About medicine, he could understand, once he tried those as well, he was still on trial with those, and honestly, it was been a ride with that, yet he did understand the point of Logan about those. Yet he couldn’t keep his mind on that too long as Logan kept talking about how it was normal for other people which make him frown at that in worry. “What is the difference between you and other people? Like… We are all humans and have feelings… I don’t see how you exclude yourself from that if you said you have ADHD and stimming is a necessary thing to pass your feelings in some way…” He was confused as he signals that. “Oh but… You don’t need to answer if you feel uncomfortable in doing so.”
Virgil relaxed as he hears Logan keep talking and nodding, although, now that the more tense part was gone he yawned putting a hand in front of his mouth at that. As his shoulders drop a bit and he rubs his eyes a little bit. “Sorry… Having an anxiety attack normally let me tired…” He explains as he looks at Logan. “But yeah, you totally did! If it wasn’t for you, we probably would keep the misunderstanding going… Now I guess I will talk with mom and she probably will try to intermediate a little more while we all get more educated in that.” He relaxes as he looks at him smiling a bit. “If you want, I can talk to my therapist so you can go there with me as well… To you know, learn more about anxiety.” He shrugs, as Logan seems to be someone who likes to learn he guessed it would be an okay thing to say.
Janus smiles at the suggestions, in all honesty, he didn’t know too much about baking or things like that, but he was happy to see Patton so happy talking about those things and going on about it. He was also smiling a bit when Patton said about truffles for Remus glad that at least for now Patton wasn’t thinking too much about the drama of Remus. Figure that Patton probably was just a cinnamon roll as people says, and he honestly was innocent about everything. Thinking a bit about it and wonder as he just listening to Patton talk.
“Just a heads up, Virgil can be a sugar tooth, but others day he can also be against sugar. It depends entirely on his mood, as it’s an enigma every day, you can try to figure out what is his mood or just try to cut the sugar. He will honestly try a bit if he is in a day against sugar. But it’s more safe if you do with low sugar or just stick to dark chocolate and mint.” He explains as he knew that Virgil could and couldn’t like sugar certain days and that those days could go on for a few weeks. He shrugs as he looks a bit at Logan and Virgil, noticing Virgil yawning.
“Hey Patton, I need to sign off the call, but I will still be on chat. I need to go eat.” Janus said gently. “Maybe you can ask for Virgil to let you keep using his notebook or something? Whatever the case is, it was fun to meet you. I’m sorry if I was rude or that I gave signals of displeasure or annoyance, it wasn’t my intention to make you feel rejected or something.” He explains softly as he looks at him, he was clearly using his notebook, as his fingers were moving while talking. “I hope the first introduction doesn’t last and that we can get along from now own. I also hope we can all learn about each other more and not trigger each other by accident.” He smiles a bit at that, he was proud that he was talking calmly and explaining. “Once again, I’m sorry for anything.”
He moved his eyes a bit. “Vee, I need to hang up, but if you need me you can text me.” Virgil nods at that waving his hand a bit. “Logan, it was a pleasure to meet you as well. I hope we can talk more in the future and that we can play chess next time or something.”
Logan blinked in surprise at the question, though once it fully registered in his head and he was no longer caught off guard by it, he simply shrugged in response. “I’m not uncomfortable, but I don’t know the answer to that question, if I’m being completely honest. You’d have to ask my father.” he replied simply. Although, he supposed if someone were to ask his father, he probably wouldn’t have very kind things to say about the subject... the whole reason he’d adopted Logan was to raise a brilliant, perfect child, and unfortunately for Logan, being ADHD and stimming and such didn’t really fit in his dad’s description of the ‘perfect child’. Perhaps, however, he would find a trustworthy friend group in Virgil, Patton, Roman, Janus, and Remus... and they would be the sort of people he could open up in front of and be himself around a bit more without fear of them running back to his dad and reporting all his actions to him... it wasn’t quite the same as being able to just be himself all the time, but it was better than having to bottle everything up 24/7, and the thought of actually having friends in general made it difficult not to smile.
Logan gave a small nod of understanding when Virgil pointed out that having anxiety to the point of an attack normally made him tired, mostly just relieved that he was able to help. “That’s good to hear, I believe getting your mother involved is the right call.” Logan stated. “Sure, I would be honored to be able to learn more about anxiety so that I can better help in the future.” he stated, honestly glad that Virgil would even want him to speak to his therapist. He glanced back at Patton, wanting to check in on him, noticing that Patton seemed to be doing a lot better now that Janus had him distracted and talking about things that made him happy, that was good. Logan wasn’t really sure why he’d become so overprotective of Patton so quickly, he supposed it was because he and Patton had a lot in common, what with both having ADHD and both being adopted... only Patton still had those more innocent qualities that the way Logan’s father raised him prevented him from keeping, even when he was really little... and Logan didn’t want to see Patton lose those things the way he had, so he supposed that’s where the overprotectiveness came in...
Patton nodded a bit when Janus told him more about Virgil, making mental notes of everything he was told and praying he’d remember it all. Hopefully it would always work out that Patton was aware of how Virgil was feeling about sugar that day before he went to the trouble of making something, but he figured that was a groove they’d have to take the time to get into the better they got to know one another. He snapped out of his thoughts when Janus announced that he needed to sign off the call, but he would still be on chat... Patton really did need to get a computer and a phone so he wouldn’t need to ask to borrow Virgil’s all the time. Though he supposed he could worry about that more later... it made sense, Janus did need to eat. “Okay.” Patton said with a small nod. “It was really nice talking to you, I’m glad I got to meet you.” Patton added after a moment, giving a small smile when Janus more or less said the same thing to him. “That’s okay.” he said softly with a small shrug when Janus apologized if he gave off any signs of being annoyed. Things may have started off a bit rocky, but they were good now, and that’s what really mattered.
He was really looking forward to talking to Janus again and getting to know each other better, just like Janus had said. He had a feeling that the whole, misunderstandings and accidental triggerings would happen less and less as time went on, and he didn’t think it was something they really had to worry about too much anymore, since at least now they all knew it was just that... misunderstandings, so it was much easier to be forgiving and move past it if it did end up happening. Patton looked back over at Virgil when Janus addressed him, watching the interaction between the two. Logan glanced back at the screen when he heard his name. “Pleasure to meet you too... I look forward to speaking with you again in the near future, and proving to be a worthy opponent in a game of chess.” Logan said with a small smile before looking back at Patton. “I really should be getting home myself.” he told him, though he instantly noticed the slight pout on Patton’s face the minute he mentioned leaving, despite the fact that Patton was trying to hide it. “I don’t believe I have any plans for tomorrow... if you’d like to... hang out, as they say?” Logan offered, Patton’s pout quickly switching to a smile. “Yeah, okay!” Patton said happily.
Patton looked Logan over, hesitating a moment before giving Logan a hug, Logan blinking in surprise at the action, but quickly hugging Patton back... he had a feeling that since Virgil’s anxiety sometimes made him uncomfortable with physical affection that Patton might not get hugs too often, and Patton seemed like the sort of be one for physical affection, so Logan wanted to give it whenever Patton needed since he didn’t mind... and if Logan were to be completely honest, he may have been a bit touch starved and in need of some affection himself... it wasn’t exactly like he got hugs at home, and he had to admit, getting a hug from Patton was surprisingly nice, and comforting, which was quite unexpected since he’d really done it more for Patton than for himself, he hadn’t exactly realized he needed any comforting. Once Patton finally pulled away, Logan adjusted his glasses a bit. “I’ll stop by around lunchtime? Any idea of what you’d like to do?” Logan questioned, Patton giving a small shrug in response. He didn’t really know what he wanted to do, he was just relieved to not be alone, Logan biting his lip in thought. “Unless... perhaps instead of stopping by during the day, you might prefer that I... spend the night, a sort of... sleepover of sorts, if your parents are alright with it, of course.” Logan suggested, Patton immediately nodding.
Logan had a feeling Patton probably had issues with sleep, and based off of Patton’s reaction, he’d say that was a fair statement to make. “Alright then... so instead of stopping by at lunch, I’ll stop by around dinnertime... that’s probably better anyway, then you have the whole day to spend time with Virgil and your parents and catch them up on everything we discussed tonight. If for any reason your parents say no, I’m sure Virgil would allow you to text me to let me know not to stop by... he has my number now.” Logan finished. “Okay, thank you, Logan.” Patton said softly, Logan giving a small smile. “Of course.” he hesitated before smiling himself. “What are friends for, right?” Logan added after a moment, sliding his hands into his pockets and letting out a small chuckle when Patton bounced at that. “See you later, Virgil, it was lovely meeting you. I do look forward to seeing you again soon.” Logan said genuinely before showing himself out, incredibly happy that he’d decided to take a walk today.
