondary aspirations to give sims more depth too :)
There are no stealth hoods or bin families included in this download - if you want, for example, to move the Newsons into the trailer I made for them, you will need to add them to the hood yourself. If you want them, I highly reccommend @meetmetotheriver‘s Stealth Hoods as Shopping Districts.
The Codial sisters' NPC witch friends are included, but landlords, social group townies, and butler are not. If you want these, you can add them using @plumbtales Magic Townies & NPCS pools. Townies are also not included - I don't know of a way to add them.
If you’d like to see more of the lots before you download, you can view and download each individual makeover on my index page. (Useful easpecially for apartments, see below).
Mootilda’s subhood selection mod is required for this hood to appear correctly on the “add a nightlife destination”/"add a shopping district" screens.
Some of the lots have pretty extensive landscaping - as always I reccommend grabbing Perfect Plants or Trim Inaccessible Bushes and Water Inaccessible Flowers. Or just make alterations to the gardens to make them more manageable.
Some additional notes on apartments:
Playable sims which live in apartments can be found in the family bin. (I couldn't figure out a way to move them in without spawning a bunch of extra sims.) You will need to move them in yourself!
I did not adjust their family funds so they may start out with slightly different to the original neighbourhood, the Belladonna Sims are all pretty wealthy though so will be able to afford their new apartments just fine :)
If you have testing cheats enabled, there is an option to "rent furnished" by right-clicking on the apartment door. There's also a mod that enables the option. You'll want to do this for the playables!
Rent is really expensive by default, I like using the halved apartment rent mod.
If you would like to make changes to any apartment lots, it is best to do it before moving sims in!
I experimented a lot, but could not for the life of me figure out how to get the "lot class values" to work as expected - so your social group neighbours will often not be from the right group.
According to this thread, one workaround here is to use the changeLotClassification cheat when a family first moves into an apartment, to ensure you get the "correct" neighbours.
Or, you can just get a townie apartment residents mod, which bypasses the need to worry about social group townies entirely.
The Balwins live in Tech Terrace, their apartment is at the front on the 2nd foor. (I am using "floor" in the American way to avoid confusion, so the "ground floor" in UK English = the 1st floor).
The Clevelands live in Bella Park Condominiums, on the 2nd floor of the brown building on the right (with the white floormat).
The DeBateaus live in the Cornerstone Condominiums, in the penthouse suite. (Top floor, largest apartment).
Jessica Peterson lives in Main Street Mobile Homes, the pink trailer.
The Patels live in Ocean View Apartments, theirs is the building on the front-right, with the black 2nd empire roof.
The Cho & Riley families both live in Sentinel Apartments. The Riley's are on the 2nd floor (with the brown walls), the Chos are on the 3rd floor (with the white walls).

By popular demand I am including a Downtown version too, but please note: due to the way EAxis coded Downtowns, ONLY THE FIRST DOWNTOWN ADDED TO A NEIGHBOURHOOD WILL HAVE SIMS ADDED WITH IT. I am unsure what would happen if you tried adding this to a neighbourhood which already had a downtown, but would not reccommend it! If you have any doubts, please use the shopping subhood option.
