A small frown presented itself as Chiyuu had already taken his bags, but only for a second.
Makoto pulled his hand back after having it shaken. Just lay down the praise, Makoto! You got this! Be charming! Be gracious! His mental coach had pompoms at this point. “An equally cute name to suit you, huh, Chiyuu? My day just keeps getting better and better.” More like, worse and worse!! Repeating her name, he could feel the vowels bounce quite nicely off his tongue. He merely blinked his green eyes as she refused to disclose her last name. The idol wasn’t exactly sure if her prediction about him being nervous was going to come true, but if it’s what she wanted, then it was only expected of him not to ask any further.
“Wow, it’s much nicer than I had expected…” The boy remarked as he followed her inside the complex, closing and locking the door behind them and taking off his shoes. Makoto turned his head as he took in his new environment, green hues lighting up with admiration. “Or perhaps it’s because you’re that good at keeping the place tidy–ah!” Seeing her blonde hair flicker as she turned the corner, he took up the share of luggage he was left with and hastily walked after Chiyuu. He didn’t seem to minding the faint voices from the television at all.
She poked her head out from around the corner, before realizing she hadn't turned off the television all the way. Giving a squeak, she ran over to the television and turned it off fully, meekly smiling as she did so. "Well my last roommate left, and I guess her roommate had a second fridge and left it behind... It's jut been me, so it's pretty easy to keep clean around here."
She chuckled a bit, tilting her head. "So, the door that's open is your room. I made sure to keep it not dusty in case my new roommate, you, had some sort of dust allergy."
And she sort of just stood there, not certain what she should do.
